OK since some1 else pointed out the same, let me clarify a few points. I was on a long break from IF after IPK shut down & started writing again only the past few mths. So obviously i was not there wen similar bashing happened. If i had been active then i w'd ve defo posted something similar at that time as well.

TBH I am never fan of any actress. Whether its movies or TV shows i watch it ONLY & ONLY for the male lead. How ever tat doesnt mean that i dont acknowledge the talent of the other actors in a show. I personally liked the acting of even the supporting cast in IPK. I tried watching a few other shows but simply gave up coz the acting was not upto the mark. This show was not grt or unique. However it was the acting of all those wonderfully talented actors which made me fall in love with this show. In fact I cant watch a hero no matter how handsome if his acting sucks. Frankly wen the show started Barun's acting was avg. But slowly his emoting improved esp aft the rain hug scene & by the end of few more episodes it was top notch. I still remember the Raksha Bandan episode wen he searches & finds Anji. I had real tears in my eyes in that scene & not just him even Daljeet had acted well in that scene. That is why this show ll always be special to me. Coz these actors brought these characters to life.

So to answer ur quest i frankly dont care bt wat happened in the past in this forum. But for me I will always wish success for each & every actor of the show. Of course I am a Barun fan so his success might be closer to my heart but that doesnt mean i dont wish & pray for the best for the other actors. Its sad that not just BS & SI, i dont find any of the others from the IPK cast as well in other shows & i wonder why. I liked the actor who played Mami, Nani, Bua & NK. So hoping to see all these folks in a good show (non Saas-Bahu of course) where they can showcase their talent & grow in their career 👏

^^ok..but just out of curiosity - why aren't you ever a fan of an actress?

Just some harmless virtual flirting & drooling not to mention fangirling 😆 I cant drool over a girl now can i 😃 So yeah i fangirl over male actors like Clooney, Hugh Jackman, Kamalhasan, Fassbender, Tom Cruise & many more...

Also I prefer more of horror/action/espionage/SciFi etc. Such genres ve more scope obviously for male leads 😊

Bang on Lolitapawar! While I agree that one party has to walk the high road, but don't know if either party is ready to take the first step!!! The hypocricy here is blatant. When the ML is bashed you see a flurry of peace making posts, but when FL is bashed, people turn a blind eye! Nobody from the peace squad bothered to say a word when she was bashed during her other shows especially Jhalak! I saw similar peace making posts during EJ too because the ML was criticized. Some things don't change! 😆 but it is a good idea to expose those double standards.
While I love IPK for the acting of the entire cast, I love to watch shows for the FL only. It is The FL that attracts me to a show. IMO, Sanaya & the actress that played Mamiji stood out in IPK more than others.

BTW i guess no1 stopped u frm posting something similar when ur fav actors were bashed rt? And i am sure many w'd ve supported such anti-bashing post in the past as well. So y so much bitterness & resentment. If u find pleasure in bashing ML for wat ever reasons, go ahead if tat really makes u happy. But all i can say is tat its a weird way of finding happiness. We get more happiness wen v spread positivity. Try that for a change! It helps me all the time!

Fans always react emotionally when something bad happens and haters makes best out of it and everyone thinks they are right in their places.

Two groups needs to reach an agreement not to interfere in the matters of actors who do not like in the future is the only solution to end this mess.

Seriously i find it strange many times. For eg i am a huge Sachin & Kohli fanatic. There ll b ppl who hate them so much that they wont find time to praise their own icons like Lara, Dhoni etc but spend more time in bashing the ppl whom they claim to hate. Arrey yaar if u hate them y do u even spend time thinking or talking bt them. Why dont u ignore. There r so many male leads on indian tv whom i dont like. You wont find me searching for threads/posts on them & then go bashing them. Some ppl r seriously messed up

I did read your reply and my opinion is still the same. Nobody has stopped me from making peace seeking posts, but I find it hypocritical to make such posts only when my favorite is bashed. Peace making posts make sense only if made by people who are clearly neutral viewers who love and respect both actors and are not inclined towards one over the other. I dont find any more pleasure in bashing as I find amusement in the double standards of some fans. A real neutral fan is one who agrees bashing is wrong no matter who is being bashed and will appeal to the members from both parties to refrain from bashing.

Much needed post!!!! Thanks for inducing some sanity...
