Awww that was so sweet! You know initially the tone of the OS made me think that maybe Khushi's husband was deceased and she was yet to accept it and all and par tof me was like NO NO PLEASE NO. Let him be alive! So when I read the part about him being in the ARMY, I heaved a HUGE sigh of relief!

I love how you described Khushi and her actions. Her wait for her husband and the disappointment that courses through her at 7am on seeing the food untouched squeezed my heart...

Such a sweet and beautiful OS. Loved it.
Life of a woman married to a defense person is not easy as they have to stay apart from their partners for so any months. But such is life!!!
I loved how she cooked for him daily, waiting for him.
But shyam the milkman 🤣 - extra points for this. 😉😆

Hope and Optimism stands out in the writeup.

A everyday task like breakfast is portrayed in such beautiful sentences. She, day after day, prepares breakfast with such hope and optimism that her husband will return to her. Its heart warming to read this story .

A simple yet sweet story which shows how little mundane things can fill colours in the black and white life of a person. 😊
