Congrats on the new thread mints 👏
Happy Sankranti 😃
Arnav - Khushi's engagement preparations are on full swing . Manorama has invited her sister Maya , we cannot ignore the fact that she is Arnav's mother .
It must be very difficult for Arnav to see his mother after so many years , the betrayal is hitting him hard . The conversation between Maya & Arnav is very essential , a closure for the past .
Maya was married very early to Ajay , but women at age of 21 are more matured . Arranged marriage in case of Maya has failed because , she did not find in it her to love the man she married . I cannot say Maya was wrong because people fall in & out of love all the time . Some people finds true love in second chance . But she shouldn't have left a child behind in seeking her second chance . As a mother she betrayed her son & left him when he needed her most . It is not ASR who is talking to his mother , it is that young boy who has lost his mother at his tender age . Very curious to read next chapter

Congratulations on the new thread mints.. 👏
I never expected arnav's mother will come in to the picture like this..
I was wondering where was she when arnav's father died.
We can somehow justify she leaving arnav with his father, but what about time when arnav became orphan.?
If mittials were not there then what?
She somehow deserves a cold treatment..

Minty,

What a beautiful chapter. Congratulations on the new thread. And Sadh, meri bachchi, that was a phenomenal introduction! This story has assumed a life of its own. The much awaited confrontation between Arnav and his mother. I am sorry, but no sympathy from me for the mother who abandoned a loving husband and son and walked off into the sunset with another man...in the name of love. Yes...our feelings and dil are certainly important, but at what cost. Breaking a family apart? Sadly, what you describe is not strange at all. I know of a real life family where this happened...ironically the woman even after a second marriage was not really happy and separated from that relationship too. And her three children from the first marriage, all adults now with teenage children of their own, have never really forgiven her at all...it is a sad reality that if we make our beds, we must by default lie in them...face the consequences of our actions. Maya would have done well to pause and think a moment.

I am waiting to see what Arnav tells her. Will their relationship move forward...don't think so, knowing Arnav and how very much he cares for his dad. Loved the moments of togetherness between Arnav and Khushi...

Take a bow girl, this was outstanding! 😊👏

Love,

Anu

Lovely, lovely writing...one can easily see why you are popular...you have a flair for writing which is essential in a great writer...
Having complimented you...the story what can I say...it's going in perfect direction...I hope Arnav gets the closure he needs on the difficult topic of his mother...the raw nerve needs to heal...

Waiting eagerly for next chapter!

Khushi can never fool Payal. Payal is too smart and intuitive for that. but then that's the beauty of their relationship. 😊 As it is Khushi has a tendency to hide her worries, so it's better that she has people around her who can read her like a book.
And for the jealous girls in AR - Pyaar karne wale pyar karenge, jalne wale jalte rahein 😛
BTW that surprising, passionate kiss took me to dreamland. ☺️
There were times in the story when I wondered if we will get to hear Maya's side of story. I've always wondered about his mother, why did she leave. I mean we all know that she left because she fell in love with someone but there has to be something more. Her story here makes me think how many people actually fall in love in arranged marriage setup. Chances are 50% people do and 50% don't. Some learn to adapt but some can't help but follow their heart.
At the same time bringing a child in the equation when one is not sure of their feelings is very risky. Maya should not have left Arnav like that. Yes Ajay needed Arnav but Arnav needed a mother too. It would have been good had she remained in contact with her son. Arnav suffered because of the lack of love in his parents' marriage. There was no mistake of his yet a kid had to suffer. It's so not fair.

Congo for the fifth thread of this awesome story Mints di !! 👏👏👏

Extremely sorry for being terribly late 😔😔 ... These semester exams seemed to be never ending... I'm finally free from its clutches now ! 😕

ASR ki hone wali biwi will be envied by all... Par kya karoon? Even we find ourselves envying Khushi often even though we know ASR is a fictional character !! 😆😉😉

Khushi is becoming a prankster these days... Where did my innocent, silent and serious Khushi go? 😛 But she is playing with the Dracula herself... so it's of no use :P

My Khushi is doing well in her fashion designing course !! Way to go Khushi !! 👏 👍🏼

Seems like Khushi has smart ways to placate Garima's fears about the wedding expenses...Calling up Arnav to check whether he likes the ring or not? Of course he would like the ring, baby ! But I don't think he would mind showing up anyway 😉😉😛

Ahh... I just cannot describe that kiss scene in words... ☺️😳
It was ... passionate and dreamy and later turned into caring ... and cute :)

Manorama called his mother without even telling him? It must be necessary ... but I hope it doesn't end up badly... I don't want Arnav to suffer even a bit anymore... coz he has suffered enough in his childhood.

Now... how do I judge Maya? Or maybe I shouldn't judge her at all coz I haven't been in her place? How a person feels about a marriage is known to that person alone. Other people can give advice but it finally the decision of being in a marriage or not, when they clearly didn't want it, is purely the individual's choice based upon their feelings. Maybe she could have put forth her point with Ajay... I don't understand what stopped her from doing that. But... but... one cannot escape the consequences it would result in, right? That is where it becomes ugly.

Even in the previous updates I've found Arnav's childhood so painful... I wonder how this conversation is gonna turn out... Gulps down and runs off to read the next update.
