Chapter 4:
The scenes of his Di lying unconscious plugged to a hundred machines were still haunting his mind. All he could think was about his Di. His di was the only family he was left. This angered him very much. He couldn't save his sister. She was hurt again.
Like before.
He suddenly had a urge to destroy everything. To kill that bas***d. How dare he? Toying with Arnav Singh Raizada's sister. But he controlled. He had to be calm, for his Di.
Anjali di had stopped talking. Her only answers consists of yes or no. She doesn't talk to her Chhote. She doesn't react on anything. She just stared blankly at the wall or the stone idol(Devi maiyya) who had done nothing for her. She looked lifeless. And all this was too much too bear for Arnav.
The doctor said it was the result of shock and medications she was received. She will be normal again. But only Arnav knew how deep was her pain. They had lost their parents, their home and their hopes that day. His Di's wedding had broken that day. That day they had first tasted the pain of betrayal, the pain of losing someone and how cruel the world was. All the pain was once again triggered back in their lives all because of that snake.
Arnav wished had he killed him before then nothing would have happened. His Di would be smiling nor he would have been married. They both have been happy in their small world.
But it was all farce.
He was married. His wife was sitting beside him.
His wife. Even the word made him cringe. But if she even brings a smile on his Di's face then it was hell worth it.
He will endure anything for his Di.
His train of thoughts were broken by a sudden loud sob. His wife was crying he noticed for the first time. He was irritated as hell as he had clearly mentioned to her mother that it was a marriage of convenience. He had wanted a biddable wife. They shouldn't expect anything from his side. He didn't forced them. Then why the f*** she damn crying?
Even her mother had agreed to this match, because she wanted security and a respectable family for her daughter. She wanted her to have a respectable life after that Shyam fiasco away from Lucknow. Maybe his wife don't know about this. But to hell with her.
She was his wife of convenience. She married him to her own accord. And last he was NO Monster.
"Why are you crying so much? Dammit." He asked not having the patience to hear her sobs. Looking at her for the first time and that was when he noticed she was a beauty.
"Hum...wo..." She mumbled inaudibly. Looking in her lap playing with the border of her saree. She couldn't answer him because she don't know what to say. She was so lost. Whether she was crying because of her family or the reason was Amma's disappointment or she missing her babuji. (I-I...)
"What?" He asked thrusting his handkerchief in her hands.
She wiped off her tears with it but didn't looked at him or answered him. This made him furious. Here he was talking to her and she ignoring him.
If Khushi Singh Raizada should have known Arnav Singh Raizada, she would have known about one thing ASR was famous for.
His Temper.
The car suddenly came to an screeching halt.
Khushi looked at the road. It was deserted. She looked to her husband for answer but he was already out of the car. In a moment he had pulled her out of his car too.
"A-aap kya k-kar rhe hai?" She stammered. "Aur h-hum y-yaha kyu ruke hai?" (What are you doing? Why have we stopped here?)
But Arnav didn't listened as he pinned down her to the car by her wrists. Stepping close to her but not touching her, he dipped his head low to hers.
"Nhiii." She shrieked. Suddenly afraid of what he was doing. (Nooo.)
And he bitterly asked. "Darr lag raha hai tummhe?" (Are you afraid?)
Closing her eyes she nodded.
"ANSWER ME DAMMIT IN WORDS." He shouted.
"Haan." She cried. He don't know why but he liked her so helpless against him. Maybe it was the red saree she was wearing he thought. (YES)
"Good. Next time remember what happens when you don't answer me." He stated tauntingly but the fire in his wife's eyes made him stop. She looked at him like she wanted to burn him alive. Her face was flushed red with anger. It made him forget everything.
Desire overcame conscious. He had to have her. He have to taste her.
NOW.
And he slammed his lips on her crimson ones.
His hands let her wrists go and roamed on her waist. She felt so soft to his rough hands. His hands roamed up and down on her back. He was so lost in her. He felt he hadn't tasted anything more sweet before. He wanted to forget every pain of his life and just stay there, like this with her. Kissing her.
Then came the reality.
SLAP.
His left cheek stung with pain.
That chit of a girl. Slapping Arnav Singh Raizada. How dare she? He will show her the consequences of slapping ASR. He furiously kissed her lips again and again. Her small fists punching his chest didn't stopped him. He trailed his kiss from her lips to down her neck. Sucking and biting, leaving love bites.
Touching her body everywhere. Roaming his hands without her consent. He punished her. He tried to open her saree but it was pinned.
She was disgusted. He had forced her. Not once caring what she wanted. Her self respect was saying to run away from here as fast as she can. But where will she go? What had her Amma and babuji even saw in him that was worthy?
He doesn't respect his wife. He hadn't once tried to talk. He took advantage of her because he was a man and she women. Just for showing he was superior than her.
Why did you do this with me, Amma? She asked in her mind. What crime that I had committed that you made me marry this man? Why Devi maiyya? Why?
He was going to let her go when he remembered she hadn't told him why she was crying. "Why were you crying?" He asked again.
