Khushi was crying uncontrollably when Arnav left.
Garima:why didn't you tell the reason for not filing the case?Why?
Khushi:I know that he won't do it Amma.That is why I begged that day to Rohit's father not to do it.
Garima:He may do any thing.
Khushi:No..He didn't kill Rohit.
Garima:This was what you told that day also.
Khushi:Amma, we love each other .He loves me very much .Still I'm not marrying him because all of you consider him as a murderer and I know that he has done a serious mistake due to which our life is ruined.

Anjali and Nani were waiting impatiently.One by one they entered the house except Arnav and Aman.Anjali saw the pale faces of her husband and brother.
Anjali:Shyam ji what happened?
Shyam:It's a complicated matter Anjali
Anjali:Tell me, shyam ji ..I want to know...
Shyam:Anjali, they.. don't want ..an alliance with Arnav.
Shyam:I'll tell you every thing..but you should have the courage to take it.
Anjali was now more tensed:Tell me...
Shyam briefed every thing.
Anjali became so shocked that she behaved a little vioent:Chote..where is chote..i want to see him..My chote won't do it...aakash..he won't do it...Nani..I want to see him.
Nani could not bear all this.She tried to make her calm.Shyam and aakash were trying their level best .But she was crying helplessly.

After dropping Shyam ,Aakash , and Kishore ,Arnav and Aman drove back.Arnav could not control himself now and his eyes were filled with tears. Arnav spoke through tears:Aman, I've done a terrible mistake to Khushi.It was the publicity in the news paper that ruined every thing.
Aman:Impulsive actions always do some damage in life.
Arnav:I want to talk to her Aman.I'm going back to her house.I didn't want to continue my talk to her in the presence of Jeeja ji , Aakash and Kishore.
Aman:No..Arnav, today you are not going back.
Arnav:I want to know whether she considers me as a murderer.
Aman:No..she doesn't.other wise she won't say that she loves you.
Arnav:I know but I want to hear it from her.
He continued:I'm not going to give up.It is very tragic that Rohit is no more but that he was hit by AR vehicle is a cooked up story.If such a thing happened we would have been aware of it.But we have to find out who is behind the accusation and what was the actual fact.But Aman It's because of me that Khushi is suffering.Khushi didn't like to get engaged to Rohit.Whether Rohit died or not she would never have got married to him.
Aman suddenly pressed the brake :He turned to Arnav and asked:How do you know that?
Arnav:I know
Aman:Are you hiding anything from me?
Arnav:I met Khushi the day before the engagement.
Aman:What?
Arnav:This was the only thing I hid from you.
Arnav:So you knew every thing that happened in Khushi's house.
Arnav:No, we didn't discuss it.
Aman:But you were in London know?
Arnav: I'll tell you later.I'm feeling very tired and I want to drink today Aman.Drive to your apartments.
While having the drinks Arnav said:I want to forget every thing.I can't even imagine Khushi getting engaged to another man.I think I'm going insane.
Aman:But Arnav, I want to know why you came from London and met her?How none of us was aware of it?
Arnav was recalling a heavy rainy day ..the feeling of her lips on his cheeks...and her face on his chest.
Arnav didn't answer.He drank and drank and fell asleep.

Khushi was also recalling the rainy day...she still felt his lips all over her face and ...his hands were removing her ear rings...
She couldn't think it more and couldn't sleep.

Arnav woke up very late that morning.Aman had already left leaving note to a him:"please give a call when you are awake"
He saw several missed calls.More than 20 missed calls of Di,Aakash and 3 missed calls of Khushi.
Arnav called Anjali.
Anjali:Chote..where are you..I want to see you..Please come home.Arnav felt guilty for making her cry.
Arnav:Di, I'm okay, I'm coming home.
Then he called Aakash, Aman and Shyam.
Aman:When do we go to Lucknow?
Arnav:Will go today evening.Jeeja ji will come with us.Before that I want to meet Khushi.
Aman:please don't go to their house.
Arnav:I'm going there Aman.And cut the phone.

