khushi walked around the terrace, touching fairy lights, pausing here and there, dreaming of him. he was elsewhere, looking kind of lost and sweet, most unlike his usual nasty self that is, daydreaming about her.
i am the sort who would not be sitting around watching such things. and certainly not on tv... on a daily soap. ahem, not. the. sort.
yet, there i sat, night after night. and now for the past 11 months every day practically, watching these two. years ago, i remember my mother and her friends or aunts talking about certain famous film pairs. there was uttam suchitra, rajesh sharmila, liz and burton, dharmendra hema, amitabh jaya, gregory peck and audrey hepburn...
two actors that kind of "clicked" and became bigger than just the sum of their parts. they exceeded something. they ignited something. and whatever it was, it held sway.
i have of course seen all those pairs. and felt their, for the lack of a better word, chemistry.
but have i ever been blown to another universe? sat gawking foolishly? been addicted to mushy "love" scenes? missed bus stops while gazing rapt at youtube? lost sleep? joined online forum? written protest notes? done analysis (really?) of soap episodes? been content to be laughed at by all?
just watching two people together on screen?
i would do all that, happily, and more, for these two people.
this spectacular jodi.
somehow i love calling them that... a jodi.
i now understand why film makers worked hard to find two people who "click." because they deliver hits and super hits... they're enchanting, make money, bring down cholesterol too i bet.
i just wanted to say i feel awfully lucky to have seen this phenomenon. felt it. with barun sobti and sanaya irani.
i do miss them. but they are on their way to new shows and opportunities. she is about to start a new show, his movie should be out sometime soon, a sense of bated breath and excitement. i wish them both the very best in their career.
and i hope some day, even if it's in the distant future they do act together again. the best jodi ever... as far as i am concerned.
way beyond chemistry... they've got physics, biology, geography, and plenty history too. i have never seen anything like them.
i wish them only and all success... and now running back to my dreaming.
thanks for reading... do leave your thoughts here. i am sure you enjoyed them as much as i did... and they were rare. and needless to mention i am referring to them as a jodi strictly in the professional sense. would appreciate no discussion of their personal lives here. i hope we have happy, crazy, mad but always civil exchange here. take care.
unforgettable, and oh i miss the zing the zap the ughmnthfdt of it all.

so many of you have written such lovely things about the two of them... thank you. we may agree or disagree with each other on many things, but when it comes to this jodi, we seem to feel the same things.keeps the forum warm even after so many months.
