Maa is not just a word that we utter million times a day. she's not merely a person who takes care of our smallest needs. She is more than that. So much more that words fall shorter in order to describe what an enigma she is. She is the first one who started loving us when we were just a tiny blob in her womb. She is the first person who connected with us and showered us with her unconditional love.A love so sacred, so pure, without asking anything in return She is that someone who spend sleepless nights comforting us when we were unable to find any. She is the maid, chef, manager, cleaner,gardener,housekeeper, guide, counselor,friend,comforter all rolled into one. She might be strict at times. Might not give into our whims and fancies. For our advanced selves, she might appear as orthodox. But her heart always wishes the best for us."abhi nahi samjhoge..jab khud maa banoge tab samajh aaega", you must have heard your mom saying this many times but wont be able to grasp its actual meaning until unless we step in her shoes. She works tirelessly , round the clock.. She doesn't get perks like summer vacations or winters. No holidays, no weekends. No sundays even. But does she complain? Hardly. She is the one who gets up at 2 in the night to give you a glass of warm milk when you are studying for your exam next day. She is the one whose the first one to get up and the last to go to bed.

Have we ever stopped and asked her, when was the last time she had a break. When was the last time she relaxed completely without fretting over what to cook for evening meal. When was the last time she was pampered without a care in the world. Moms are truly god send angels. Angels we have taken so granted. Her presence is something that comforts us instantly. Our eyes search for her as soon as we enter the home after a long day at work. Home is just a house in her absence. When was the last time we took her to parlor. When was the last time we said, mom, you take a rest today, I am preparing dinner or lets order out. In a family of 5,if there are 4 sweets left, have you noticed how she suddenly develops a 'dislike' for that particular sweet. Her single caress, her safe embrace, her tight hug, her soft kiss can solve all our biggest problems overnight.This creature who loves us unconditionally and irrevocably, are moms.

Sorry, this post is not related to Arnav-khushi. Don't know if this is the right place to post or not, but couldn't help. Felt like writing something for my mom and all other moms out there. Just wanna say, that we are blessed to have you in our lives.
