Her head snapped towards the source of the voice as she took in Kunal's knackered and exhausted form, as he held a cup of steaming coffee in one hand and looked up and smiled at her... Kunal didnt miss anything. He didnt miss the curiosity in her eyes when she had looked at him. He didnt miss the movement of her eyes towards the door as she referred to her husband. He didnt miss her hurried gestures and the fact that she was cutting her sentences short. to hurry up and get back to her beloved husband.

"I love you, Khushi, from the very minute I had laid my eyes on you when you were eight, I had loved you and fallen irrevocably in love with you with each passing day. I cant even begin to tell you how I had felt when Ma had asked me to leave you and marry someone else. I was devastated and I felt like I would die, I could not breathe, Khushi, you were my life," he looked in her shocked and red eyes and spoke aloud,"and that is why I decided to confront you that night. I am so sorry, Khushi, I love you, I always have and I always will..."

And that is how a stunned Arnav, whose hands had frozen by his side, whose body had paralysed with shock and whose heart had stopped beating in his chest that very minute, had discovered his beloved wife, in the arms of her lover who was confessing his undying love for her, while he had stood on the sidelines and watched his life slip away from his hands in a span of a few seconds...

1. A lot of readers have been asking for Payal's POV and lemme tell you that from the time the idea of Wedded first took birth in my mind, I had decided to give a perspective about Payal's life as an interlude and you will have it out, very soon. And YES, Payal did work under Akash before she married him and yes, there is a downward progression in her, which typically didnt sit very well with me in the show w.r.t Khushi though the case was different there. Anyway, it could also be because I am a hardcore feminist but here in the story the point is that progression has to be upward' in any individual or any relationship. Pls check out the fabulous comments of Akshu.ray who has summed it up beautifully and Catherine's comment about the changes in Arnav. They have decoded the story like the back of their hands.
2. Ah, and yes the scene in the teaser was inspired from the terrace fiasco in the show, though, the Arnav and the writer here are different. So stay tuned and I know a lot of you are worried about Arnav's reaction to Khushi's past, but Arnav is a reasonable and strong man and he loves Khushi immensely. So you dont fret for Khushi's future, if that is of any help. And while I know most of the readers have a soft corner for Arnav and have developed a mutual hate for Kunal, but lemme tell you that by the end of Wedded, you will love Kunal. Keep faith and dont stress, this is just one track there is a LOT more coming up and the past needed a closure. We still have time before we wrap Wedded.
3. Also, I dont know how this idea germinated that Arnav will play according to Lavanya's whims and fancies for Akash 's sake. But Arnav is an intelligent man and he doesnt take people on face value and is getting to the bottom of the whole Payash matter without trusting Lavanya, isnt he? So why the unnecessary flak towards him? Plus, this is the character I have created who is righteous in his own might and if I show him bowing down to Lavanya, it will be a failure of my character, and I for one dont do cliches and least of all failures. I mean really, the juvenility of the readers is appalling and even after showing the conversation between Lavanya and Arnav, his intentions are being questioned. Grow up, please.
4. I am tired of addressing this question again and again about opening' the story for new readers/ old and irregular readers. Once and for all, Wedded stands inaccessible and closed for anyone now. It already has a dedicated reader base of people who have stuck with it from the beginning and I cannot entertain irregular newcomers/ old members who want to read Wedded as a timepass, as and when, they have free time. I dont want to sound rude but in my defence the story was open and accessible for a good 4 months and if you missed it then I cant help it. Its my story and I do need to have a say somewhere, so if you think I am condescending, SO BE IT. And I am going to make it all the more tougher and up the bait with the new stories. So you guys better gear up. Wedded will be sent in for printing and publishing once its finished, it should typically take a few months for it to be out, but it will be out. So you can buy the book and read it, and it will be an Arhi story. And that is ALL I can say.
5. I have already penned down the prologues to the two new stories, both love stories that explore the symphony of a couple in a marriage, albeit in contrasting hues. But the point of the matter is that I am NOT going to be updating the stories until Wedded is over, which means with two epilogues post the last chapter. Because the spin off series of Wedded will only be a part of the book which you will get to read as a bonus when you buy it. Anyway, I am ok with posting the prologue though I feel its going to be a waste effort since the story will anyway be on hold and it will unnecessarily tickle the taste buds of the plagiarists. So, do lemme know if you would want to read the prologues after the last chapter of Wedded?

This New Year has had a daunting start for me and as most of you already know that besides my own health issues, my lil kid and now mum, two out of the four foundations that make me who I am, are unwell. And despite the fact that they are on the road to recovery, I have found siting in semblance and penning down the chapter extremely challenging. Writing is my life and I dont do it just because I have to but because I want to. Which is why I have always prayed to God to keep me and my life sane, so that I can do justice to my passion and to what I love. And in the light of the recent unforeseen circumstances I would request you to please give me a few days more(3-5 days) for me to comfortably pen down the update which is very crucial to the story and the current chapter is still open so anyone who hasnt caught up on it, can do it now. I have so far been very punctual with the updates and it leaves me heartbroken to have you guys wait for such an important chapter. But please bear with me. And do send in a prayer to the Almighty above for a speedy recovery for my family, for it is the wishes that count most.

Thank you and I will see you all with the update soon, and I hope you can wait a little to read about Arnav Singh get even with life and to find out the very elements of his existence while his love for his Khushi is put to test. And about Khushi mould and battle the challenges that life has thrown on her, so that she can be with her love, for an eternity and beyond. And about Mr & Mrs Singh who fight all odds to emerge a winner, not just for themeless but also for their undying love for each other.

A very very powerful teaser I can surely say that the taress scene is still very fresh in a lot of people's mind I really wonder how you shall portray this one I'm really looking forward to it
