Welcome to yet another Reflections, this is ofcourse the Maha Episode week .. so will the do the weekly round up on saturday instead of friday ... Today its the day for Q & A . Before i head there .. lemme say the discussion on the FARAK PADTA HAI track were most interesting .. stimulating .. & fun ... if the makers ever peeped in here .. they shud be tickled pink with the number of versions & the no of visions .. As a viewer & fellow writer .. i have always felt that CONTENT which is GOOD always touches the heart .. now the way it touches the heart is different .. So be it a romantics vision be it a prosaic vision .. be it a flowery vision .. be it a staid vision .. the fact is that this content touched us all .. & it connected with our heartstrings ... it CANNOT be wrong or right .. So please feel free to discuss divergent views ... makes us relive the moment & add what touched us as well.

I have a question sorry for asking so many questions

During Diwali after remarriage - Diwali gift which Arnav gives to Khushi is - pic from Red saree photo shoot - why ?

Is it coz Arnav wanted to tell her that he fell in love with her during this photo shoot or ?

Was'nt it that if he had given Khushi their joint picture she would have been much more happy or

their joint photo which was taken during Preeto's marriage which he had angrily broken ?

What is your POV on this ?

How do u come up with this .. honestly i would never pick up on this ... if my answers make u watch the episodes again .. ur questions make me think hard ... thats the reason i take time to answer

Ok lets look at the pic .. The red saree day .. the day he FELT something momentous .. the day he realised what real beauty was ... the day she trumped him with her simpleness .. the day a young low worker stood up to him for what was RIGHT ... the day he realised that purity of heart was reflected in the eyes of a person .. & shone thru in the radiant beauty of a person ... the day he realised ... HE WAS MADDENINGLY ATTRACTED TO THIS STUNNINGLY SIMPLE GIRL ...

The red saree .. evoked some tumultuous emotions in Arnav .. so much so that he went out of the way to PUNISH her .. to MOVE HER FROM HIS ORBIT .. to PUT HER IN PLACE .. coz thats the day he wanted to PLACE HER IN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PLACE ...

And on Diwali post marriage he had her in that PLACE he was seeing her that DAY ... BY HIS SIDE .. .AS HIS ... the red sindoor on her head a testament to his possession ... wasn't it then a fitting present for Khushi

Now that was explanation 1 .. the simplest explanation .. the other one is .. Arnav always gave Khushi gifts which were in a WAY a sorry .. & in a way a reassurance of what her place in his life was ..

Lets look at the presents ...

--- > Bangles ... the thot of bangles did not strike him .. it was in retaliation of NKs thinking he had the right to buy bangles for KHUSHI .. so he bought her the bangles .. & what he stressed was .. THEY WERE THE RIGHT SIZE ... basically telling her ... THE RIGHT TO U IS MINE .. the ONLY way to U IS ME ... a precursor to what was to happen .. Shyam the wicked evil was lurking waiting to pounce ... but even to contemplate reaching KHUSHI's orbit he had to go through Arnav ...

--- > Now for the next gifts .. the bday gifts ... now go back to the dialog when Khushi & arnav are planning payash milan .. he tells her .. i will send Akash with some expensive gifts to woo ur sister ... & thats what he does with her ( khushi) .. he gives her expensive gifts .. CAUSE HE WAS TRYING TO WOO HER ... he was trying to HOLD ON TO THE SINGH RAIZADA in her name ... Here he showed his classic signs of TO HAVE & TO HOLD .. hence the rough bday cake cutting ... Finally he gives her a ROSE .. a rose from his MOTHER's rose garden .. a final acceptance & a START TO THEIR MARRIED LIFE ..

--- > Then the RAKHI gifts ... ( actually do read the DC where i covered the gifts in its original run .. its pretty comprehensive) ... the rakhi gifts is his way of APOLOGIZING to KHUSHI ... ACCEPTING KHUSHI ... & REPAIRING THE BREAK HE HAD CAUSED IN THEIR RELaTION ... the simple gifts ... he has realised a packet of channas are a guaranteed smile over a designer bag ... its his way of saying your AUKAAT the snide i always troubled u with is what i EMBRACE ... the pearl dori he broke .. when on the first day he insulted her on her aukaat .. he repaired & whats more he made it into a BEAUTIFUL ORNAMENT to be worn WITH PRIDE ... his way of saying i not only embrace u .. ur background .. ur simpleness .. ur innocence all this I EMBRACE ...

