After 3 years , the chemistry has intensified. This magic can be created and recreated only by them.

Wow! Thanks SK! Delighted to see that one here! They truly are one amazing Jodi! One of those rare once in a lifetime things that happen with shows and actors!

Ok. I watched the episode a good while after it was put up. I confess, that the camera angles made me laugh & the direction made me cringe. But then, it was over. The pictures started flashing by & Kyun dard hai itna played in the background, & it hit me that it is over. However good or bad this product, IPK Ek Jashn had been a small way to reconnect to the original & celebrate it. And, it was over. And, that was sort of bittersweet. I gave up on Indian tv post IPK, couldn't connect to any show. And, now, despite the bad script (script...what script?) of the Jashn, the less than flawless state of the episodes, if something comes out of brand IPK, I will still look forward to it. Longevity is the name of this obsession with the show.

And, 3yrs later, Arnav-Khushi are still bickering, making up, loving & living it up. And, we got a glimpse of that. Not many fandoms get such a treat. Fandoms come & fandoms go, but IPK fandom seems to only get more vocal & seriously, insanely awesome. The kind of diversity it exhibits is enough proof that there was something about IPK that many, many connected with. Something not many shows had.
I have my fingers & toes crossed for a new show with these guys. Come on people! Give me something to watch on tv.
And, what a wonderful take on the Jashn, Anu-ji. Loved it.

Thank you Archana, so right you are. We lapped up everything they gave us, as they knew we would! Sometimes though just seeing Arnav and Khushi together and getting a sense of their world is enough to make us smile...and go through another three years...gosh, hope it isn't that long before a sequel! Haha! Yes, we had little script, little anything for the matter...and still we leave with a smile! That's the magic of our Hamesha couple! Yes, entirely thanks to our amazing fandom and it's unbelievable unity...shouting ourselves hoarse on all social media platforms for three long years...unstoppable force indeed!

Thanks Lala! Let's hope that happens and we get a new season. You are quite right, they had this amazing familiarity around each other this time around! Perhaps as they always say in those interviews being friends in the real world also helps! Proud to be a fan...these two are on a different plain!

Hello N,

Absolutely have seen your posts on all the stories I read and posts I comment on! 😆...see love the connection already! I agree with you about the perfection...there will always be bloopers...life's like that...so we would be idiots not to appreciate what we did get. Yes, IPK season one is one of those cult classics...not likely to be replicated ever because of the attention to detail, the fresh concept, the great camaraderie between cast, crew, producers...I always love quoting Barun on this one, when he said in that finale interview with Gul Khan that there was a divine connect on this show. I truly believe that for them...they all fell together and the magic simply happened...with a lot of very hard work on all their parts.

Yes, we may never have got the much wanted closure, but how many ransoms are lucky enough to get a closure at all? And a pretty decent production too...props, costumes, dialogues. So let's be happy and wait to see what pans out. Thank you for the response to this one! ❤️🤗

Best,

Anu

Hey Anu...

Hmm u must have caught me on the posts arnd or cheeni's story, not sure about the other stories unless n until its an OS some reader of mine requests me to read. Not that i would not want to read here but that is luxury i cant afford now 😆 and ys surely love to read ur comments arnd.

@bold not sure which interview is this cos i wasn't arnd when IPK shut shop but la ovely way to put it. Indeed IPKKND was great and had a magical touch to it, the Midas touch, cos if it can get someone like me whose not an indian n doesnt speak hindi to watch n love the show then it has to be something right.

However when it comes to EJ i may have a different take.
@blue not that i am someone who cribs n rants but i prefer to accept things the way they are. IPK happens to be a fiction, not perfect , but its a 'getaway;' from the harsh reality to somehow unwind n be like a feel good sort of a thing. So while EJ from the word GO was only based on encashing on the popularity of the show, a little attention to the script n stuff, would have made a HUGE difference. At the end of the day the channel was milking the cow, and a 'better ' product would have 'surely' ensured a recall value for the fans. Not that it hasn't achieved the purpose now but i m guessing the success rate may not be the same. Just my POV. Gimme Arhi n I would have sat through anything or nothing but now, i am not too sure cos its subjective. I have IPK which is like a phenomenon. So if its something entirely new, i am willing to put in my time but maybe not otherwise. Frankly the BTS segments have been better than EJ. So yeah. LOL just a critical fan here.

Either way like i said, i am glad to have seen it n it is what it is. So i am just happy that its ended with Arhi n good memories. And of course this forum n the wonderful posts were cherry on the cake.

Cheers

We are always greedy when it comes to ipk. I hate to go through the ending but I'm over the moon that ek Jashn happened and I got to see them together. The last moments were magical and their chemistry set our screens on fire just like hamesha.
