Speculations galore. Anyone's guess is as good as the other. So, let me share my 2 cents too.
1. Why Singh Raizada? Well, it created the hype that Gul thought it would.
2. Is it related to IPK? SP has been on an IPK selling spree. Would they allow something that connects their show to Gul's new show unless they're officially looking at a sequel? No. And this being a new SP show is unlikely as of now because they don't like anyone else releasing their videos. Maybe if it's a Hotstar series. And even then, SP knows IPK is their precious golden goose. They won't take the decision too lightly. Neither would Gul.
3. Is every Sharma necessarily related to another Sharma? Gul's QH had a Haider. Then she had another Haider in Tanhaiyan. And to the best of my knowledge, they weren't anything alike. And nothing in the video even hints at Advay being anything like Arnav. Is he connected to Arnav? Maybe. Maybe not. But I don't see how anyone can be sure they'll be similar characters.
4. I don't remember if it was this thread or the other thread, but I saw someone say Gul only makes angry young men or Casanova. Actually, she only ever created angry young men. A fairly relaxed Casanova was new. Haider was not just like every other Gul Khan male lead. And her female lead, Meera was nothing like any of her other female leads either. So, maybe assuming they'll be similar is jumping the gun. They may be similar. Because we really don't know. But they will be similar? How can anyone be sure? Just because there's a Singh Raizada in their names? I can't imagine Arnav jumping out of the jeep the way Advay did. The whole body language is different here. Gul did try something new with Tanhaiyan. So, it isn't inconceivable to imagine her trying something different again.
5. Anyone can edit wiki. That is hardly reliable.
6. A cameo in IB. I'd love to watch him play an antagonist(based solely on the baddie vibe of the video) in IB although I'd be happier if it's a new show. But so long as it's Sobti acting on our screens, I don't mind anything.
7. Just because Gul has ways to use the draw of the Singh Raizada name, Sobti's ASR made him very difficult to forget, doesn't mean, it has to be connected to IPK. She'll be walking on a slippery slope if she decides to make him Ar-Hi's son or whatever. A remote connection to Arnav seems more likely, if at all she wants to connect them. And that connection alone doesn't not make it a new show. What's a great way to gain attention doesn't naturally mean she doesn't have faith in her product. Pretty sure she hasn't started making it, yet & can think of ways to make it better if that were the case instead of hoping one surname would cover it.

Haider had no trace of Arnav. I'm told he had no trace of THMS's ARJUN either.
And now, Advay doesn't seem to have a trace of Arnav. Or even Haider despite the similarities in their looks. His body language has shifted. That's crazy stuff. Sobti's talent. I wish we got to watch more of it more frequently.
Also, the swag. Sobti's swag really is quite something. Then again, this is the man who made Arnav Singh Raizada unbelievably sexy even in those terrible polyester suits & carried off Haider's edgy style so effortlessly. So, shouldn't be surprised, I guess.
Media doesn't have any clue about what this video is for. It's pretty obvious by now. Gul has maintained secrecy. I wish she shares it with us sooner than later. Sobti needs to get back to our screens ASAP
In other news, Sarabhai is back on Hotstar. Looks like Hotstar is one hell of a platform for short series. It's churning out one show after another starting with Tanhaiyan. If Gul is looking at another Hotstar series with Sobti, it'd be pretty amazing. A weekend finite series would be awesome. But that seems a little unlikely, maybe.
That was more than 2 cents. But this is my 1st post in 20 odd pages. Had to make up for that? :'D