---> Then the marriage bracelet gift ... well the earlier fianc had gifted her a bracelet to right? .. & he had overheard La saying .. by putting a ring on left hand he has caught her from there .. & now taken her from right with this bracelet .. basically saying she was his ... & thats exactly what Mr.Raizada wanted .. SHE WAS ALL HIS .. every part of her .. every bit of her .. every little bit of her soul was his .. This was just after they had consummated their relation ... what better way to CELEBRATE HER BEING HIS ..

--- >Then come the KC gifts ... the business ... a way for Arnav to set her free from him ... NO DEPENDANCE .. NO NEED TO BE BEHOLDEN .. cause what brought her to him was MONEY .. the need to see her FAMILY settled ... today there was no need for any such thing to hold them together .. they were together cause of their Love .. what better way to prove his love to her .. than by setting her FREE ... knowing that she would be with him anyways .. another testament to every INSULT he ever gave her ... & whats more .. a wonderful way for Arnav to say I RESPECT UR DUTIES & LOVE TOWARDS UR FAMILY ... I EMBRACE THEM AS PART OF U

--- >Then comes this DIWALI gift -- Red saree photo ... the diwali gift is on the backdrop of a SHITAL who tried to separate the 2 ... a KHUSHI who was willing to go away cause she thought she was IN BETWEEN ... but whats more .. He saw KHUSHI struggling to FIT in .. he saw her INSECURITIES rise to the fore .. she felt .. SHITAL the modern babe was a better FIT ... was there any better GIFT ARNAV could've given her .. BUT the PICTURE THAT WAS PRINTED ON HIS SOUL on HIS HEART .. this was the WOMAN of His dreams .. this was the WOMAN .. who resided in his heart .. this was the woman whose SOUL WAS MERGED WITH HIS ... a brilliant reassurance of the fact that IT WAS HER SIMPLE NESS .. HER INNOCENCE .. HER PURITY .. which HE LOVED ... a celebration of her SELFLESS LOVE FOR HIM ... this is followed by KHUSHI going out to become the Mrs. India .. the insecurity that had arisen in her .. only to be assuaged by the crown ...

There are so many interpretations to the gift ... but i am going to share just the 2 .. hopefully others will jump into the bandwagon & share their versions of the RED SAREE PIC GIFT ...

PRETTY NEBULA's QUERY ...

I have a Question to Ruby and all.

Why Arnav never told Khushi the reason of marriage that night or onward till the Gupta terrace scene before Khushi suicide.

GIRL U HAVE OPENED THE PANDORA'S BOX ON THIS ONE .. numerous times i have flirted with this answer here on DC ... in fact i have asked people a lot of times to think on this line ... cause this gives way to the answer of the real reason for the shaadi ...

Ritti .. u brought up the Anji Arnav dialog of not loving Khushi when he married her .. lemme explain that here as well ...

Isn't it strange .. Arnav sees Khushi in Shyam's arms .. he questions SHYAM .. cause SHYAM was committing ADULTERY ... he gets a version from Shyam .. on how both KHUSHI & HE were in LOVE ... he warns SHYAM in numerous times to STAY away from KHUSHI ... he cuts his allowance .. he insults .. he threatens ... BUT BUT BUT ..

He only MARRIES KHUSHI ... thats it .. he does not Illtreat her .. except making her sleep for a few days near the poolside .. a fact for which he atones by himself sleeping in that place .. he gives her the RIGHT TO HIS ROOM .. he gives up his bed .. sleeps on an uncomfortable recliner in his own house in his own room .. he stands up for her each time someone .. he sees that she is forcefully accepted into the household ... knowing the rest she will win her way through ... HE NEVER THREATENS her to STAY AWAY FROM SHYAM .. HE DOES NOT TAKE HER AWAY FROM SHYAM .. but brings her CLOSER to him ... even after the HEER RANJHA fiasco .. after seeing Shyam & Khushi together .. he does not threaten her to stay away ... in fact as soon as he realises the reason she was with Shyam he becomes contrite ... Whats more the way he monitors Shyam during his marriage .. he does not do the same for KHUSHI ...