Garima was too angry with Khushi.Khushi was not opening the door of her room and was not ready to talk to them.She shouted:Don't call me.Leave me alone.
Garima:After all why should you obey me?Who am I to you?
Then within a few minutes she opened the door and came out.
Buaji:Maharani opened the door.
Garima: You have now proved that you care more for that devil than your family
Khushi:You can't say that amma.I promised to you that I will never ever care for him and will never go to him.
Garima:When you joined in his office I thought that , as you said, you will take revenge on him.
Khushi:I couldn't
Garima:You remember, because of you your jeeji's life is spoiled.
Payal:Amma, not because of her.
Garima:Yes, because of her.It is because she gave wrong signal to him that he was attracted to her.There were so many girls in the office.Why he didn't go after them?
Khushi:I loved him Amma and he loved me very much.
The reply was a tight slap on her face by Garima.
A sound from the door shocked them."Don't touch her".
They turned to see Arnav standing there.Khushi ran and hugged him. Arnav hugged her and touched her cheek where Garima had hit her.
He slowly disengaged himself and went near Garima.:Don't you dare to touch her.
Khushi:No Arnav Ji,she has every right even to kill me.
Arnav:I'm taking her with me.You do whatever you can but you are not going to see her again.
Khushi:No,Arnav ji,please.I won't come.
Arnav was angry now:Why ,you consider me a murderer?
Khushi:No..
Garima:Khushi...
Khushi:Please go, Arnav ji, please.
A furious Arnav turned and left .
He drove for hours.His phone rang several times.He went to an open space, got down from the car and broke down.He ,Arnav singh Raizada, never cried like this before.Even during his mother's death, he couldn't cry out .He stood there for a long time and at last returned home.
At home all were waiting for him.Anjali went and hugged him.He stood expressionless.She was asking this and that.But he didn't answer.
Nani:chote, Where were you?
Shyam:Nani, Anjali..please leave him alone
Arnav:Jeeja ji, I want to talk to you.
Arnav:Jeeja ji , as you know,we are leaving to Lucknow today evening.
Shyam: I know, but certain things in the incident are not matching.I want to know every thing in detail from Khushi.I think, Arnav, we will postpone our journey .First we have to meet Khushi and then will go to Lucknow.We ll ask her to come here.
Arnav:No, Jeeja ji.Her mother won't send her.
Kishore:There is a way.Payal and Khushi ji go to temple on every Thursday.
Nani:How do you know that?
Kishore was now embarassed:I know.He looked desperately at Aakash.Aakash gave a threatening look.
Shyam:So?
Kishore:I'll meet them and will bring them here.
Shyam:Payal won't allow.
Kishore:Leave it to me.
Every one looked at him astonishingly.But none of them made any comment.
Thus On Thursday morning, Kishore brought Khushi and Payal to Raizada house.
The door bell rang.All except Arnav were waiting for them there.
It was Anjali who opened the door and invited them inside.Khushi's eyes were searching for Arnav.Nani asked them to have breakfast.
Payal: We want to go home fast. Amma will scold and beat us if we are late.
Kishore:Beating?
Payal:Yes, she often becomes very furious after papa's incident.Now she is afraid that Ar..Arnav sir..will..take Khushi..away.
Arnav didn't mention about him going to Khushi's house except to Aman.
Aakash:Don't worry, we will manage.
Khushi was impatient now.He was not seen anywhere there.
Nani led them to dining hall.As every one was seated around the table, Arnav entered ,looked at khushi and occupied the seat near her.She was very much aware of the intoxicating smell of his perfume which always haunted her in the night.
Shyam started the conversation casually.He asked them about their child hood , school, college.They saw Payal very cool in answering the questions and Khushi very uncomfortable.She was not looking at any one.
After break fast every one stood up except Khushi and Arnav because Arnav was holding her hand beneath the table.She tried to get up but failed.when others left Arnav said:100 days are not over,but you have already confessed your love..now I'll marry you within one month.
Khushi:No...
Arnav:yes..Next month ,on this date, you will be Mrs.Arnav singh Raizada.
Khushi:No..never
Arnav was angry:Why ?Did you love Rohit?What did you say on that night when you came to see me?The very next day you got engaged.You allowed another man to put ring on your finger?
Khushi looked at him with tears filled eyes:No..you understood the situation from amma know?
Arnav:What about the sindoor I put on your fore head?You forgot that?
Khushi:Does any one know?
Anjali came there searching for them.She saw Khushi with tears.
Anjali:Chote, what is this?You are making her cry.
She took Khushi with her.Arnav followed them.
Now all were in the living room.Neha was watching cartoons.
Shyam:I want to clarify certain matters.Khushi please tell me exactly what happened?Did both of you see Rohit's body?Where are his parents now?Who told you that he was hit by AR vehicle?
It was Payal who answered.
Payal:yes, we saw his body.His parents are still there.We don't know who told them about AR vehicle.
Shyam:Do you think that Arnav has done it?
Payal hesitated:We don't want to believe but circumstances force us so.
Anjali:Chote will never do that.Khushi ji, do you think so?
Khushi looked at Arnav:He will do any thing ..but he cannot kill.
Aman:Then why can't you marry him?
Payal:She promised Rohit's parents that she will never have any contact with Arnav sir and family.And Amma made her promise that whatever happens, she will never go back to Arnav sir.
Aman:when did it happen?
Payal hesitated:When she went to meet Arnav sir the day before the engagement
Every one except Aman jumped to their feet.Nani was standing wide eyed.
Arnav was trying to hide his emotions.
Aakash:What is all this?I don't understand anything.

