Who cares as far we are getting arhi moments everything else is fine. It's times for some Cricketwa and some taek wondo fighting.
Rest of the comments are up.

Javeria brilliantly insightful comments. I read everything multiple times. I enjoyed everything you wrote and it can all be concatenated to become an entire post on this episode. I did that for you above 😊. Thank you so much for always reading and liking my posts Hug. Muh dikhai is also definitely my favourite scene in this episode. I don't think I have ever laughed this much.. I even forced my husband to watch it with me yesterday. He tried hard to control but am pretty certain there were some lopsided smiles a few times..

I really liked how you brought about the love everyone has for Khushi and how hard she tries to show that she is happy for their sake. They wouldn't worry that much about money as long as their daughter is happy. All the simple people surrounding Khushi are so much nicer than the mean rich guests that would come and taunt Anjali in the Raizada mansion. You and Khushi are right ..money isn't everything..

Loss
"Lukhnow jaa rahe hai hum... hamesha ke liye".. she was almost vengeful in saying that.. for all the abrasive words he hurled at her ever since they met.. a thunderbolt hit his head .. a dry pain shot in his insides. No telltale sign why he was feeling what he was feeling for this girl whom he repeatedly shunned off. He only knew one thing that he couldn't let her go.. ..all he could mutter as he felt air sucked out him.. "tum aise nahi jaa sak..".. "Khushi". He would scream almost in desperation. No he can not afford to lose her! Her words would reverberate in his head for days to come... that would wake him up middle of the night raving her name. She is gone ..some where that throbs him deep.
Inadvertently he would look for her every where knowing well " tum nahi ho .. kahin nahi ho" but a gust of wind dribbles and croons "tum yaheen ho .. yaheen kaheeni ho". And indeed asr aur uski tanayee most serendipitously would find her in his own room.. closet..a cozy little space in that mansion that is his very PERSONAL OWN!
Two hearts stopped.. two hearts collided.. two hearts fought.. two hearts resumed a journey !!

Loss of a dear one.. at the epicenter of the insecurities of arnav singh raizada. .. two gun shots ... two people lying down lifeless.. unforeseen responsibilities thrust onto his young shoulders over night as he was still grappling with that loss, kinships turned nemesis.. his world turned upside down. That was a night mare he couldn't obliterate.. a traumatic memory that left his soul dormant!

Months later, he would share with her the gloom eclipsing his heart all these years, albeit cloaked in raging anger, "Kaisa lagtha hai jab us ghar me kadam rakhthe hue jahan woh kabhi wapas nahi aayenge".. how hard it is to leave the last mortal remains of one's parents to flames and how vacuous it feels to come back to a brickly skeleton from where the sukoon .. the appeasement of his mother, and the aegis of his father were expunged! He vouched NOT to let anyone into that intimate vicinity again...not to let anyone make him vulnerable again ..not to let love, an ardent fervor that decimated both his parents, reign supreme over him!

It is ironical asr claims himself to be an atheist.. but he is devi mayya's favorite child, as it is said, God certainly chaperons those who abide by their duties and responsibilities most ardently whether they engage in ritualistic practice or not. A door opened.. a ray of light shed.. an emissary sent.. a girl enters his sealed solitude to fill in those gaping holes in his heart.. life... ..a vibrant spring wafts into his autumn!

On the day of Payal- Akash's Haldi, as asr went searching for her, the clues he found, a shard of her bangle, a single sandal of hers, a commotion about a nearby accident.. an ambulance apparently carrying an injured "ladki"..his worst petrifying fears coming alive. A nightmare revisited... loss of a dear one...she is gone! His vital force draned right out of him... his breath hitched.. he ran madly... only to find her engaged in a perfunctory bargaining with a chanawala.. through the rear view mirror of his suv, reflecting that she is always THERE in the precious layers of memories of his recent past.. and that future course of his drive is intimately hinged upon this guiding star.

A gasp of relief.. in a fleeting moment he is inundated in a conglomeration of emotions... relief, victorious, disbelief, anger that she is safe and sound, that she is not vanquished, that she could be so causally engaged in a trivial negotiation with a vendor middle of the night without any inkling to what he is going through ...

