I am too not interested in digging the past ...looks like everyone has their own reason on 'why ipk ended' ... I am only aware of the reasons written in various articles and further cemented by actors ..

Anyways good to know channel was the reason, not actors and fans

Hey i dont noe who was at fault it was obvious barun was quitting nd fans dint want d show to continue with some one else...so yea here fans r also a part...

Bt i thnk many r angry with sp for d disclaimer which dey put if v believe evry intw of barun saying bcz of fans it was closed so is d fact dat he did clear in many saying he was unwell bt sp did continue putting d disclaimer for a week...nd some still continue blaming him saying he left such a big serial for films...so i think dats d reason why many people started hating sp...

Just my opinion..sorry if i said somethng wrong...

It really doesn't matter (to me, atleast!) why and how it ended...it's actually a great thing that it ended when it did!

The fact that IPK is being dubbed in every language possible, the fact that it's achieving success everywhere is because the show ended at the right time! If it had continued, then it would have been the same old rinse & repeat shows of Indian TV which would have sunk into oblivion...

Anyway, this is my POV.

I seriously wished Akshay and deepali were given more sensible track and screen space as payash.

After their marriage , what had cv's done with their characters

Useless bubly track was given, unnecessary fights, that whole payal trying to get akash's attention by applying chamili ka oil and wearing those high heels n stuff was so cringey

Deepali and akshay deserved so much better and i just wish till date. that their payash relation could get explored more <3

Word! Word! Word! I don't care for the off screen blame game. I loved the show. And, for me, changing the faces of the leads, or killing one of them off would have destroyed the viewing experience. To top it off, IPK was already on a downslide by then. It is obvious from the Shital & Mrs. India track. Frankly, I wish the show had closed with Shyam's revelation, itself. A good love story comes with a short shelf life. If you try to stretch it beyond that, you turn the show from romance into horror, much like what has happened with many a show on Indian tv.

P.S: IPKKND in Bulgarian? I think, this show might just end up creating some sort of ridiculous history for being the most widely watched Indian show across the globe or something. Bulgarian?! Like, really! Whoa! Colour me impressed.

Guys about the shows closure I feel we just required 3 more months then we would have seen a good closure.

But I think a way before there remarriage were in past was opened up it was decided khushi would be preggy and they would end up seperating. Bcz the build up of the track was like that.

Then after progressing into pregnancy they would have met again and reconciled.

Something along these lines.

The redumption would have been 1 month track and then 10 happy episode with baby.

But as the pH told they ran out of story.

Why the sudden change in track from that built up?????

Till the Oct 4 episode I always thought they were seperating.

I felt somewhere around they pulled the plug hastily thinking ok fine let's just stop it.

The leads and there chemistry is immensely popular.

If lead is replaced there trps will get affected.

And they were planning to kill asr.

But if the show had continued would we be happy. Eg qubool hai are the fans happy.

I for one wanted sarun as arshi.
