Congratulations on thread 5👏!!! I know this story is going to have so so many many more...
😭 - Missed Res on pg1 & 😲 for what's to come...
******************
A mothers protective desire, a daughter's promise, a son's anguish and a father' remorse. You have also added the husband/wife issues of two generations to let us know that life is all about full circles. Is there anything else left for you to cover in this chapter? 😉
Entitlement to opinions and interpretations is a luxury we all have but unfortunately the same does not extend to facts. The good thing seems to be that all facts are on the table now and everyone including Avinash, seem to have the same interpretation that what he has done is absolutely and clearly wrong.
For all the excuse coating Avinash has done, I don't think there was any other way for him other than telling the truth that he gave into his desires. His honesty may not have succeeded in breaking Arnav's resolve on this day but I am sure Avinash will be walking a little lighter after letting out some of the guilt that he held up for so long. His self-inflicted guilt driven punishment of not having any more children may have provided some relief to his remorse but as per me it does not and should not alter any facts or opinions of what he had done to his family. But, acceptance is half the battle when you are on the path of remorse and that is the only positive thing I can say of him.
As for Arnav, in spite of occasional emotional pulls, his resolve was a foregone conclusion. He was spot on when he challenged Avinash for not being man enough. But, I have to say that I was impressed more by Khushi by the way she was standing next to him at the time of need. The walk to the beach at the end is what they need right now and I am eager to read how they perceived what just happened.
There was never any doubt on Anjali's personal reasons for envisioning a complete family picture. But, the promise she willingly made does provide the justification she needs for the end and the means.
What are the lengths that parents go to for the sake of their kids? Looking from that angle, Sofia's compromise with someone who abandoned her and her concern for her kids having at least one parent, makes a lot of sense. For the sake of her soul, I hope this story has some level of reconciliation for Arnav in the future.
Coming to out writerji, I am not sure how you envisioned so many things for Arshi on such a short trip. Right from the beginning when they were on the plane watching the clouds to now, every day of the trip seems like a discovery of sorts. And I am realizing now, not for nothing this story is called Revealed and not for nothing you are admired for the mastery you possess.
Eagerly waiting for whatever is coming up next😉
