PART 20 continuation

Khushi recalled the night at sheesh mahal .

When Khushi reached Sheesh Mahal that evening , Arnav was waiting there for her.He looked very handsome in a light blue T-shirt and white jeans.It's the first time she saw him in casuals. He looked irresistible and dangerous to her then.He was looking at her keenly when she was moving towards him through the steps of the entrance.She reached near him and they stared at each other .For a moment she thought that he was going to strangle her.It was Kajal's voice made them aware of the surroundings.

Kajal:Samantha, I'll be around.Give me a call when you are ready to leave

When she left,Arnav began to walk slowly through the corridor which led to the stairs to the first floor.He stopped and looked back.She followed him.They reached a room which Khushi didn't see earlier.It was a cozy room with beautiful Rajasthani furniture.She stood near the door.

Arnav:Get inside

Khushi startled when she heard his voice.

Arnav:So you are going to get engaged.And you wanted to see me.Why?

Khushi:I ...wanted.. to ask you why you have spoiled my name ?

Arnav:you deserved it..

Khushi:How can you be so cruel to me?

Arnav:I'm not cruel as you

Khushi:Me cruel?

Arnav:You were so sweet to me and you knew very well that I cared for you..still I saw you with that swine..

Khushi:No, Mr.Raizada..you are wrong...you are absolutely wrong

Arnav:I can believe what I saw

Khushi:No..you can't...

Arnav:Now..why did you want to see me ..tomorrow is your engagement and you want to meet me secretly..that means you are going to cheat again another man

Khushi:stop it...I'm going to get engaged to Rohit

Arnav whistled:So I was right..he moved towards her and pulled her towards him...So you wanted to spend time with me before getting engaged.So you are a cheater...What do you want from me?

Khushi pulled him away

Khushi:Don't you have shame to talk like this?I'm going away.

Arnav:Not before I get what I want.and he pulled Khushi towards him and kissed her on her cheeks ,neck and while pressing his lips on hers, she managed to be free from his grip and slapped him hard on his face.He was shocked and could not believe what happened.Khushi was also astonished at her behaviour.she was breathing heavily.

Arnav looked with blood red eyes to her.

Khushi was frightened but she said aloud:I'm a fool to come here.I wanted to tell you that I don't want to marry Rohit because I could not forget you

For a moment there was silence.Arnav was standing still.Khushi continued:I can never imagine any one else in my life.You cruel...heartless man...you are a devil

She sat on the floor crying bitterly.

Arnav stared at her .Slowly he went near her, touched her head.She looked up and rose to her feet.They stared at each other and hugged and cried.How long they stood like that they don't know..Khushi's phone rang.It was Kajal.

Khushi took her phone and told Kajal to leave that she would come later

Arnav:Samantha..I can't believe.

Khushi briefed what happened between Rohit and her that day.

Arnav:I was blind with jealousy...I can't imagine you with another man.I called you several times.why didn't you answer?

Khushi:Why should I after all the havoc you have done to me?I have one question to you :Why did you come now to meet me?You could have avoided my request.

Arnav kept quiet.

Khushi:Why are you not answering?

Arnav came near and kissed her on her forehead.He asked :Why do you not want to marry Rohit?

Khushi kept quiet

Arnav raised her chin and looked into her eyes.Then sofly pressed his lips on hers.She shivered at his touch .She moved away from him.

Arnav: I knew that you cared.I was going to propose to you that evening

Khushi turned to him with surprise:

Arnav:Yes Samantha..but a moment's mistake spoiled every thing.

Khushi:I would die than allowing another man to marry me

Arnav:I would kill him

Khushi :I had doubts whether you would come or not.But Believed that you would come

Arnav:And if I didn't come?

Khushi:I had decided to end my life.

Arnav:Samantha...He gave such a hug that she became breathless.My love..how can you?He looked into her eyes and told:Come with me

He led her to the pooja room in the Mahal.He took her hand and moved towards the idols kept there.

Khushi:What are you going to do?

Arnav opened the small box kept there,took sindoor from it and put it on her forehead.

Khushi could not speak.the sound or words were not coming.She was stunned and was staring at Arnav.Arnav was looking with love and pride at her.

Khushi's sound was feeble:Arnav Ji, what have you done?

Arnav:I have done what is to be done

Khushi touched her forehead and was looking at the sindoor in her hands.