"Didn't you know I wanted to accompany you.. didn't you know I detested that caricature of my cousin anywhere in your vicinity.. didn't you know I would be utmost worried if you are unable to answer my calls... Did you have to be reminded "don't you ever do this to me"? Didn't you know I would go bonkers to deranged if you didn't get back home on time...why Khushi.. why.. how could you do this to me .. how could you be so callous.. isn't my visceral pain evident?" ... he seemed to exude..

Shaking her vigorously he would vent all his bridled distress.. his most guarded secret.. his mannat ki chabi without paying any heed to what he was doing, who was listening around...with only an insurmountable need for this girl.. as if... he cannot comprehend how another day would dawn without sinking in that loss.. as if he concedes how this bitter pill would choke him to end...as if he is frantically admitting to his dependency on her.. as if he has NO means to evade her loss!

Laying his innermost fears bare .. and a heart that beats for her.. and only for her..as arnav singh raizada's odyssey from loss to love nears its apex... He exclaimed confessing his love ..."what if I had lost you"???

Who said a love confession says "I love you" ??

FANTASTIC WRITE UP. It's Stupendous. 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
I love this line "tum yaheen ho .. yaheen kaheeni ho". His heart always finds his way back to khushi, she was the end of his misery.
Loss, this one word changes Arnav's life. Pain, loneliness and unrest followed him when his mother left him. And he didn't wish to relived it and that's why he used to avoid khushi and conversed rudely so that khushi could stop breaking the walls around his hearts. He was wrong, the moment she fell in his arms she quietly invade his heart and became his breath. Hate was just a silly excuse to calm his conscience.
Later when khushi decided to leave Raizada mansion being upset from Arnav calling her his biggest mistake, he stopped her by using contract as an excuse to win her back. He bear the pain being away from khushi during kidnap track then how could he again do the same mistake because being away from khushi even for a moment is just like ending his life just he felt it finishing when khushi was unconscious and fragile after falling off the cliff.
She matters a lot and farak parhta hai, bus. She was the lucky woman who enters in his life, without her presence life becomes meaningless, the thought of going away from her is enough to be tense.
Truly who said a love confession says "I Love You"?? Arnav and khushi gave a new words and meaning to love.
Love the post.

It's been a week since the thread started, but as they say, it is never too late. 😳
Thank you everyone for loving the opening lines and the HAHK post. The HAHK wouldn't have been complete without Indi, who created a beautiful product out of my raw inputs and also Faiqa, who posted the same.

Faiqa, Welcome aboard. Thanks for joining this disorganised but dedicated team. 😃 Awesome banner on top and I see the gifs slowing sneaking into them.
Touch of Love and Love and Concern. This time I made it a point to read your writings on time. I did. Only I am late in acknowledging. So, my blah blah lady, how do you manage to come up with such awesome pieces of works within a short time? Both very engrossing. Thanks for the lovely quotes. The edits are lovely. Thanks for posting HAHK. 😳
Thnx Durga , 😊

Glad you liked the pieces.Your HAHK is interesting way to look at IPK.Really nice .😊 I have my ways of working that's all.

IT was really fun working with you all.It was fun being a part of this team.😊

Thnx for liking the Time square edit.😊

@Soha

Thnx for reading and commenting 231 with generous words .Yeap Babli is a devil mind and Khushi is a sweet one but one thing was shown very nicely and it occurred to me later ...They have shown how Raizadas and Guptas are dealing with orphans.Babili in Boarding house...without the lamas and pyar is growing up and her way of thinking and acting shows insecurities on her won way because tough kids like her are way weak and insecure innerly .

Other side Khushi was raised in a family , and Babuji and Amma's love made her strong from all sides , yes she does have her insecurities as being orphan when she was so little but that didn't taint her sweetness and courage.

Thnx

loved it.
your opening para is amazing. Loved what you said about Babli and Khushi. Babli is a mature child with devil's mind. But Khushi is an immature adult with a beautiful mind.
All the blue lines stood out for me and I have some comments in purple.

The way you described all those instances in the past came connected to the current situation is superb. 👏 And that Silsila song, Uff... You set the tune for this beautiful piece. That music playing in my mind as I kept reading.