So lets retrace the steps to the terrace ... A near death experience again .. 2 in such a short period of time .. both times he is jolted .. but what happens with his sister .. makes him realise that what he felt when he thot Khushi was hurt was similar to how he felt when Anji was hurt .. his life came crashing all around him .. Thats his realisation ... SHE WAS AS IMPORTANT TO HIM AS HIS DI .. thats the day he PLACED HER ON THE SAME PEDESTAL as his Di ...

& Thats what the walk to the terrace was all about .. a possible I LOVE YOU DAMMIT ... he is seething mass of emotions ... on that walk .. only to see KHUSHI IN THE ARMS OF ANOTHER ...

now once again focus on the 2 things he sees ... one he sees KHUSHI in the arms of Shyam .. & 2 he sees her shrugging off those arms .. & he over hears what she says ... if u don't VALUE THE RELATION .. LEAVE ANJALI ...

lets take the dialog .. here was proof she was not committing Adultery .. she was challenging him to leave Anjali to be with her ( thats what Arnav thought) ... she shrugged out of his arms .. it was not Shyam who separated himself .. he also overhears SHYAM's undying love for KHUSHI .. now focus here .. Shyam is committing Adultery ..

lets take the visual now .. Khushi in Shyam's arms ... a visual which shakes his very belief ... cause khushi was reserved for his arms only .. or thats what he thought ...

lets digress for a bit .. lets go to the dialog which arnav tells anji when they discuss khushi engagement .. "Jisse pyaar nahi karti" Its his belief that she LOVES HIM ... he has seen the LOVE during DIWALI .. a love he rejected .. a love he was running scared from .. it took him so much time to reconcile & accept that love .. thats what this walk on the terrace was all about .. HIM ACCPETING HIS & KHUSHI's love ...

But what he sees is KHUSHI in the arms of another MAN ... & saying if u want me LEAVE UR WIFE ... the jolt is SHE IS IN LOVE WITH ANOTHER MAN ... a fact which is soon ratified by Shyam himself ...

hence the dialog ... "AUR JO DARD TUMNE MUJHE DIYA HAI"

So the reason Arnav does not ask Khushi about what he saw that fateful night was cause he COULD not .. & DID not want to HEAR FROM her that SHE WAS IN LOVE WITH ANOTHER MAN ... SHE WAS NOT IN LOVE WITH HIM ... cause the lover was struggling with his feelings for her ...

Now lets look at the reconciliation of the lovers ... on the terrace he tells her u have NO CHARACTER ... cause .. here she was busy giving him all the signs of being in love .. she was dancing closely with him .. she was on the poolside very much part of the almost Kiss ... but she was also pataoing Shyam .. thats what shocked him .. how he could be so wrong about her .. thats what he says in his anger to her .. but but but .. when he goes back to GH .. note all the FBs he gets .. he sees post marriage the love .. & he hears the HOLI talk .."dhadkne waali" finally when she speaks out the truth to him .. & then she goes all out to woo him .. he is reassured of her love for him .. hence the turn back at the airport ...

Now lets look at what made Arnav the way he was ... his belief was TWO PEOPLE COULD NOT BE IN A RELATION FOR LIFE ... hence when he sees Shyam & khushi in a clinch the brother does not hesitate to go to his sister & want to break it off .. & the fact that he keeps Shyam around is for a short period of time .. till his sister delivers .. hence the 6 month marriage clause ..

He also always BLAMES THE MAN ... cause like what happened with his MOM .. in this case as well .. SHYAM WAS IN A COMMITTED RELATION ... SHYAM WAS COMMITTING ADULTERY ... his feelings regards all this for KHUSH is just that she did not return his love ..

