I am not sure how many people from this forum living aboard are watching the re-telecast of IPKKNd on Starplus..

but I was able to view the finale of Ek Jashn & immediately watch Episode 1 of IPKKND

The contrast between a tormented ASR & the happily married, content yet slightly harassed husband while so confident in his wife's love that he knows that she will forgive his transgressions... well eventually..

The contrast between a very innocent girl Khushi with rough edges who has bloomed into a polished confident woman, while maintaining her essence & is also so confident in her husband's love that she can run circles around him..

Fantastic job CVs who have brought about these changes incrementally for. ASR has indeed come a long way in his journey to Arnav... and Khushi from impulsive girl to a confident woman...👏👏

The other item that just struck me was in the first episode Khushi pleading with Arnav..

Haame Ghar Jana Hai.. & in response he breaks her blouse dori in anger...

Final episode of Ek Jashn, Arnav pleading with Khushi:

Khushi, please Ghar Aa Jaavo.. come home.. & in response to finding her finally, he lovingly puts the necklace around her neck...

Two words.. Just Beautiful... what a wonderful journey for us fans...

Love the way you worded this!
I'm watching the reruns of Iss Pyaar also and there's a lot of full circles from then to Ek Jashn.
Its heartwarming to see the vast change in these characters over the last four years.
She wanted to escape from him, to go to her safe haven, her home...
Now that's all he wants, for her to come home to him, to their home...
After all these years, he is her safe haven. And for him, happiness is Khushi, without her... he is restless, life is standstill.

Very lovely analysis, girl. Take a bow. Yes, they have rather efficiently closed all loopholes...transformed both the characters to definitely give us an answer to 'Iss pyaar ko Kya naam doon?'

It has been an amazing journey of love for both of them...Arnav Singh Raizada has grown in stature as a human being...someone who does not need to shot and scream and resort to machismo to prove that he is top dog...being Khushi's Arnav gives him an inexplicable sense of peace...consider the simple scene in the last episode of Jashn where he asks her to close her eyes and Khushi says 'kyun?' With some irritation. The Arnav of old would have coerced her, let fly at her verbally or by twisting her arm...this Arnav simply said 'please'! So while this may be not in keeping with his ASR image, he has certainly proved a doting husband and one who puts Khushi ahead of himself. Ditto Khushi...while people may think she has gotten all too high handed, the fact of the matter is simply that she knows her husband and knows just how far to bend...they have perhaps reached an egalitarian relationship or perhaps one where she is slightly ahead...aakhir banta hai boss after everything he put her through! 😆

What a beautiful post.
One thing that had always been a constant in IPK was the 'symbolism' that the script had conveyed. Whether it was the track of Arnav realizing his feelings for khushi, or khushi getting to know the soft-hearted Arnav behind the ASR or the intense passion of their romantic encounters or for that matter even the fact of Arnav learning the truth , everything had a layered and underlying meaning to what was shown on screen. And it was portrayed quiet well to keep the viewers hooked to the show and the makers n the actors did a fab job of portraying it well.

From the choice of clothes to the language used, everything had a 'reason' to it and added weight n value to the show n to characters. Even when EJ's promo was released, the subtle changes in Arhi were kept in mind. For instance, ASR's own color black was now teamed up with a lighter white and khushi had a subtle white under her bright yellow, a mark of change as to 'how ' the two had taken to each other mannerisms.

From IPK to EJ, the changes in the characters were shown well, yes it did have its lows but it had its good points too. Like how Arnav had become a 'free and more giving n accepting' man in love while khushi who always lived for others, realised n accepted that she did have a 'right' on Arnav. And add to that the chemistry has gone up a few notches higher. 😳

Yes.. it has indeed come a full circle..

Arnav's Khushi is his Khushi & Khushi's safe haven is indeed Arnav..

Even at her angriest, she cannot be far from him.. she wants to punish him, yet cannot even think of going far from him

The last part was absolutely breathtaking, though felt a bit rushed.. yes after all these years, she still has the power to drive him NUTS.. but like you said, she knows that if she doesn't stand firm, he will walk all over her..

I think because I watched the online episode, immediately followed by epi 1 that I had DVR'd on TV.. the contrast just leaped out
