Well to me forced sex is the worst thing to happen to anyone...but it seems most of the arranged marriages suffer that...but even then keeping it the way ASR has to me he seems very selfish...I know not everyone is able to express his feelings or make huge gestures of love...but man who couldn't respect his spouse was never there for her...even when she suffered miscarriage...8 month pregnancy...oh!!!! ...I know it was his loss too...different ppl deal with loss in different way...only redemption for him can be now to support her bring her back to life for she had hit the rock bottom of her life!!!!!!
If not it's high time for khushi to kick his ass and come out of this horrible marriage...And mothers like Garima are far too common in our society...Just when I read stories like this I feel blessed to have a mother who was strong and love for her was her children even she did it on her own while grieving for her soulmate...and a understanding n caring husband from arranged marriage!!!!!!
I respectfully beg to differ on your opinion that mothers like Garima are far too common in our society. It would then mean that every 5 out of 10 mothers are like that. I'm pretty sure there are good decent young men too out there who respects their spouse 's wishes and concerns and prepared to wait till the other halves feel comfortable to consummate the marriage. But mothers like Garima (if and if Garima suggests something unlikely and vile like marrying off Payal to Arnav, OR waiting to get payal married off and then ask khushi to reveal about her condition which seems more plausible), exists mostly in the extremely traditional families of India, whether rich or middle-classed. That's based on my observances. And in some rare cases, in nuclear families like khushi's for instance. Otherwise, no mother in her sane mind would put her daughter's condition at stake and give all the priority on her husband's reputation in such a sensitive case as this.Well to me forced sex is the worst thing to happen to anyone...but it seems most of the arranged marriages suffer that...but even then keeping it the way ASR has to me he seems very selfish...I know not everyone is able to express his feelings or make huge gestures of love...but man who couldn't respect his spouse was never there for her...even when she suffered miscarriage...8 month pregnancy...oh!!!! ...I know it was his loss too...different ppl deal with loss in different way...only redemption for him can be now to support her bring her back to life for she had hit the rock bottom of her life!!!!!!

I'm happy for you that you have been blessed with such a loving family!
Hey, please don't be sorry! In fact I am sorry if i have sounded too opinionated in my comment, as i didnt know that your opinions were based on your friends' experiences. And thank you for taking my comment in such a positive way😊 (few people would do that nowadays). I actually said what I have had observed around me. In the same way, you voiced out your opinions based on the experiences of your friends and your encounters with such mothers. In our society, where marital rape is unrecognized by the law and as a topic ignored by most people , such cases do happen where girls are thought to be fragile and tried to be subjugated by their spouses. I'm sorry to know about your friends. I can only hope that they have the willpower to overcome their situations and come out strong. It's actually wonderful how this story has led us to contemplate on some of the real life conditions in our society.
Well I am very sorry for my comment on mums...it's just I had a very close encounter with few of these selfish mums so felt a bit bitter...I agree I have no right to say that, it's really horrible thing to say...thank you very much...I guess I read the story n just poured bitterness I felt...without thinking...I am ashamed...N about arranged marriages I agree about having sensible men around...but I guess this story rubbed me wrong way and reminded me of few horrible experiences I have heard from my friends...but sorry again...