She could not believe.

It started to rain heavily outside.They could hear the thunder and lightning.

She slowly moved towards him and asked:You know the importance of this in the life of a girl?

Arnav whispered:That you have become my wife.

Khushi:Are you serious?

Arnav:Do you want me to prove further?And he slowly put his hands around her waist and pressed her against him.

Khushi's mind was dancing with excitement and happiness.

Arnav:Now no one would dare even to come near you.After coming from London I would legally marry you.

Arnav continued in a husky voice:Now, what is your gift on this wedding night?

Khushi:Not now, after the real marriage

Arnav:Really?But I want some thing to remember till I return from London and also I want a compensation for beating me...

Khushi was very shy to look at him.She slowly raised her head touched his cheeks with her finger tips whereshe slapped him and kissed him there

Arnav:Not enough

Khushi kissed him on his eyes.

Arnav:No..not enough

Khushi rested her head on his chest and said:I want to remain like this forever and want to listen to your heart beats and slowly she pressed her lips on his chest which sent a tremor through him.He could not control himself.He picked her in his arms and went to his room.He laid her on the bed .Khushi hugged him and told :No...Arnav..ji...not now...

Arnav was kissing all over her face.He untied her dori and kissed her neck.She was lying her eyes half closed but knew that they were doing some thing wrong.But she could not object. He slowly removed her ear rings and kissed her ears and neck.

Khushi managed to get up.Arnav..ji..No...

Arnav asked in a husky aroused tone:What happened?

Khushi:No...Arnav ji..we are not married ..we have to complete the rituals

Arnav was too angry:..what's wrong with you?

Khushi: I have to go...

Arnav:Khushi...I don't understand you

Khushi:No..Arnav ..ji...Please try to understand...

Arnav:Are rituals more important than our love?

Khushi:It's not that Arnav ji..I want to be yours with the blessings of our families

Khushi understood that he was totally annoyed and angry.She put her hands around his neck and pressed her lips on his chin near his lips and said:I am yours forever and I would give myself to you without your asking.

He looked at her innocent face.All his anger swept away.He kissed her eyes.

Khushi:Arnav...ji.let me go.Amma will be waiting.

Arnav:What will you tell her?She will see the sindoor.

Khushi:I'll tell her the truth.

Arnav:I don't know how I can live without seeing you?

Khushi.Me too. Now I got the courage and confidence to stand against my engagement.

Arnav:I'll be back from London within a few days.Then I'll come to your house to claim you.

Khushi:Arnav,ji I'll never forget this night

Arnav:Yes, a spoiled first night.

I'll drop you at home.It was raining heavily.Arnav dropped her that night a little away from her house.Before getting down she told shyly to Arnav:I'll wait for you.She hesitated and then pressed her lips on him which sent waves through him.

At his apartments, Arnav could not sleep that night.

Khushi came back to the present .She hugged her pillow and tried to sleep.She was thinking of the meeting with Arnav the next day.

The next day morning Shashi Gupta was taken to the best multi speciality hospital by Aakash, kishore, Garima and Payal.Arnav had already made all the arrangements and Shashi was thus admitted there.Garima, Payal, Khushi and Buaji decided to take turns to sit with him in the hospital.Arnav had already arranged a full time nurse .Tests started.

After three days doctor reported that it will take minimum three to four months to say anything regarding his recovery.Medicines were started.Garima thanked Arnav for taking care of her husband and once again apologised for her rudeness to him.

The same day Shyam, Anjali and Nani were sitting in the living room and were discussing about the further steps to be taken in case of Arnav's engagement and marriage.Neha was drawing pictures in her book.Arnav was getting ready to go to office.He was late to the office as he woke up very late.He was eager to see Khushi.She told him that she would come to the office in the afternoon after going to hospital with her pappa.

Anjali:Shyam ji...I want to meet her mother and if we wait for the recovery of Khushi's father it will take time.

Nani: I want the marriage to happen at the earliest.Do we have to inform Mr.sen?

Shyam:No..Arnav and Khushi won't like it.Shashi and Garima were looking after her as their own daughter and it is not fair to drag him to the scene now.

Anjali:Shyam ji..I want to tell you some thing regarding Aakash...

Shyam:What is it?

