so finaly arnav apologies to khushi
everything is ok between them
akash finlay open his heart in front of payal
he is suffering along khushi
we cannot judge anyone here
khushi mom did mistake by betraying her family and husband
khushi dad did mistake by thinking that he can handle everything and hiding this from khushi
instead if taking care of his kids he becomes addicted to alcohol
akash was also teenagers at that time
his happy family image was broken
if his parents handle situation more wisely may be his relation with khushi waa not damage
i know he did wrong by leaving khushi alone but he himself was suffering
he cannot share this with anyone
and about khushi i cannot blame her she think what ever was shown to her
some point i beleive khishi mom to be selfish
to stay with her daughter she destroy every other relation
if she had courge to tell khushi may be story can be different

Sorry Cheeni, for the late comments but loved it dear.

First the note part, loved the pictures and your note gave more clarity to many readers I think.

Regarding Arnav and Khushi, one thing I can say, more than attraction or love, I feel they have become emotionally dependent on each other to a great extent. Its the feeling when you know that whatever happens, there is someone who is always there to support you, kind of thing.

Coming to the update, it is tough to live in guilt. Especially for people who have good conscience of mind, guilt literally pricks and kills them every moment.

You know Cheeni, when I look around in real life and see people living a life of dishonesty, siblings cheating their own siblings, kids abandoning their parents, etc, I always wonder how do they deal with such kind of guilt? How do these people even sleep at night having that kind of guilt in their conscience? I am clueless how they do it. If I have done something against my wish, trust me it kills me every moment till I set it right.

Arnav is right, every person has deal with guilt. But its the way you deal with it which matters. Will you let it destroy you and your life or will you try to fix it or find motivation in life and move on?

Glad Khushi decided to stay. Her brother and father all ran away when life gave them challenges. They did not have the guts to face it bravely. They hid behind their weaknesses. So happy that Khushi is braver compared to them. She is staying put and facing her demons.

Now waiting for Akash to face his demons too. It is his turn for redemption now.

Note:

Hello everyone! I hope you had a wonderful New Year's eve and I hope you have an awesome 2016. I am writing this note to let you know that Spring semester has commenced. Though I am taking only one course but it is project based so it will take huge amount of my time. And I have few other very important things to deal with.

So updates are going to be irregular. But I will complete the story, no doubt! This week's update will be posted by the end of the week and replies will be up too.

I will always reply to your scraps and PMs. I am more comfortable with PMs though.

Thank you for awesome comments on chapter 16. I see all of you are eager to know Arnav's past and many of you want to know the name of the book. So, here it is, This Is How You Lose Her by Junot Diaz. As many people have correctly said, the protagonist is the hero and the villain of his own story, I certainly believe that every human being is the hero and the villain of his/her own story. We make things and we break things and we try to blame others for that!

If you are only an ArHi reader or romance reader, I would suggest not to read this book. If you are an avid reader and read all sorts of books and like human psychology, go ahead and read this one. Writing is immaculate!