Now to understand all this better ... all u need to do is see the scene after the terrace hug (shyam & khushi) of Arnav's drive in the middle of the road .. while he is lamenting the HURT HE WILL CAUSE HIS SISTER .. for himself there is a HURT AS WELL .. a HURT OF A LOVE UNREQUITTED .. a LOVE WHICH IS NOT RETURNED ... A BROKEN HEART ..

RITTI this ones 4 U ...

Ritti that day when he spoke to Anjali with his head cradled in her laps .. yes he was flirting with the truth .. when he said he did not love Khushi when he married her ... what he was saying then was ... The entire household was made to believe this was a LOVE MARRIAGE .. thats the impression Arnav wanted to give ( what a way to protect his wife's & his love's dignity right) ... and thats what he tells his sister .. what u people thought that day .. That we eloped cause we were in LOVE WITH EACH OTHER thats not how it was .. When he married her .. his reason for marrying her WAS NOT LOVE

Yes he flirted with the truth .. but he was being sincere sharing the pain his sister was going through ... he was bridging the gap of the 2 most important people in his life .. both of whom he could not hurt or abandon ... this was his way of reassuring his sister that he would be HER STRENGHT always .. but he did this all WHILE PRESERVING THE DIGNITY OF HIS WIFE .. HIS LOVE .. & HIS SISTERS FEELINGS OF ABANDONMENT ...

I know u recall this is the scene (along with the kidnap return head on lap scene) .. were the scenes i wanted to see most .. my one time prediction on redux .. these were simply the most beautiful scenes of the show .. such depth in feelings .. just hope the forum had understood the character called Anjali .. & accepted her like Arnav with warts & faults .. then the REAL BEAUTY of this scene would totally bewitch u ...

You are simply awesome girl!!! how do you give these kinds of explanation day after day, anwering all the questions. Your response to each of these queries is so apt that it gives you another angle to look at the scene and also understand the character. Thank you!!

So here is my question to you

After the kidnapping when Arnav calls for the first time and tells her "I love You Khushi" Stop crying I am fine. At first Khushi is shocked on hearing that and then next she thinks is that something is definitely not right, as ARnav said those words to her. Did she really believe him when he said that after what had transpired once she found out why he married her? He does ask her how did she find out that all was not well with him, when she first discovers him.

Secondly Khushi being the sanskari girl knew about all the rituals of marriage etc . She always knew that how she got married to Arnav and was fine living with him in the same room. So why all of a sudden one find day she realizes that her wedding is incomplete and needs to perform all the rituals. She did not want to consummate her marriage as they had not done Saat pheras. You know what is funny that they do actually consummate before they got married. To me it seemed that she would have been okay with her once he tells her that he is doing all these because he loves her. Also note, that she also voices her feelings only after he blurted them on her face.

Now for me ...

The walk up those terrace steps for Arnav is what we call a LEAP of FAITH ... those steps were of a man who was walking towards his love .. TRUSTING that the love was RETURNED .. TRUSTING her completely ... thats WHY THE JOLT .. thats why the complete dismembering of his .. when he takes his car in the middle of the road .. note how he cries ... coz his heart ... which finally took that leap of faith was crushed ...

when he saw her in his arms ... his TRUST & EGO take the badgering ... hence he said ... CHHAP GAYA HAI WOH PAL MERE MAN MEIN ...

Now if there was no TRUST ... he would want HARD PROOF of her innocence ...

having said this ... now i am talking more generic ... when there is a love story u r penning .. u can't show ... slight love .. or slight trust ... coz both love & trust can't be conditional .. u either LOVE & TRUST or u don't .. u can't TRUST a little bit ... & u can't love a little bit .. specially not in SCRIPTs ...

Coz for a love story to connect with u the audience it has to be a BIT larger than life ... 😃

I see this at this angle...in 6 months...What changed in between them?

