Star Plus confirms IPKKND 3' to replace PMHMD'
s revealed first on BizAsiaLive.com, Star Plus will be axing its popular show Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil' this month, to make way for Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon Season 3'.
Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil', which has done incredibly well internationally and sits at No.1 in the UK, has underperformed in India. The show has not managed to garner the kind of TRPs that were required for a fiction of this magnitude when it launched last November. The final episode of the show will air on Friday 30th June 2017.
In its place will come the much awaited third season of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon', which launches on Monday 3rd July at 20:00. It stars Barun Sobti and Shivani Tomar. Beside a few flashbacks to the first season, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon Season 3' will have a new plot and bear no resemblance to Arnav and Khushi's story in the original. In this season, Sobti plays Advay and Tomar plays Chandni.
In promos unveiled by Star Plus, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3' launches on Monday 3rd July.
