Indi, did watch that musical video in bits... got the gist since you already explained.. the dancers didn't bother me much. I used to watch such years ago live on stage..

I was introduced to atif aslam early 2000 by a friend who knows my music tastes. the song he made me hear was atif's first solo hit in Pakistan, equivalent to Shafaqat's Aakhon ka sagar , it came around the same time as well. Now I cant seem to recall that atif's song, it started with aansoo, or something with A.. My google searches take me only to Kuch is tarah, bit i don't think it was that. If any one you know the atif's song I am talking about, please do let me know.

Just read ur 298 indi and watched the epi too.. my heart broke again for that man..there were a few things that i felt differently in my later watches.. not this one..
Indeed she turned into this utmost insensitive/ cruel self...how could she not see his heart and effort in all that esp after he said he noticed her doing that on new yrs.. he remembers everything about her..with that comic BG music and the tone writers seemed to have wanted to portray this as another of their see saw tom- jerry fight. But unfortunately i didn't see any romance nor is it a silly fight over a colliding with each other with him having business papers in hand and kaan pakadke maafi to play some intimate games with her ( how I saw it) .. only her stone cold heart and his relentless efforts to placate her are obvious here..

all that plink plonk music... if only it could make a thing funny or fun. i could actuallly take his roughness escaping the strict control he is trying to impose on it, because he just loves her so much... and all that do it now stuff. and yes, he remembers everything about her... it is he who will therefore recall the past moments i guess... and scare her with lights out because he remembers...

but how could they not see that that in pink would be how khushi would seem. even more so with those meaningless lines.

hard for me to believe this just happened because writers felt badgered by trp pressure.

that stone cold heart take away should never ever have happened.

the kaan pakadke and stuff, even though something had started feeling disjointed and puzzling, was yes, still somehow understandable... the tease in his eyes, the little challenging each other, all because of a feeling... which he at that point is trying not to feel. it was even fun. yes, definitely intimate. she too portrayed the hurt, ambushed feeling and her struggle with love pretty well.

but now.

ah well.

Indu, Atif started off with a band called Jal, who were big at one time. There's a song of theirs called aadat, which was a huge hit and was also used in a BW movie. Is that the one you're talking about? Shafaqat was also with a band called Fuzon, and if I'm not mistaken aankhon ka sagar is a fuzon song, so also khamaj.

Kizh, thanks for responding. no its certainly not aadat. Its a much soother number, It could be kuch is tarah only for all I know.

Yeah, aankhon ke sagar is a Fuzion song, but later many versions of it with Shafaqat as solo singe came out. I heard Shankar Mahadevan describing how he was bowled over listening to it while driving in Mumbai and called him immediately to India to record Mitwa..that kind of remained in my head..

Indi read your 298. What to say about the episode. The whole episode to me as a matter of fact the whole birthday sequence seemed very forced one. Everything the guy did went down the drain. All his efforts were meaningless. Instead of going one step forward relation went 2 steps backwards. Not sure what was the reason behind this? TRP? Story? Creatives?

They did celebrate her birthday in a very ASR way but the guy was just pestled between the two women in his life. Anjali part - I FF it all the time as i feel insult to watch it.

Why just Khushi even ASR character did a peek a boo.

Why can they not just make limited no of episodes or have seasons for the shows like they have it here. And then we all can enjoy the show endlessly😃

Really bad writing, and grave injustice to khushi's character. I dont' think she was ever petty, she had her reasons for being upset, but she had looked as if she wanted to move on from that. bingo - she was so pleased with everything he did. It did effect her. But she was way beyond unreasonable. She was the one with the double standards here.

Bhavii, the writing had taken a real nose dive here. They played around a lot with khushi's character. Sad really, it was such a refreshing character to begin with. I've been watching some of the old episodes, they didn't continue with the same quality in writing later on.

Thats why i said why can not we have limited episode. I heard in many interviews that they do not have pool of the episodes and under stress they work. So what can we expect from them.