Shyam:Khushi, please tell us every thing,If you love Arnav, you have to clear his name in front of your family members.
Khushi looked at Arnav.She could n't read his mind.But he nodded. So she said:When the news about my ...relation with Arnav ji came in the paper..actually I couldn't believe it.He was angry with me,I know.But I thought,how can he give such a news and spoil my name?I wanted to meet him personally, I wanted an answer from him.But didn't call him.My mind was full of hate .But Arnav ji called me two days after the incident.He just said :I want to meet you.I was too angry that I shouted at him.He called me again and said:Come to sheesh Mahal today.I want to talk to you..I told him not to call me again.He had no idea about what was going on in our house.He didn't ask.But he send a message...she looked at Arnav.
Arnav completed it:If she and Rohit wish for a life together that I will spoil it.it was a threatening message.
Khushi was looking at Arnav when she said all this.He stood up and walked and leaned on the table kept in a corner.His hands were folded.
Anjali was crying:Chote, you did all these?
She continued. Days passed by.As Amma told when Rohit proposed me I didn't agree.Rohit never wanted to marry me but he was obeying both of our parents.He was actually in a dilemma.He thought that, every thing happened because of him.I could not even imagine him as my life partner.And I was afraid of Ar..Arnav ji.Whatever he has done, I could not imagine any one else as my...She stopped
Shyam:Then?
Every one was listening intently.Payal's phone rang.She was terrified.It was her amma.Payal answered:Will reach there Amma within a few minutes.Don't worry.
Khushi continued:I called Kajal and told every thing to her.I wanted to meet Arnav ji before the engagement.I wanted to tell my papa's condition and also I wanted to tell him about jeeji.She told me to call Arnav ji.I called but the call was not going through.She went to AR office in Lucknow to meet Arnav ji but came back and told that he left to London.She collected his number and email ID and gave it to me.I sent a mail to him.Mail was sent .But he didn't answer.So I wrote that my engagement is fixed.The date was also mentioned.I didn't tell with whom.
Still he didn't answer.Two days before the engagement I got a call from him from India.He told me to meet him in Sheesh mahal .I was very afraid to go alone to meet him.Kajal made a plan.She told my Amma that she was taking me to the beauty parlour the day before the engagement. I went with Kajal to Sheesh mahal.But I made a big mistake.I forgot to take my mobile.It was lying on my bed.I remembered when I almost reached the Mahal.I was too tensed about meeting Arnav ji and about my mobile.
Kajal dropped me there and waited.I saw Arnav ji standing on the steps of the entrance.He looked very angry .Kajal went to see the surroundings of the Mahal reminding me to take care.
Khushi looked at Arnav helplessly.How will she say the rest?
Arnav:she told me every thing regarding her engagement .She told me that her father wishes her to marry Rohit .As her name is spoilt he didn't believe that she would get a good alliance.I lost my temper and told her that I ll kill him .And ..and we shouted at each other... she slapped me on my face and ...
Now Khushi was embarassed.She looked with shock towards him.
Arnav continued:Then she left.
Payal:I saw her phone ringing when she left.To my horror it was Arnav sir.I saw his message..waiting for you at sheesh mahal.I could not believe.I was too angry.I didn't tell that to any one at home.I hid her phone and waited for her with fear and anxiety.It started to rain heavily.There was thunder and lightning.I hour after she left Amma got a phone call from some one that he saw Khushi going to Sheesh Mahal.She became violent in such a way that she broke almost every thing in Khushi's room.My father was lying on bed and was asking the source of sound coming from her room.I told that some thing broke in the wind.Buaji and me tried to control her.
Khushi came back alone .she was wet ,her eyes were red after crying and to our horror we saw sindoor on her forehead.
Arnav was standing cool.But others were sitting as though they got a slap from some one.
Nani was very angry now:Khushi, what happened?
Khushi answered quietly:Arnav ji put sindoor on my forehead and ...
Arnav: Nothing more ..I went back to London the very next day and decided to come back the next week and to bring her here as a surprise.
Aman:Arnav, You hid all these from me.Why?
Anjali was sitting like a statue, Aakash and Kishore were excited.
Anjali:Why Arnav you didn't bring her here then?
Khushi:Because the engagement happened the next day morning and I didn't answer Arnav ji's calls. I decided not to meet him again .
Shyam:Arnav, you could have gone to her house.
Arnav:I couldn't get the details of her new residence.I had no idea that she came to Delhi.I started searching for her then onwards.I had no idea about what happened to her.
Anjali now raised her voice:Then why Khushi you agreed for the engagement, you were cheating many people at the same time
Payal:No Anjali di, Khushi can never deny what papa and mamma say.
Kishore:No one can has any right to compel some one for marriage
Khushi:But I can never defy my mama and papa.
Kishore:I'm really losing my temper..I don't under stand..
Khushi:You won't under stand because you are not an orphan.
Arnav: What?