Yes you are right, this is nothing short of a confession. :-)

If you don't mind I am adding this to the blaster takes under the relevant episode. 😃

Durga, thanks much for appreciation. Again? Did you read on Ipoona' s thread? then double thanks for reading twice without getting bored..:).
This one is one of my top 3 favs. Couldn't help writing about it.. Silsila, richness of that poetry always suited asr. It is indeed his verbal confession I thought.
Pl do add to the epi analyses. Hum bahut aabhare hai tumhare..:)

love looks not with the eyes but with the mind
and therefore is wing'd cupid painted blind
~~~ william shakespeare, a midsummer night's dream ~~~
an episode that starts with shyam is bound to not make me too happy. yet, when i look at what i read in it, he does seem to be a good representative of the god of desire, erotic love, attraction and affection... cupid.
structure wise, everything seemed to be focussed on getting the couple to shift to gh. khushi was back to her let me kill you with love strategy, asr snarled and looked hot and was deliciously rude. all that class talk had to happen i guess, and right in the middle of it of course amma had to call so that khushi makes the connection and takes the classy one for a look see of the not so wealthy middle class world he supposedly abhors and ridicules.
i say supposedly because the least classy of them all mami ji lives with him and gets an inordinate amount of love and respect despite her bizarre ways and tongue... a rather lovely nonjudgmental love there, because he seems to value the core of a person, the essential being, that may not even be easily apparent and missed by the less perceptive.
Good point but not in the beginning...which seems as that's how he is and he does what seems ok to him because he was not aware of the "Abhiman " of these ppl and did make them feel bad but Buaji became very understandable when he explains why he can't call Amma to any woman and after that he becomes star of Buaji eyes.
but with khushi,
he must snarl, he must be really really mean, go straight for the jugular.oh i love that. says, she gets under his skin and how... he looks for the choicest words to get to her, make her mad, get angry, and he never ever wonders why he does that. 👏
Because she takes him where no one else has a courage to do so.He can't live without her and she is two timer and that makes him mad...
a girl who according to him is a home breaker, who loves another... he can't just throw her out of his life. he who hates galat and wants to be sahi and never anything else, when he sees the most galat thing ever on the terrace he can't bring himself to cut a tie his faraq has started making...
BUT HE STILL LOVES HER >>>PERIOD
and she, she who has every reason to absolutely hate him. look at how he has demeaned her, dragged her to a temple and set up a "contract" marriage, whatever that is, hasn't given her a single chance to place her point of view, hasn't asked her for one even...if she hated him would that be abnormal?
yet, she frets when he is hurt, stays up nights when he is unwell, asks him what he meant by main hamsha hamesha tumse..., gets mad at him when he doesn't answer... and never ever asks herself why it's important to know that or why she does what she does.👏
the laws of desire, attraction, erotic love, affection are not so easy to understand, for this one needs at the very least a god.
And ASR and Khushi's love is so deep, that is undecipherable, impenetrable.
and so comes shyam with orange juice. making us think instantly of a lopsided smile growing and a girl in tears saying "woh santre ka juice nahin mila na, iss liye." if you ask me, that day, cupid's arrow had found its mark so sharp and right, someone never quite recovered...
the drums beat, speaking of foul play, felony. khushi is approaching... and shyam has seen the wallet, lying open on the table. a very careless tycoon is in the bathroom.
an uncomfortable scene ensues. shyam crosses the line again and again, and khushi is hardly as vocal as you'd expect her to be... at least in this she is consistent. maybe they tried to indicate the sort of pressure relationships bring to bear on a situation. he is anjali's husband, asr's brother in law, the son in law of the family in a culture where sons in law are given a very high and special status. she being at one time just a girl who comes home to teach someone and even now, the bahu of the family, can't really treat him the way she may even wish to...
he is nefarious and disgusting , but as you said no one will believe her and that is the biggest reason she is taking this and stretching this matter so long till he will put the knife on her neck , her life ...Arnav "hum ne apne pati keh liye kiya...Arnavji keh liye jin se hum bohat pyar karte hain.." and then she is the one who will not care anything to expose him .BUT then equation of Arnav and Khushi will be different.
