And that day Manohar had known that all the effort and love that he had given to his boy, was now worth a million and he knew that whether he was around or not, Arnav would always keep the family together...
It was time to recoup again, her mind registered while her heart cried and sagged in sorrow, the only question being, how? She didnt register when she was brought to her feet and when she slipped out of the house, with her husband by her side, but all she did was to pray for her child and her happiness, fervently hoping that her daughter would have escaped unscathed, this one time.
She nodded at her Ma and held her hand and walked her through the silent corridors of the hospital, leading her to meet her beloved daughter, who she knew was the heartbeat of her mother's heart, one that had been muted for a while but one that never ceased to exist. And while she did try to put up a brave front, at least for the sake of her parents, she knew that she was far from sane.
And yet, all she felt was a stiff numbness that had weighed her down, so much so that she has been unable to speak, let alone cry or even lift a finger and accuse her husband for the grave loss that he had caused her.
He needed answers from his elder cousin and he needed them now, because Akash had to be stopped, sooner than later before he destroyed everything that was dear to him.

I love you guys, I always have and I always will. Which is why I get back to writing, time and again, despite the not-so-favourable circumstances at my end. However, I am only a mere mortal, which is why I am going to be taking a short hiatus from writing and Wedded, as I travel back home to get my life and health back to semblance. So this is where I am going to leave you until the next chapter of Wedded which will be updated around June 20th, 2017. But there is more.
During this break the blog will remain closed and inaccessible, and Wedded will be out-of-bounds for anyone and everyone. And I am sure, given the cases of plagiarism that have come up recently, you guys would agree with me that my stories should not be left unattended for the nincompoops to put their sticky fingers to good use. However, ONLY for my regular readers, I have sought permission from the publishing team and put forth excerpts of 3 prologues before I go. And here is the way forward. In the link to the pst Curtain Raiser", you would have to do the following-
- Read the excerpts
- Put down your choices and comments. Remember dont put all' or both' or confused' or cant decide'. That will jeopardise your access to the blog. I am sure you are big enough to decide which one of the prologues is most endearing to you and which story would you want me to take up next. Just number the stories- first, second and third. Let me also tell you that the chapters will be of shorter length, as compared to Wedded, probably half the length, if not one-third. But the updates will be regular.
- In case you would be traveling or away from the blog for a while, drop in a comment and let me know here and/or the Excerpts page.
- IF, although a foreground for many readers has its own cons and in the absence of the DT from the erstwhile IPK forum, I am not too sure as to how things will be when I am back. Keeping the well being of the readers in mind, the team is yet to reach a consensus, as to where and how the new stories would be uploaded. The updates will be on the blog anyhow, but we need to figure out if IF (IPK forum or FF forum) is required or not. And unfortunately I have no say here. So while the blog is open, pls take a minute and put down your comments on Wedded Chap 44 and the Excerpts pages. This will give the team the chance to add you to the private blog, if need be, marking your place on the blog. Dont worry I have all your emails with me, which I have handed out to the team. So either me or someone from the team will get in touch with you, rest assure. I will anyhow be updating the teasers for Wedded Chapters 45-50 around June 5, 2017 on IF/ blog. So the regular readers, your interest will be looked after.
- Remember the blog closes on May 25th and you have exactly one week from now to make your presence felt. Donot forget that you as a regular reader have been made privy to the prologues, first hand. The others will read only the prologue you pick and when I post the new tale after my return. And a sincere request to all newbies and groupbies, pls make sure your inbox is empty before you drop me a PM asking why you havent been marked on a certain chapter?
- Lastly, I know its been a long note, but I just wanted to say that during this break I am going to be initiating the pre-publication for Wedded, including the book layout and design, and believe me publishing is far more challenging and time consuming than writing stories. So while I know where you guys are coming from, I would request you to pls keep faith and respect my privacy during the next 3 weeks. Pls donot flood my inbox unless absolutely necessary because chances are I mayn't be logging in for days before you hear back from me. If at all you feel that you have not been contacted till June 10th, and you have been a regular reader, pls drop an email via showing interest through the private blog and someone will revert back in 48/72 hours. Also, adding readers to the private blog is not my prerogative, the team has a list ready. Ah ha, the regular readers donot worry, you are all on board and your interest to the new tales too will keep you here. However, some irregular readers have to be taken down as with the new stories, I will be throwing the blog open to a host of non-IF readers. So to sum it up, regular readers can relax, new readers will be got on board later when the story is launched formally, and irregular readers, well I am so sorry, I cant help it. Perhaps, you and I were never meant to be.
