Edit - 30 chapters.. that is book right there.. congratulations di.. it is a very beautiful story.. when i first started reading it you had alraedy written 15 chapters I guess. I felt like I had walked into an extension of IPK. And with each update you still manage to retain that authenticity.

did you really feel like that? i felt it while writing. the pace had been thick and the tension in the air had persisted through pretty ugly moments in their lives... i felt that needed to relax a bit... some down time, because h, this is not a trp seeking serial, this is pagal phangurrl's meander through a beautiful love story... and we started with a coma, went onto a little happiness post recovery, then got stalked and teased by shyam, asr had a little time to recover... but what is normal asr khushi, especially now, now that they know certain things taht will be in their lives no matter what andalways be a part of them, their tragically interlinked past... is there something to tell in the story of asr khsuhi any more... what happens to relationship after falilng in love happens without the obvious headache givers like shyam and accidents? will be trying to see that now... and yeah... me dying to know what the laad governor in apna angrez land will do with his desi jhalli.

a reader said something really nice about the setting... london... classy enough for asr and massy enough for khushi. it is that.

and they are just by themselves... she has already decided she needs no one but laad g in this strange new land.

thanks and i am personally delighted to see them together by themselves, away from the usual things. they need it and i am thinking they might surprise and thrill us with what they end up doing. i felt there was a need to come to a less physically pressured space now that sheeshmahal had been entered and unravelled if not forgotten, nor will it ever be... but they are not just their past... they are now, they are tomorrow and much later too... so exploring.

The wait was worth it - there is this feel, quality to your writing this time - it's different - a steadiness, a sense of quiet, peace - of the whole world stilling and slowing around them, finally allowing them to settle into a calm, uncluttered space where they can now enjoy their togetherness.

There was always this undercurrent of an impending tragedy before in their lives - of things not in their control, of a past that loomed dark, and emotions too raw - but now, in a place that is not their home, thousands of miles away in a busy, crowded, strange city, worlds apart from her Lucknow, why do I feel Khushi has finally found her home?

yes, where will khushi finally find her home... we don't talk much about her life, her fears and her sadnesses... but she was always a little homeless too... just battled it her way, with big smiles, lots of hope and a tonne of giving generous love. but she ate a lot, spoke nonstop... often when troubled, rarely did she speak of herself...

i love the fact that khadoos laad gov gets her in a a way almost no one can. and she too him. that is the whole life partner thing in my way of looking at them. their unique perception of each other.

yes, pace has changed.

there was a sense of doom approaching all through because honestly sheeshmahal could never have been simple. nor pretty. and yet, it had to be visited... had to be faced and allowed to enter their hearts, no matter how destructive..

its shadows are still destructive, but i really want to know how asr and khushi will live with and grow with that element embedded. what they will do with it.

you are a writer and really as the one who thought this story through, i was feeling the stress and tension of the days... needed opening out the moment there was a chance.

curious how in the main body of ipk all the clues to them are sitting... nainital, sheeshmahal, london... project in london... i am just opening doors and entering... enchanting when you add asr khushi to it... i can still see him running down the corridor of sheesmahal holding her hand intent on saving her and getting away and then suddenly turning around and running back to the madness.

i wonder what they will leave behind in my mind in london... the first "phoren" country i too had gone to way back when i was all of thirteen.

i was thirteen when i made mine, years ago... the city was london... still have memories and that sense of excitement. also jet lag. teehee.

i really would like to see asr and khushi together for a while without shyam, conflict, usual things, family pressures, just them... i hope this works well.