Anjali:We found him talking to the tution teacher Manisha through phone ...in ..a wrong way..some thing is going on between them

Shyam:What?Never,Aakash is not such a person.

Nani:No, damaji, please ask him.

Shyam:I don't believe.

The door bell rang.Hari Prakash opened the door.Manisha appeared.A middle aged lady appeared .Her way of dressing and way of walking were weird.Nani and Anjali didn't approve it.But her coaching was superb.That is why she was appointed as the tutor.But now they wanted to do something to put an end to her entry into the Raizada house.

Anjali and nani looked at each other.She gave a look to Shyam which made him to hurry from there to his room.Aakash and Kishore came from hospital.Anjali and Nani were very tensed .They saw Manisha walking to Neha's study room nearby.Aakash winked at Kishore and went to that room.Anjali and Nani jumped to their feet and looked at each other with a horrified expression.They called:Aakash..come here.

Arnav was coming through the steps and was observing this.Kishore took the paper from the teapoy and was pretending reading.He was trying to control laughing.Arnav looked at them and asked:What happened?They suddenly turned and looked at him.

Anjali lowered her voice:Chote, Aakash is upto something with Manisha.We heard him talking to her secretly yesterday.

Arnav:What.??? And he threw back his head and laughed aloud.Kishore was really shocked and jumped to his feet.It was the first time he heard Arnav laughing.Aakash also joined.

Arnav could not control his laughter.He said through laugh:Di..you are unpredictable.

Anjali and Nani were now very happy to see a happy Arnav after so many years.

Anjali hugged him.

Shyam came down when he heard the laughing.

Arnav:Di..you know your little brother sure played some prank on you.I know with whom he is really in a ...

Aakash:Bhai...please

Nani:No..we want to know.

Arnav:Now a days he is escaping from office and is escorting Pooja and Thanu for shopping and...

Aakash: Bhai...You and Aman Bhai are two villains in my life.

Kishore:Mine too.

Kishore:Wherever we go, whatever we do, they know within seconds.

Kishore tried to escape from there.

Arnav:Your escorting and phone calls to payal are also going on very well.

Arnav hugged Aakash and Kishore and said:Your choice is good.Myself and Aman understood it from the very beginning.But I know that both of you didn't get the green signal.

Anjali tried to pinch the ear of Aakash and Kishore but they escaped to upstairs.

Anjali and Nani were very happy.

Anjali:Oh...How happy I'm today...Shyam ji ,I'm going to start the shopping .

Shyam:Oh...Anju..you have a wardrobe with thousands of costumes..my god..all the ladies are like this.

Arnav:All the ladies in our family will wear different Raizada designs for all our functions of the marriage.

Anjali:When are we going to Khushi's house?

Arnav:At the earliest..you decide and with a smile he went out

Arnav called Khushi.She told that she would be reaching there shortly.Arnav reached office and waited impatiently.He saw her coming through the front door.She was wearing a sea green saree with matching ornaments.Her hair was open and she looked happy and very beautiful..Arnav decided to have fun.He went and sat on his chair.He started to work in his laptop.She entered after knocking.He didn't look up.He took his phone and was calling some body.

Khushi cleared her throat:Arnav..ji

Arnav without looking said:Sit Khushi...

She still stood there.He was talking in the phone in a husky voice:Sure, I'll come.Of course I'll be there tonight for the party.

He cut the phone and turned towards her.

Khushi was looking very annoyed.She asked:Whose...whose..phone was that?

Arnav looked amused.

Arnav:That was one of my old friends...

Khushi:lady?

Arnav:Yes

Khushi stood up.She didn't say anything but turned to go .Her eyes were full of tears.

At that moment Aman knocked and entered. He was not aware that she was there.

Aman:sorry Arnav...

Khushi hurried from there.

Arnav was now shocked and hurried after her.Aman didn't understand anything.

Before Arnav could catch her she went away.

Arnav told Aman to manage, took his car key and left.There was no sign of Khushi.He was in a panic.He called several times and sent message that it was a joke to provocate her.He called payal and told to inform him when she reaches home.

1 hr was over.He called Aman..He called Garima to know whether she reached hospital. Still there was no sign of Khushi .Arnav felt totally helpless and cursed himself and reached home to take Shyam to search for her.He got the shock when he entered his house.She was sitting with Nani and Anjali in the living room.
