Khushi is sauntering slowly on the road. The events of last few days reverberates in her mind. On Payal's wedding day she said bua that she will not gonna leave them so easily. And how her words proved wrong in a day. She remembers bua and amma's disdainful words that she is not their blood or they don't want to see her face again. Tears brim in her eyes in scorching pain. She meets some neighbors on the way. They ask her about her sudden marriage; did she get married in the same house of her sister? Khushi nods yes and greets them namastey. They all bless her. happiji also congratulates her, but he is upset as khushi didn't invite him on her marriage. Khushi feels bad. She never wanted the way how her marriage happened. She wanted to invite everybody on her marriage. But capricious destiny fell her in such situation that all her dreams shattered and she had to bear everybody's acrimony.
Khushi knocks the door of her house. When Amma opens the door, an involuntary smile glints her face. But her smile evanesces in moment. Fortunately she lets her come in. her babuji's face brightens up with a big smile to see his baby. But bua gets frantic to see her. she looks at her with anger and despise. she starts to blaspheme her,
What have you come to take from here, sanka devi?
Khushi averts to answer and tries to alleviate the situation. She sits down in front of her babuji and complains him that bua has been discriminating her since childhood. She was a bit late and she just came back without taking her. she asks him, does she miss her? Tears well up in his eyes. He holds her hand to assure her, that he does miss her. Khushi says in constricted voice that she always thinks about him and misses all of them. She looks at her bua and amma. Both of them are so inexorable that not ready to absolve her at any cost. She comes to amma and begs sorry for whatever happened. She comes to bua, pleads her that like the way she always forgives her mistake, same way can't she... Bua doesn't let her beg sorry. She rebukes her instead,
Your apologizing won't turn every poignant words of manoroma sweet.
All agitates to hear her words. This is the fact apparently. bua continues,
I can't forget this ever in my life. Like a shameless girl, without telling anybody, without giving any reason, you just came and stood like a bride. No khushi there is any forgiveness for you this time. Whatever spoiled let it remained spoiled.
Babuji tries to say to forgive her. But who will listen to the mute man. She who transgresses can't get forgiveness at any cost. amma also dithers, but can't say anything.
Even though bua's strident words ravage her soul, Khushi doesn't render. She gets a wooden rod and gives it to amma to beat her. She sits down in front of her, holding her ears. Amam exasperates to see her childishness. She starts to yelp at her.
What is all this? This is all joke? In laughter, we will ignore everything and forgive you?
Amma jerks her vehemently. Bua also assents her, cause she didn't have to listen people's pungent words. People taunted her saying that in one night Gupta family got married how many daughters!
They think Khushi is responsible for all their family's disrepute. Khushi asks her who told those nasty words; she will retaliate them right now. She will not tolerate anybody speaks ill about her. Amma comes to hit her. Payal restrains her and tries to divert her. She wants to serve food as she is hungry and Akash will also come by this time. Khushi also wants to help her, but amma stops her.
You have spoken enough and you have done enough.
She turns to bua for her mercy. But bua is impervious; she tells her that nobody needs her in this house. She pleads her to go away from this house. She tells her to call her husband to take her from here. Khushi gets another bout of extreme pain. Khushi pretends to call Arnav to pick her up from the mandir. Before she leaves she gives the gifts what she got from her in law's house. But bua denies to accept those. Khushi leaves the gifts on the door and leaves. With her eyes filled with hurt and humiliation she looks back at them for the last time. She is baffled at the unfairness of her destiny.
My heart was aching for the poor girl. Since that marriage happened, she has been listening to pungent words and vexation from everywhere and bua is telling her that she didn't hear any karvi baath. How much this innocent girl will endure! I wonder how cum Payal was silent. Didn't she see what the way raizada family treated her since the marriage. It seems like, she did a big sin by marrying secretly, and she deserves all kind of gruel in return. Bua would be happy if she would've married a swindler man like Shyam. If bua's mistake of compelling Khushi to marry Shyam can be pardoned, then why not khushi's mistake of marrying the most eligible bachelor of the town can't be pardoned!.