Lets take those happy steps towards the terrace ..he halts with smile and then open the door...Those are the strides of TRUST and love which his injured sister reminded him ...and he realized the true equation of Khushi and him but as you said his trust and ego gets wounded after that...but as I mentioned ...iss Vishwaas peh Vishwaas dilayea...She made his TRUST stronge which shakes in those moments but I am also talking about Khushi whose TRUST was terribly shook as she had no clue why the heck he did it...then she reaches to the point...she makes Jalaibis for him when he wasn't there...Hum nai kyuon jalaibi banaye jab woh yahan hain hi nahin...and the most beautiful dialoges ever,,,,

hum apse larte hain...par aapke jane keh baad aapki raha dekhtay hain...till hits me with these ...iss ehsaas ko eik mauqa tou do...

She wants that trust back same as it is just like him and they both confess during telepathy...

He doesn't require her innocent certificate as he knew she is and that's why he questioned Shyam as he was doing adultery not her...

Now I can build the stronger answer ...During 6 months the dependance on each other increased...Love was there, Trust was there but it was shaky which Khushi fills with her love regardless of his frustrations...hum wohi karaingey jo aap kahaingey...

During 6 months she pulls him in this vortex of her innocence and love that he just could n't come out of it...in these months he observed the Shyam's and Khushi's interaction closely as he did give them no restriction especially Khushi ...especially Holi .She shows him the side of her which he wants since from the beginning...her FOCUS, her Markaz...he is the one she spends all time either in teasing or taking care of and Anjali makes him realize this in front of mirror .and she shows him why he matters and then tells him because he wanted to hear..."Baat Aapki hai issliye"

These 6 months she finds out SHaitan and Rajkumar is one she fell in love with and she admits when she finds him during kidnapping ...and I love how sweetly he said "haan Dhoond liya tum nai.."...She finds out he can put himself in any kind of danger to save her and same is with him...loop closed there for this not trusting or shaking trust...

I hope I made sense for any one including you as I am not good as you are in explaining things.

Arnav goes to shyam for explanation but didnt go to khushi...that night...reason being somewhere shyam had father figure for him... n khushi although close but still a puzzle n outsider... This was about Arnav not confronting khushi...but when shyam lies to him about khushi... Does he believe it or not... He is shattered at that time and with the man who has trusting issues...it is more easy to distrust ..then have this belief that she cant do it... As ruby said..It was about his di's marriage but also about his own heartbreak that night...and this man has always been more of actions than words... At that point...his main aim was to protect his di n khushi from shyam...and only way he thought he could do this was to marry her..and that too forcefully... for him khushi was also part of betrayal... he was about to tell her at one point of time...but stopped...When he got khushi back from temple...he blurted out ..what about the pain you have given me... but stopped..

All i could feel is ..he was mad at her and probably when she was so eager to know the reason...he felt like giving her more pain by not telling her...or may be shielding himself from the reason of their marriage... And another point to note here is...There are many instances where Arnav feels that khushi can be innocent n thus after he confesses to her the actual reason of their marriage...he recalls those moments n also confusion as to why she didnt counter it...For him ..Shyam was bigger danger...n as much as he was danger to his Di..he was a danger to khushi as well..

Here is my view to BOTH and ALL

He didn't tell her ...first he married her because of his ego didn't and couldn't let her go "She is mine" and that's it.

Second When Shyam said to him...Rukawat ..Rani Sahiba..oh that stupid act of his acted as a catalyst and he made it sure he will be his biggest Rukawat ...before Shyam can even think of his sister as a barrier He will be his biggest hurdle and that's what he did ..he married to Khushi

Third he figured out if he is like this with my sister then how can he be good to Khushi or any one ...here comes his protective nature for Khushi as always ...he had put his hand on her in hospiatal and that's exactly what he is doing here sheltering her and keeping her close to him as always ...

He didn't tell her because he knew Khushi is not the Live in type so he can't keep her without marriage ...she will leave him if he discloses the reason of this...she will still leave him if she slightly has any inclination towards Shyam...He didn't tell her because he was afraid of losing her...

When he finds out she is missing from GH and Payal calls her his state is like without life...he looks for her like crazy and then what she does she asks him the same and he blurts out ...jo mujhe Taqleef...as he is in severe pain and agony because of the terrace moment and is afraid to get hurt more ...

