The initial episodes of Ek Jashn proved something that we have known all along. Arnav Singh Raizada aur Khushi Kumari Gupta ek doosre ke bina adhoore hain *cheesy Bollywoodish line making sense now*
And this is how I imagine them to be always-
You could watch the entire cast of Ipk together, remove either of them and watch how empty it looks. You could put Arnav in his lover-boyish, cute modes forever but the moment Khushi arrives, the dramatic ASR background tune will come, pushing him into the "WHAT THE!!'' mode of rage which actually makes him Arnav in the first place. Truthfully speaking, these are the characters I fell in love with. The ones whose nok-jhok never ends, who shout at each other, bang doors and end up smiling and Rabba-veying at the end of it.
And this is how I imagined them to be, three years later. Fighting and Rabba-veying at frequent intervals, interspersed with Buaji's "Chhatak si meri bhatiji aur tum ho ki mooh hi utaar diye uska! Huh"😆
There is no Arnav without Khushi, No KKGSR without ASR. There is no fun in the fact that HP was finally sent on a holiday so that they could Rabba ve in peace *phew* if Khushi is not the one ordering him to do so. This is how they look good together, thodi si nok-jhok, thodi si taqraar, na family member ki rok-tok aur bohot Sara pyaar ;)
Happy Anniversary Khussi aur Arnav Bitwa. Shukriya, for raising our expectations of love in life, Shukriya for turning every possible moment into a wishful Rabba vey, Shukriya for being so damned cute! Shukriya for finally having a normal life instead of dealing with kidnappers and Masala mama and creepy brother-in-laws. Shukriya for the cheesy crap you both somehow make me love😛
And SHUKRIYA for putting a smile+a giggle+a few happy tears+a smirk+a frown all at once for years on my face.
I have this feeling that years later if and when I am all old with wrinkles on my face an forget to wear my set of teeth(As my grandmom often does😆) I will STILL be all "Kyun dard hai itna, mere Ishq mein, Yaad kuch nahi, except Rabba veyy, Rabba veyy..Rabba ve Rabba ve"🤔