By the poolside Arnav is working on his laptop, he seems really restless, can't concentrate on his work. He shuts the laptop with a bang. He hadn't been able to completely thwart a feeling of self doubt that had been gnawing at his heart constantly. So far he knows Khushi, she can't be a characterless home wrecker and he already had seen love in his eyes for him.But at the same time the terrace scene imprinted in his heart that also can't be effaced so easily.
Payal calls him to know about khushi, as her phone is unreachable. Payal tells him that
Khushi left the house an hour ago. She was very sad when she was leaving. She called you to pick from the temple, right? Before leaving the house amma and bua scolded her a lot. And she suddenly left. She didn't even eat anything.
She can't continue as bua calls her. She requests him to take care of khushi.
I really appreciate Payal here. So she still cares for her.

Arnav jerks to think about her. it seems that a sharp dart of pain just ran through his heart.
Anjali comes there and asks him was it Khushi on the phone? Arnav lies that it was Khushi. She asks him is everything alright in her house? Arnav says everything is fine and he is going now to pick her up. Anjali suspects something, she asks him, is he hiding anything? Arnav just assures her that everything is fine. She suggests him to go with Akash, as he is also going to GH. Arnav refuses to go with Akash, cause he has some other urgent work to do. Anjali gets incredulous. She asks him what urgent work. Arnav gets a bit annoyed at her interference and replies her that he has some work, so he has to go.
Arnav is rummaging with his car to search Khushi. He gets down near GH and starts to ask everybody whether they saw her or not. Happyiji shows him the way she went. He is groping on the road in search of her. He asks a chudiwala, did he see khushi. The guy first didn't recognize her, but when he shows him her house he recognized her. But unfortunately he didn't see her. Then he finds a chanewala. He thinks she must bought chane from him, as she was upset. he asks him directly about Khushi . He gets surprised, who is Khushi.
A fair and slim girl was wearing a pink saree... Arnav describes her appearance and the guy recognizes her. khushi took chane from him. He shows him the way she went. Arnav is infuriating at her temerity,
Ye larki mujhe pagal karke choregi.

He gets in the car for another search. His spirit sinks when he can't find her. He says in frustration,
Khushi Kumari gupta, kaha ho tum, damn it.
Khushi is sitting on the altar of the mandir. Sadness encompasses her distraught soul. Arnav just passes across the mandir, but couldn't guess that khushi can be here. Khushi starts her monologue with DM.
Why there is such wide smile on your face? Don't think that I came her to be friend with you. I just wanted a tranquil place to sit alone. Or anyway, what you have to do with my worries and tension. You don't even care that I'm missing my home. i'm missing amma babuji.
She gets despondent remembering her parents. Her heart lurches painfully. She says DM tersely that she will not gonna tell her anything.
After a while she realizes why she is sitting here, as she doesn't want to talk to her. She stands up to leave the temple, but she can't leave as people start to come for the aarti. She is in quandary whether she stays back for arti or not. How can she leave the temple without performing the arti. She accuses dm again for doing all this on purpose, so that she has to stay back for the arti. But arti has already started and Khushi also stands for the arti. But she thinks not to perform arti. She thinks DM is playing pranks with her. She turns to leave.
Arnav suddenly thinks that she might went to mandir. So he comes near the mandir. In the mandir khushi's phone flips with someone's footstep. It automatically dials Arnav's number. Arnav picks it and hears the sounds of arti and temple bells. He is also passing the mandir from where he hears the same sound. He is surer now that khushi is in the temple. He gets down from his car and finds Khushi standing on the altar. Khushi's eyes pop out in bewilderment when she sees him there. she turns back immediately tries to merge with the devotees. She starts to pray, but tells DM that she is praying for herself, not for her. Arnav comes to the mandir, but he doesn't find Khushi anywhere.
