Yes I understand that I have shown Arnav in complete different avatars in all my previous stories, which included him not having/or talking about his previous relationships which is why I wanted to do something different in this story.

The thing is as beautiful and pure as it would make to have both Arnav and Khushi be each ohers first love, not every love story happens that way.

His relationship with Sonakshi may seem domestic, but the domestic side is only being shown by Sonakshi. He goes to her house, eats the food prepared by her and listens to her constant chatter of words. He doesn't seem to reciprocate this, and the chapter does state Arnav is uncomfortable with the way she speaks to him a wife.

This means that he hasn't given himself emotionally to her at all, which is why as you'll see as the story continues, that it is the emotional bond between Khushi and Arnav which is what bonds them together, not the domestic side. Even in the show, Anjali/Nani/Lavanya and Mami all looked after Arnav domestically [feeding him/giving him juice/ringing him etc], but it is Khushi that gets through to him, that sees that broken Arnav.

Men don't have to just have sex and walk out of the door, they can still stay for a few hours, eat your food and still won't feel anything for you.Arnav walks around naked, sleeps in Sonakshi's bed and still gets up and leaves because there is no emotional attachment.

See, there is a difference between feeding, giving him juice etc...and being comfortable to be in a particular woman's bedroom...in the show, La n Arnav were supposed to start a live-in relation...yet, Arnav had never given her the freedom to be comfortable in his room...and he didnt look comfortable in her house in the one scene that they had shown...even when LA was in Shantivan, it was Khushi who seemed like she owned Arnav;s bedroom...that is the right a wife has on her husband...and his belongings...

similarly, here possible Sonakshi wont have a right on Arnav's bedroom...but him being so so comfortable in her bedroom, to the extent of walking around naked for a couple of days, makes his relation with her more comfortable...more domestic...whether he admits it or not...whether he accepts it or not...even if he is uncomfortable...the point is that he is allowing it himself...he is giving her the right, to see him around being so comfy...he is not maintaining the distance that comes with emotional detachment...

anyways, i hope from next chapter onwards, Arnav atleast willingly wont go to Sonakshi...but i really hope he regrets giving her this much leeway...i am guessing, she wont like Khushi getting close to her Arnav, and will ofcourse use Khushi's knowledge of her closeness to Arnav as a means to separate them...am i right ? I expect her to do so, and then i want to see Arnav really really regret, for getting so comfortable with her...

Infact, i think even now wooing Khushi will be difficult for him, as Khushi being her traditional self, would already assume that he is gonna marry Sonakshi...and hence will maintain her distances...right ?

You can be completely naked in front of someone and still not feel any attachments to them.

People are different.

I might not be comfortable of the idea of being with someone without any emotional connection whereas someone else doesn't need to be emotionally connected for them to jump into bed with someone.

It depends on the person.

It's not about only getting naked in front of Khushi, only eating her food, and only doing these types of things in front her that makes Khiushi and Arnav's relationship so different. It's whether he wants to spend time with her, whether he wants to enjoy food with her, whether he wants to invite her to her home and whether he wants to spend hours talking to her.

The Arnav I'm showing is someone who is clearly somewhat comfortable with spending time with a woman and enjoying some intimacy. This is not the Arnav who pushed La away just because he did not want to spend time with her.

I haven't delved into their relationship so I don't think you can assume he's leading Sonakshi on, whether Sonakshi is even a bad character, whether she will play a goof character or heck whether or not she ends up helping these two get together in the end 😆 I think you getting worried for no reason.

I haven't even started writing out the next chapter just yet 😆
