I am of the view that length of a comment hardly matters. What really is important is the effort taken to read the story and ''like'' or write something as a comment.

When the courtesy of commenting by the readers is ignored or thrown off into thin air and the same courtesy isn't returned, the entire process of writing-reading-commenting takes a hit.

I am sorry but I am agreeing to disagree on this point. According to me, all readers are important. Those who read are important, bas!

Who on earth is taunting the ones who write long comments? Enlighten me please.

And what poems are you talking about?😕 IF pe FF's ke alawa poems bhi likhte hain kya?

Dejection tab hota hai jab readers valid points likhte hain aur writers acknowledge nahin karte. Dejection tab hota hai jab a set of friends alone get acknowledgement as against the ones who are not in the close circles of the writers; who don't know the readers on a more personal level.

@Aaluslolwa : I have been reading your comments for quite a few days on this thread now..and the most prominent thing that comes out is that you have not at all understood the motive of the post(if u know what i mean)..many people have tried to shove it to your head in the last few days..but i guess it is beyond you..
First things first..posting a comment with such large fonts and in red colour in considered outright rude to the person your are quoting as well as the TM..so would request ..please refrain from doing that..people here do not have an eyesight problem and can read your comments even if they are in smaller font..You dont agree to the TM or any other member..you can certainly put in your thoughts about it..BUT anyone can see that you are blatantly making fun of people here..because as i said u have not got the motive of the post and are just arguing about lame things..
Secondly..i dont think it is very difficult to understand that you cant criticize a writer openly in a public forum but most definitely you can praise a writer in an open forum..WHY??..its called decency..

I have nothing against this post. I have understood what it implies. My issue is I was actually bullied in to removing name of the author I liked whereas she has not done the same thing with others.😕 In fact she herself has mentioned an author's name. I just want her to practice what she preaches.😊

I feel it is wrong to critisize anyone public but praising them publicly is right.😕 But the TM said that this is not an appreciation thread hence one should not take names as it will cause chaos. But she let a post be in which two authors namely napstermonster and the_rain were pointed out for leaving a story midway. Shouldnt she have asked to edit that comment? Critisizing two authors by taking their names will create chaos and not the other way round as the TM puts it...

Appreciation posts are asked (rather bullied) to be edited out but criticism posts with names of authors will do? Isn't that wrong?

i din wanted to comment here before my papers end but as you are so eager to get some answers that i had to come here and tell you few facts though i have to write papers in few hours...
let me start from the start it was YOU who din read the post and started mocking me for writing this post only after reading the title "as you thought i made this post against you few favorites" your every single comment is beyond my understanding because it was not related to the topic...

i guess every one knew i had some pretty important papers so it was beyond me to keep check over every post though i have personally asked every single reader to delete THE NAMES but in your case i personally got few pms asking me "why you have mentioned the names of the writers"?

i din had any idea that we should not take writer's name you see or else i would have mentioned it in the first post when i made the thread not afterwards... this was suggested by a reader and till then i had already wrote the name of one writer in a comment.. if i would have deleted the name i would have offended that writer so i din edited.. but i guess i should have so sorry in that case..

i said this before and saying it again "i don't know you and you are mere stranger for me so there is no point of scolding you". i don't scold strangers, and if i remember i said sorry to you if i hurted you in anyway after sending the scrap you quoted...

It is her PREROGATIVE to do whatever she wants to !

Firstly, as you were talking about the color of a
comment. Before saying it to others first look at what
color your highlighted quotes in the previous pages are :)

Rude to others - we can see who is rude in their
comments in this thread and who shows attitude.
It is her to decide if her comment is lame or not.
She can say the same thing to you . Using words
like "shove it to your head" is definitely rude to me!

Secondly, yes it is called decency to say words of
appreciation to a writer which is better than taking
names of writers whose stories went unfinshed.
But that is what her point is, why was she chased
until the name of her favorite writer is taken out of
her comment when neither the TM nor others who
put writer names in their comment did that?
Is this called the decency of this thread?

P.S. The her/she I was referring to here is AALUSLOLWA