Next day she does the same , runs away as she knows now he doesn't like that and she uses it to find out the answer and then he binds her again with Payal and Akash ...

but during this period of 6 months she really showed him her side which he was totally unaware of.Her focus was only him...all the time either in teasing or else and that was overwhelming for him.SHE INDEED MELTS HIM AND FINALLY NAILS IT "BAAT APKI HAI ISLIYE...'

@ Riti4u lovely explanation...I know it really boggled our minds as to why did Arnav not confront Khushi and why did he marry her. Did he marry her out of Love, anger or revenge?

Why he did not confront Khushi at that time...probably because first he saw her in Shyam's arms and secondly the way Shyam had told him the story. In a way he had convinced Arnav that He and Khushi were together in this...not sure how much he believed Shyam.

Why does he marry her is really a tricky question...we can say ...he did to save his sister's marriage...he married Khushi because he knew what marriage meant to her. That is why he never warns her or spies on her, because he knew that for her marriage was very sacred, but he warned Shyam because he was already committing adultery by going after Khushi.

After the marriage, there were many instances where it is clearly visible to him, that she does care a lot for him and his family. Her constant effort on finding why he married her and challenging him. He was her sole focus...when he loses his voice she could still hear him and know exactly what he wanted... her taking care all night when he falls sick due to staying hungry all day. Her talk about her dhadkan during Holy...which he remembered.

Now coming back to some of the queries that were put forth...
I never watched this show from the very beginning... so later on when I did I just went back and watched all the ARnav Khushi scenes. Now why did Arnav bring Lavanya home... I felt he did this just to keep his family pressurizing from getting married and secondly he wanted to get himself away from Khushi thoughts. It was during those days when Khushi had told him that she was going away from Delhi back to Lucknow. In my opinion La was his shield, probably he knew how attracted he was getting to Khushi and as he had always said he would never make any girl reason for his living. Which is confirmed...When La asks Arnav is there anyone else in your life who is important to you other than your DI. What does ASR do he closes his eyes only to see Khushi's face but he answers in negative and walks away without even facing La. From the day he brings Lavanya home to the time he says sorry to khushi, all he does is hurt Khushi and be mean to her, just because he wanted her to go away. If you notice his attitude towards Khushi changes after he comes to know about her parents. He tries to be nice to her and not give her pain, as he understands the feeling of being an orphan. He feels connected to her.

Ok I am guessing ur confused ... please note ... IT WAS LA WHO WAS NOT COMMItTED ... not ARNAV .. he did not BREAK THE RELATION ... she broke it OFF .. he was not READY to MARRY ... but he was in a committed relation with her ... thereby proving him RIGHT ... TO WELCOME SOMEONE IN UR LIFE ... waS to HAVE THEM THROW THE COMMITMENT BACK IN UR FACE ...
Ruby... I know here you mentioned that It was LA who was NOT COMMITTED... but I think even Arnav was not committed...he had brought LA home as live in relation...but what kind of relation was it... He did not go out with her for parties or lunch, he did not like her doing anything for him, he never hugged her or tried to be intimate with her and on the other hand his feelings and attraction for Khushi were growing day by day. Finally it was Arnav who broke off the relation with LA, because he admitted to her that he never had any feelings and probably was just using her for his own good. IF you remember when they break off Lavanya requests him to hug her at least once, because it was always her who hugged him or showed her feelings, whereas Arnav was always shown to be aloof.

Well I think I have written a lot for today, but will write later on on the FARAK Padta Track.

Love your comments here.In pink totally agreed with you he did it because Khushi left him and he couldn't have a chance to clear his side and Naniji's pressure for marriage made him and pulled him into this vortex and he brought her in .His brain was occupied with Khushi .When La turns to grab her bag his anger reaches to its hikes as Khushi didn'thear him and that was something...His ego was hurt.

In red, La was not committed but Arnav was committed for living with her together without any permanentt commitment and when he reaches to this point that he is in love or he cares only for Khushi how can he will be committed to La so he breaks that relation with honesty.SHe knew as jhoot bhi sach lagne laga...

Loved your observation as she requests and he does give her Hug for the last time.