Khushi didn't answered back. He had no rights on her. And what further he can do? He had already destroyed her self-respect. She just stood there staring her feet not even blinking.
"ANSWER ME DAMMIT." He shouted digging his nails in her arms. "You should know I go to extreme lengths if I don't get what I want."
"Aap iss se bhi neeche ghir sakte hai?" She questioned. Meeting his gaze. (You can do something more cheap than this?)
His fists clenched and he closed his eyes for a moment to calm himself. He can do anything in his temper and certainly this girl was no pliant girl. She was a firecracker, who can bring worst in him.
"Haan. Mein Kisi bhi haad tak ghir sakta Hu. So, you better watch your tongue." With saying that he got back to his car on driver's seat. (Yes. I can go to any length.)
Sitting in the car when he noticed she was still standing out. "Do you need an invitation? COME INSIDE." He shouted and after a moment she silently followed.
"Fool." He murmured looking at her. If someone thought they can get away with ASR. He will take care of her after they reach Delhi.

Raizada Mansion:
The members of Raizada were all assembled in the dining hall except Anjali. She was sleeping. But everyone knew she too had noticed her something was wrong too. Chhote hadn't come to meet her from last night. Nani and Mami sat with worried looks while Akash stood behind them with his phone. The Prakash brothers constantly supplied water and fruit juice.
The Raizada's hasn't eaten since morning. It was a shock to them that Arnav was missing from last night. There was no phone call or information about his whereabouts. It was night, now. If they didn't get a call from Chotte this night than they were going to do a police complaint.
"Aapan ne Chhote ko call kiya?" Nani asked Akash hundredth time that day. (Did you called Chhote?)
"Ha. Par bhai ka phone switched off hai, dadi." Akash dutifully answered back. (Yes. But his phone is switched off.)
"Bhagwan hi jaane kaun ki nazar lag gyi hai ghar ko." (Only god knows who jinxed our home.)
"You are rights, saasuma." Mami spoke, "Firsts ours bitiyas then ours Arnav bitwas. Somethings iss terriblys wrongs."
Nani had it enough by now. Even after having a talk with Chhote he was doing this stunt. She had only asked Chhote to give consent for marriage. This will definitely bring Anjali bitiya out of her shock state. She will want to participate in the wedding because it was her Chhote's. But does Chhote understood? Here his sister was sick and what if she got to know her brother was missing? What will Anjali bitiya do again.
Like Anjali was reading Nani's thoughts. She walked down with a blank look on her face.
Everyone sweated with fear. Anjali bitiya had become unstable. She doesn't speak doesn't meant she had forgotten her Chhote. She still cared for him.
"Bitiya tum jaag gyi." Nani spoke, "Chalo ab khana kha lo. Om Prakash. Anjali bitiya ke liye khana laga dijiye." Nani tried to act normally so was Mami who went inside the kitchen. Akash started typing on his phone not looking at Anjali's face. (Dear you are awake. Now let's eat dinner. OP serve dinner to Anjali.)
"Chhote kaha hai?" (Where is Chhoye?)
No sound could be heard. Everything inside RM went deathly silent. This was the first time Anjali had talked a full sentence after that unfortunate event. This was a moment of happiness but no one could smile.
"Wo...wo Anjali bitiya Chhote office ke kaam se bhahar gye hai." Nani lied. (Chhote has gome for some office work.)
"Jhoot." Anjali easily caught the lie. (Lie.)
She started walking towards the stairs to her room. That's when they heard a familiar loud shout and everyone sighed with relief.
"HARI PRAKASH."
Hari Prakash ran to the front door. So did Anjali. Nani and mami along with Akash was also behind them.
They all wanted to see Arnav.
But Arnav had a surprise of his own. He had brought his wife with him.
The doors opened and everyone stood like stone. The Raizada's kept staring at the girl in red saree with Arnav. She was wearing mangalsutra and sindoor on her head. She looked young and beautiful.
Arnav looked bored. He had his hand on her waist. And he held her against his body clutching her body tightly. She was squirming. It was clear that the girl was uncomfortable. But Arnav didn't cared a bit.
"Meet my wife, Khushi Singh Raizada." Arnav announced in finality. He then leaned on her and the girl tried to move her head in another direction. But Arnav grabbed her face roughly with his hand and soundly placed a kiss on the cheek of the girl. A collective gasp was heard.
"Aren't you greeting your in laws, khushi?" Arnav asked so sweetly that the Raizada's surely thought they were dreaming. Their Arnav was anything but sweet. The poor girl turned tomato red and stammered, "Na-Nameste."
No one spoke for a moment. And it certainly didn't took long for Nani to know what has transpired. After all she was the one who started this mess. But how could Chhote be so thick in head? She expected him to consent for marriage, only. And what about the poor girl he married? Surely no one in their true mind will marry Chhote after knowing his nature.
And still here he stood married without their presence. Now how will Anjali bitiya react?
Her eyes turned to see Anjali bitiya. She wasn't saying anything.