however, finally she does tell him off with a stern, "humen chhoone ki koshish bhi mat kijiye..." don't even try to touch me.
and soon after, she tells herself not to think of the man, just bury the thoughts and forget them... this as aarwen pointed out, may be a trait of khushi's. when things are particularly unpleasant, painful... she tries to look away from them. her constant jabber, her eating, both may be signs of that. and her stars may have come about as a result of that as well. the loss of her parents was too too traumatic for an eight year old, she needed something to hang onto, something to just take it all away... and maybe of this need came that beautiful vishwas. a trait can express in many ways, sometimes positively, sometimes just as a weird quirk, even rather nastily at times.
She has a really big heart and forgiving nature.Very few ppl can do that and that is what Shyam is manipulating as weakness but later this will be her strength.
anyway, this whole drama is about a key. the key to asr's locker that shyam wants to swipe. the first time i saw, of course i had hopes it will lead to some story, now we know otherwise.
but maybe the key has another purpose? reminds me of a meeting in a darga, mannat, even mystery and unlocking... maybe they are looking for the key to each other's hearts, feelings... 👏
the episode is dotted with things that are like little signals and signs, orange juice is such an asr khushi thing... key, from the third episode it means something.
wallet. a place where you keep precious things. what a lot of time the two are shown squabbling over it. and then a funny crazy dhadkane moment.
"what the hell, mera wallet!" now why do i like this man to sound this exasperated and short all the time.
"mera wallet tumhare paas kya kar raha hai..." he snaps what's my wallet doing with you to her very wife like helpfulness with it. and it was interesting the way she ran to make sure his wallet was dry, his money fine, now that was not just to show him... so shyam the cupid did his job quite well.
asr is particular, finicky... lovely. and maybe true to type.
"meri cheezon ko haath mat lagaya karo" don't touch my things... divine love talk is on. you interfere with my frequency, my signal, you unnerve me with your very presence,if you "haath lagao" me or mine, i might melt, so please... hands off! i got to stay mad at you. i hate you, after all.
OH she can unlock all of locks in him just by her presence , touch takes them to the next level
"aap chahe toh paise gin sakte hain..." you can count the money if you like, she says, the way he goes on about anyone touching his wallet, i don't blame her. but he's taken aback. he did not mean that... no not at all... he meant the other thing he he.
she is as sweet as she'd promised to be, he acerbic, irritable, gorgeous.
he looks at her in that slightly lost, genuinely surprised then moving to contrite way... "no no i didn't mean that..." so natural and sweet, how does this girl remain sane after that. she doesn't, thank g.
"main kuch aur dekh raha tha..." i was checking something else, as he says that she looks at him bemused, getting just a little bit lost... but then quickly she comes back to her scheming khushi self.
i love these little escapes into that feeling they can't contain, can't control.
she insists on helping him with his jacket. with an angry look he decides to give in, she prattles on, distracting him... and a hot smart one from asr:
"tumhari kya schedule hai aur tumhari governor se meeting kab hai usme mujhe koi interest nahin hai.!" what your schedule is and when you are to meet teh goivernor is of no interest to me. he tries to put her in her place, but she is irrepressible...
"suniye toh... hamare governor toh aap hai..." listen, you are my governor... with a cheesy look. oh irritattting. he needs to go now.😆
but she does another natak and lies down in his path. excessive khushiness, more than ott is being reached. yet it reminds me of a story of love from childhood. kali was mad at the world and running around killing all, decimating the earth, everyone ran to shiv and said, do something, get your wife to calm down. shiv lay down on road, knwoing she'd be passing that way. kali came raging down the opath and steped on his chest by mistake, she did not see him. but the moment she realised, she stopped, her tongue out in a sign of oops what have i done. yeah, she was touching her patidev's chest with her foot. sacrilege. and in that pause, her gussa came down. when we bongs do kali puja, that pose is what the idol depicts. to me it has also always meant extreme love... both his and hers. kali is the emblem of shakti, poer, she is also the goddess of time and change... shiva is her eternal consort, the destroyer and transformer of our worlds in the trimurti... together they are a couple suggesting many things at many levels. a sense of dynamism, of timelessness, of essential bonds, and truth.