Loved how you comprehensively connected everything to their underlying relationship... her magic in his life and how that sugary syrup is sweetening up his arid soul! Brilliant.

This is one of the few times when her Laad Governor coudn't be his usual brusque self.. and our jhalli gets worried .. genuinely, purely...yes it is his loving heart that she could perceive under the hard exterior that she fell for.. but some where she loved him just as he is.. as this Laad Governor, Rakhsas.. and even missed his daant while he was in abduction.. as best partners are often described to be complimentary!

This phase of IPK, where the build up of gradual comfort and softening leading up to their unabated passions by Diwali was truly remarkably done!

What a lovely point you bring up ... That once she understood him ... His anger was part and parcel of him ... And she would not have him or change him an iota ... The kidnapping dialogue ... When he comes to apologize ... Hum jantay hai ... Ki aap hum say kitna Pyar karntay hai ... She understood the reason for his anger ... Even before she knew the cause if it ...

One of my biggest fears after seeing the Khushi's poolside dream ... When ASR runs after her ... was that we were going to see a watered down ASR ... Much as I liked the scene ... It was after all her dream ... So had to be a little filmy ... Message in a bottle ... Filmy run around the pool ... I wouldn't have able to take this version of Arnav for too long ... My to my delight ... We not only got a joru ka gulam Arnav ... But we did not lose our Arrogant Singh Raizada ...

Actually, in hindsight, the kidnapping worked to there're advantage ... I wonder how the story would have resolved ... ASR's I love you ... Her airport scene ... Where she fights for them ... Her admission ... I wonder what the parallel universe holds ...

The HUG .. this is actually THE FIRST TIME ARNAV HUGS her ... before this moment all the HUGS came from Khushi ..this is the first time Arnav initiated a HUG .. & what a hug .. a hug which truly embraced her totally .. while PUTTING HIS STAMP on her .. HENCE THE PULL ...

With u babe this is one of my fav scenes 2 ... i still remember the time in the last DC when i had to write for this scene .. i was so overwhelmed when i sat back to think about the meaning of the scene ... it was such a beautiful rounding up of their LOVE ... i don't think words were at all necessary in that scene ... & the makers delivered it in spades .. performance .. technicals .. writing .. all came to the party ... a true NISSAR PARVEZ stamp on the scene ...

I don't think its much of a mystery how much i liked Geet a serial made by the same PH .. Geet had a scene in it when Maan ( the hero) tries to apologise to Geet & woo her back ..( post marriage) .. he writes her a letter ..which while reading .. Geet imagines Maan reading to her ,.. it was one of the BEST ROMANTIC scenes i had ever seen ... & then followed this scene .. i call it the gift of the magi ... the entire LOVE Story of IPK was narrated thru the GIFTS ... it was truly mind-blowing .. ONE OF THE BEST ON INDIAN TV ...

Ruby ... This is my first time getting sucked into Indian TV ... And what a votex I am in ... I don't think I have it in me to try anything else ... But you have made me curious ... A scene better than our IPK ... Must watch it ... I, though have no fear of getting drawn into anything the way I was to I PK ... Coz I know I have found the romance to last me a long time ... I am very boring in my tastes ... And hang on to stuff I like ... I still have books form my fifth class that still read over and over ... Pata nahin kuo yek sab Bol rahi hoon ... But you hav peaked my interest ... Will definitely watch it ...

Ipoona, you echo my thoughts exactly again about that dream. Yes, much disappointed with that dream, and was skeptical that time, but this girl did accept him for who he is later on. And, yes we did get our Arrogant singh Raizada much later as well to our delight. For me he was diluted since he thanked Khushi for bringing Shyam back!

Another sliding door question, how everything would have played out if not for kidnapping. You know in fact both the kidnapping confession and the forced marriage justified his character. as but for those adverse conditions, he would taken long to utter or commit.

But Khushi's admission, pleadings at the airport, were heart wrenching and didn't leave any good taste in my mouth. She shouldn't have! Ofcourse that helped to clear his clouds of doubts and ultimately for him to confess. But Khushi was watered down considerably there. In fact I shouldn't open my mouth post hate marriage as I would sound utter cynical about everything!
