The office hustle bustled with a new found zest as the news wafted across of their boss on a leave today, courtesy; his trembling health. His sister had called his PA a few minutes ago strictly instructing not to bother ASR since he has a temperature and neither any project should be passed to home not any email unless someone is dying.

Within a quarter of a second, the news spread like a wild fire lifting the atmosphere bright in the office.

Some employees ate to their stomach's capacity in the office while some sneaked out to chat with their beloved ones.

A pair of fiery eyes looked around the area with a rage inside him.

"What the hell is happening here?"

And the employees froze so did the time.

"Scram!" Arnav banged his hand on the table beside him loudly which made everybody scatter to their places as he walked angrily to his cabin upstairs muttering something under his breath. "I have no idea why did i hire such monkeys at work."

"Arnav..i want to talk to you." Ayan said as entered the cabin when Arnav sat in a foul mood talking to a client.

Ayan Gupta, age: 25, COO of AR. When AR was in the baby stages, both Ayan along with ASR had developed it to what it was today. Their relation was more than what two brothers share, a bond too deep.

Arnav kept his receiver down hearing a tinge or seriousness in his tone though his head ached at certain places.

"Yes?"

"It's a little personal. I hope I'm not breaking the rules.. I have my sister flown from America day before and she's looking for jobs in Delhi. I've not told her but the brother in me wants her in front of my eyes now since we have no one apart from each other. The interviewing part of the newcomers fall under me but I want you to have her interviewed Arnav. I assure you, she is fully capable of the job since she have a major in Finance with many internships and jobs but i dont want others to think that I'm being biased..you know."

"That won't be the problem Ayan, you are praising her means she would be totally capable of joining AR and i believe you dont even have to take her interview, its your company too Ayan. But if you really want it, I'd first like to have a look at her CV and then we can give her a call?"

"Sure, thanks Arnav, i just dont want people to comment on her thats it." opening the lid of his laptop, he turned it towards Arnav. "Here it is.."

"By the way did you have your lunch? I was going to a cafe nearby, wanna come?" He asked before going out.

"Sure why not. Give me a few minutes."

He went nodding, to handle other matters happily while Arnav studied her CV. A sudden shrill of a call interrupted his cheery mood and watching the name of the person on the screen made his smile more curvy. He pressed the green button and before he could even keep the phone on his ear fully, loud voices blasted his ears. He walked to his cabin and sat down enabling the loud speakers.

"Aya.." Arnav stopped at his door which was open and he could hear a melodious voice dancing in the air.

"Ayan, what is aayi telling? Did you go on a date with Shaina again last night? Trust me, that wicked nosy bimbo sniffs everything for money."

"I didn't go Khushi. I know her motives but i had to go with her to a meeting and she tricked me on a dinner the way back, women!" He shook his head twitching his nose remembering the time he had spent with her staring at her face..no, not at all in a romantic sense but wondering how would she look after the layers of makeup would have been peeled off her face.

"Dont blame all the women for her wicked nose. And Oh oh.my.frikkin.butts Ayu! You need to take me to the mall today before those Hot Pink Heels go out of stock and i will have to walk flat on my soles. I called for for the same and ayi had to remind me about Shaina just now. Leave that, please come home."

"I'm afraid that you will have to do exactly the later part. I cannot take an early leave and I'm certainly very guilty for that. My baby sister just came and i cant even spent some quality time with her."

"Your boss doesn't give you an early leave? You definitely need to make a good use to your thumb. Have you ever seen that vein ticking at the base of your boss's throat? It's called the Jugular vein. Oh freaking butts! I'm not asking you to eye him literally but when you press it, it throbs more, the more you press it, the more it throbs and Tadaa! You eventually know the drill..and don't worry, once he's out of the way, we can go for the heels.."

Arnav choked on the words regaining his senses back from the haze of her voice. Who knew such a voice could utter the words of catastrophy and bloodshed.

"Khushi? So much just for your heels?" He asked incredulously. "However I cannot kill him, the company will collapse and i will come on the roads."

"You are the COO Ayu, you can easily handle after him."

"Not an easy task Khushi, not too easy." He said sadly as if they killing plan was actually going to be followed making Arnav look at him being amusingly shocked.

"Whatever Ayu! Anyway, did i tell you about your future BIL, I didn't, your bad! I met that lass at the Newyork airport lounge, I have absolutely no idea at which airport did he land after that by God's Grace." She said tugging her lip with a passionate longing in her eyes.

"You found another bakra to the list?"

"Yeah we didn't actually meet. I saw him from behind and the security checking him. And you know what? I got jealous of him. Yos, i did get jealous of the security lad! I wish i was there instead of him running my hands through his broad shoulders to his musculine torso and.."

"That's it thats it, i got it. I understand that he was very handsome and i want no more details of his manliness."

"I wish i could make him meet you"

"You are kidding right?"

"No I'm not. He was hot!"

"You find every other guy hot Khushi."

"So what? This one was really a piece to eye upon Ayu.. well, you should go now and act a goat to your boss while i tend my growling stomach. See ya at evening brother!"

"Goat? Really? I really do hire animals at work." Arnav smirked.

"Bye Khushi take care."

He waited for another few seconds before giving a knock and going inside.

"Ayan."

"You came so soon?"

"Yeah, my stomach growls." He grinned. "By the way, when did you tell your sister come?"

"Yesterday. Why?"

"You can go home after lunch and take a leave for tomorrow dude, after she gets done with her interview. Go have some time out. It's not necessary for you to stay long every day you know. You might even want to go to shopping with her."

He stopped as he saw Ayan looking at him with his eyebrow ducked down. "Oh, just a guess!" He shrugged.

"I don't know how are you growing to be so good at guessing?" He went out shaking his head and behind him, Arnav phewed.

Stuffing the key into the lock, he pressed it open coming inside his home. The lights were dimmed and he wondered what was his sister doing. Peeking inside her room, he saw her snoring lightly under the covers.

He sat by her careful not to wake her up and ran his hand through her hair affectionately.

She was so enthusiastic to buy her new heels and when he is home, she lays here snoring, he smiled watching she shopper in his hand. He had gone with Arnav to the mall after lunch to give his sister a surprise, he hoped she likes it.

She was a lion from outside but a kitten from inside. A bug would always tug her insides to do something adventurous and he didn't even want to give a thought to her type of adventures. He chuckled again. She was never used to sit quietly; either she was chasing girls for him or chasing boys for herself to have a more adventurous life in her already adventurous world. But a single thing goes wrong and she'd hide behind him. Though they were twins, he was a father to her and she was a mom to him, as simple as that.

She resembled their mom a lot. And this was the only time he could have a long gaze at her having his fill reminiscing those childhood memories and naughty deeds.