with that one completely crazy move of khushi's, and even as i was thinking, what the... what have they written and what is she doing, i thought of all that... slight goosebumps.
a hanky is lovingly proffered, angrily taken.
a handkerchief with a lipstick mark and a scent.
very tacky, very silly... and i really can't blame asr for flying into a rage. whenever the guy has a meeting his biwi does something strange, this is a very kkg thing, the amount of times she has barged into his meetings...
this time, such an intimate innuendo. the lipstick is obvious, but the hanky and the ittr make me smile and again wander into the labyrinth of love...
handkerchief always brings to mind othello. some say, that killing a beloved wife because you believed such a flimsy so called proof is ridiculous, and maybe it is... maybe even shakespeare knew that hanky was a thin excuse but it is today a part of a potent tale of love and my subconscious automatically takes note.👏👏👏
seems in portugal girls sew handkerchiefs of love for men they like, i know in the old days in bengal, girls would sew the husband's initials onto these patches of fabric, a very wife thing to do... seen in many movies, i am almost sure what charulata sews here is a hanky for her hubs.
and ittr... scent. oh what could be more signal giving between a man and woman. musk dear flitting through my head and all the other thoughts of what perfume does to turn on the lovin'.😳
sweetly enough, though she has done this to get after him, she is very offended at his calling her trick and perfume "cheap". what, cheap? nooo, she has chosen one of the best ittr from chandni chowk... telltale i thought. you want to somewhere always get the best for him, even if it's to make him go nuts.
as i look at all the cues of love or should i say lovin' scattered through the episode... orange juice, key, wife on floor crossing pati parameshwar's path, hanky, ittr... it's like some sign language is going on between the writers and the viewers' subconscious mind. at the rational plane, nothing really makes much sense, only that moves toward gh are afoot, but at a stage when it is not possible to show the two in deep romance, subliminal messages of love keep coming. we are kept focussed and tuned, while creatives grapple with trp issues and what's to be shown after marriage, and how to handle barun's leave, and other such mundane matters.
Nice Thought
in the middle of that the revelation that bubbly is an orphan. a couple of scenes with the kid i could bear to watch. they were perhaps trying to build a story with her, but nothing came of it. never quite understood ipk's thing for orphans... jung and freud should watch the show, lots of collective unconscious and archetypes there i think and of course dreams that are analyzed but never enough.
todally beyond all analysis. me serious.
how can a guy, in the middle of a most not spectacular scene look like that and say something so gorgeously. angry, irritated, incredulous, hot, very hot, dangerously hot, barun really got asr well 😳.
Nice one indi👏
I loved the Kaali connection but now that "love showering " gesture is gone..tissues are in...DRY LOVE😆
Really this key thing is the KEY of our IPK...HIS key , Khushi who has power to unlock all the keys or is the key of all the conflictions , either way she is the KEY but that loop was closed when she returned the key to him as there was no use of it anymore .He binded her with him...
This key , unborn key mark in the soup is the Child now...and Shyam will use it so disgustingly...
YOU know what I was watching 232 and and it stroke me ...when Shyam is Ravan and Arnav is Krishna ...Rama because three ladies are preparing him to go to Gupta...over Guptas three ladies standing side by side serving him food ...Ravan with more heads ...lies
Garima is the one who didn't want this truth to come out...Buaji didn't take initiative to tell and Khushi went but for Anjali's sake didn't tell ...That makes more sense as Buaji says "nand kishore aye gaye.." and and there is a sign in the water fight too when Shyam has mud on his fingers ...as Krishna was eating mud instead of Butter and mother Yashoda didn't accept it till he opened his mouth ...shows her the entire universe...There is a lot going on in that water scene.
Loved the thoughts of Why is it ok for him without realizing to be mad at Khushi...just like bas khuch kehna hai...a haq...a right...so even in fight and in anger that haq is there.
Thnx for such a nice piece.
he confessed again and again and when he said "i love you", she knew something was the matter, because maybe she did hear those confessions again and again too.
Thanks Indi.
@red: interesting thought. She knew he is not a one for verbal confession, otherwise he would have confessed on Diwali or at least later during Farq padtha hai, when she did say that she knew its HER he is angry with.
