I couldn't write that she told him the truth! It didn't make sense! I just hadn't realized this gaping hole in writing in the show before!

If Khushi told him Shyam had stayed in their house and she was engaged to him, it would have become a whole different ball game, don't you think? That would mean her family was involved and everyone in Laxmi Nagar knew! It would have been a snap for Arnav to verify that! He could have asked Buaji, Payal, hell he could have just made one phone call to Aman and asked him to go to Laxmi Nagar and talk to Happy Ji!! And it would have looked stupid if he just didn't believe her then and forced her to marry him or sent her away!

I did write it that way. But then I hit a wall! No matter how I tried, I couldn't justify Arnav's actions after that!

Barun and Sanaya are brilliant! Their chemistry, their angst, those intense scenes...these things were a saving grace for the shoddy writing!

Anyway, it was a revelation of sorts!
