I don't think the MU is becoz of the lack of ideas... I read somewhere that the forced marriage track was SP's decision for the sake of TRPs & indeed it was fruitful coz the trp peaked upto 5.4, only to drop later...
If the MU didn't happen that time, it would have definitely occurred at some point of time in Arshi's life... Now when I look back at these episodes, I am glad that it happened at this point... Their understanding developed better with that misunderstanding...
Arnav was about to confess his feelings to Khushi... But if the confession had happened at that point, it wouldn't have been that effective as it was on holi or over the phone or ILU dammit...
I saw this in MF, a post by sudha - "Arnav definitely loved Khushi & was about to confess his love to Khushi. But never ever he was shown trusting Khushi. Before teri meri, when khushi was crying, Arnav assumed that she is faking it. Then the flirting started after teri meri. So basically the trust factor was never established between Arshi till that fateful night.
IPK's charm reduced after the hate marriage track because of the poor execution of the potential plot.
Though the CVs messed up, they showed Arshi learning to trust each other in that phase.
- the purse scene
- heer-ranjha: Arnav understands that Khushi refused the award to help the other girl. So if khushi does something there would be a valid reason.
- car spare parts scene
- exposing the frauds 'shetty brothers'
Similarly Khushi understands her rajkumar behind the shaitan mask more esp Preeto's wedding."
I agree with those words... And to Arnav 'Pyaar' is 'barosa'... His own painful past never let him to trust/love anyone & hence he chose to mistrust Khushi (His heart kept telling him that she is innocent, but he let his brain rule over his heart)... He behaved as the same Arnav Singh Raizada who taunts Khushi with aukat (though it really doesn't matter him)... He just commanded himself to throw away his feelings for her & get back to those boundaries & ideologies he defined himself...
Arnav saw Khushi in Shyam's embrace... Though he claimed to be in live-in relationship with la, he could never hug her properly... He had his reservations... It was so difficult for him to digest what he saw... Arnav said, 'you don't have a character'... But he didn't mean them... Those words came from a man who is hurt... A pot of milk is ruined by a drop of poison... Similarly what he saw was really biting him so much & I could feel when he said 'chap gaya voh pal'...
I still didn't read anyone's takes :(
I totally agreed with you MU was inevitable , but beautiful thing was he didn't need any proof later because he knew the very first day she is innocent. It's just his jealousy and ego was hiding his emotions under the rage.Later he tells her on the bridge..Mujhe batana zaroori nahin samjha...That was his problem that Khushi didn't feel the urge and need to tell him.
\But during Khushi's suicide he gothis clouds clear for once and all...when she says "aap la se aur hum..." and he knew she loves him and later on Airport her clarification makes him turn around...Khushi se door jane main kyuon itni ...
