#1 ArShi FF: Like Never Before 2 - Thread 2 added on Pg 1 (post 2) - Page 5

Ok, so firsthand, let me hug you *virtual hugs* on the new beginning of the wonderful journey called LNB. A very very huge congratulations, dear Cuddles!

And the banner, God! The banner is so damn cool and awesome and apt! I love this new one as well. While the old one depicted of the pains and tears they bore before they got into an embrace, this new one is promising a passionate, in love, a happily forever. I don't know if it is a co-incidence, but did you see the colors you used? Grey behind Arnav and White behind Khushi. It is as if she is brining light into his life, or rather, them being together is lightening up their otherwise grey world. I might be reading too much into the lines, but it is ph-urrr-fect!

Part A

The opening shot couldn't have been more better. You'v rocked it once again, baby girl. The longing you showed, not just effectively showed how much they are in love, but also gave an insight to Akhilesh's, Arnav-Khushi's life. It felt like you are throwing the dots here and there, and connected all of them by the end of the chapter.

The little details that you look into is what really hooks me up. You know, Tyson's behavior, the ice-cream tub, the poolside, the photographs, the sleeping on his side of the bed, sniffing in his pillow's scent. God, you describe as if it were really happening before our eyes.

The best thing I loved here is, you haven't made hteir pasts, or insecurities or fears be gone and disappeared or healed. Instead they found a new and better way to face them, overcome them, together. Isn't that what describes the beauty of their relation? The way it shows that their bond is getting stronger? Applauds at that.

And the phone call. *sigh* She cries out his name and he calls? *narrowing my eyes at my obliviously working hubby. Sighing and getting back to typing when he asks if I want to sleep* Anyway, coming back, I like the way you made her so overwhelmed that she forgot to tell him that she really did call out for him.

And then came the conversation. I really liked the continuous flow. Various issues were shared, but it was nice to see that the transition from one to another was pretty smooth. And when everything was going perfect, she sneezed! Brilliant. I seriously liked the little banter between them oh and the warning too. ASR back in action.

Exhausted?! Are they pregnant? Please no! I mean, they are just married, like what? 2+ months? And they have these new family members. No, no pregnancy now. I really pray it is the lack of vitamins or iron any such stuff. And Jeez! How did he mention that? Hyperactive sex life? *blushes hard*

And he talked her to sleep. How can one not fall in love with this guy? If not committed to my hubby, I'd have eloped for this guy for sure, I swear!

PartB

What do I even comment to such a wonderful update? But that doesn't mean I am not going to. LNB deserves a lot more than I try to put in here. Seriously, you've nailed this part.

Though this was mostly about Ryan and Riva, the glimpses you've included is so heart warming. The way she addressed Arnav as brother, her take on step siblings, her little realizations and observations.

And, dint our Arnav rock his way?! Boy, a week was blessed and he made the best of it. I seriously loved how you described the efforts or rather his very self warmed the kids. His sharing, including them in every issue, talking, spending time. That's what they really need, don't they? And having been through that and worse one, I am sure he is quite aware of what to do and how, atleast to a good extent.

God! So they do have some striking similarities? That's..Thats brilliant!!!

A simple move of walking her to her room, asking her to change and call him if she needs anything; was all it took for the beginning of understanding their brother better.

I really liked Ryan's take on Arnav so far. And Jeez! He sure is a tech-genius. And I am sure that with the encouragement Arnav is boosting, Ryan will soon begin to do everything he shut himself off from. Ohh, the kid is over-whelmed. And *sigh* see our Arnav Dearie smiling at the obvious. Isn't he a sweetheart.

I like the way you'v given an insight of the developments in the family and the companies in this one month. Anjali entered her second trimester! Wow! I cant wait to see more of her. And he goes atleast twice a week, solely to talk to the baby in the womb? He is..I don't know..I have no words anymore.

Hmm..So a wedding on the way, may be...Hmm..thats nice. I remember Lavanya thinking upon the same lines, like in Goa. And Aman is now thinking about the same. Well it will be real fun if it is gonna come true. But yeah, there is more to Lavanya's story isn't it? I hope to read that sometime soon as well.

The way he went into the room to check them, its something really touching. Simple a gesture it might be but Riva said, it is things as this that affirms that everything will surely be fine.

I so so sooo loved it!!! Fluttering Khushi waking up the entire family in the wee hours of the morning dint seem bizarre at all. But to see all of them equally excited and willing to be a part is something heart warming. True, family is not just blood. It is bonds!

I loved the little details like Akhilesh's 2 pieces of experience with Arnav, Nafisa's wise words and the younger lot's research it self. That shows how much they are actually putting efforts to make the environment be as friendly and warm as possible.

Oh, so Arnav dint want them to come to airport. Well, the way you'v described their first steps in Nouvelle Vie, I'd rather have it this way.

Can completely relate to Khushi's flattered steps. Wohhh! That's one tricky situation. Welcoming new family or kissing the hell out of a 1 week gone away husband. I loved her simple words to the kids. They truly are warm and filled with promises.

God! They seriously are making out a lot in the kitchen. But it was so nice. Cute, adorable, hot and touching. Her sobs, sniffs, his words and kisses. Perfect.

God their rooms!! I want one! I seriously want one!! *pouting and batting lashes at hubby* I bloddy loved both the rooms. And the respective reactions as well. Ohh that hug that Arnav initiated spoke a lot. A looot, I mean it. It was perfect, in the perfect time. So is Khushi's.

Breakfast. And again its hot. She's scratching him, he is squeezing her, she is grabbing him, he is holding her. Its breakfast for Christ's sake! That too amidst the entire family! Nevertheless, I loovvveddd the steaming tease. The way every family member were into some discussion or the other, including the kids was good to see.

And the ultimatum is simply mind blowing. I mean, seriously, that guys could have given some explanation, right? Like, I need to get changed or stuff? No! HE just had to drag her! Scandalous kahika! And just so you know, no, I am not complaining. God, these two would someday burn their house down with their passion. But I really liked the subtle yet intimate way you've written it.

Their feelings and thoughts towards eachother, the way he wanted to cuddle to her a bit more...its so...I don't know...nice stuff yaar. Some real good stuff this is. So pure, serene and heartwarming things you fill. I can bet on my life that, whosoever is your Arnav, he is one lucky kamina!

Ohh yeah! I was wondering if you'd continue to end the chapter with Like Never Before. And you did. I like that signature line.

Finally, congratulations on your first chapter of this new beginning of the same old journey. I abso-freaking-lutely loved it!
