hi ranogill,

i just saw your still waiting on not cut out for love and felt happy, now this.

thank you for every word of that comment. you read again from the top? i am honoured. absolutely.

i am hoping to get into khushi's parents' mystery soon... hopefully i'll find some really interesting things there.

i can't tell you how touched i am by this comment. i hope i can live up to it.

i am trying to take khsuhi and asr to their next phase, but i need the apst to build the present and future, so i have taken their past and changed it a bit to make it mine. also i feel when you have sucha deep relationship withcharacters, it's nice to see them through different anges and stories, while keeping the core intact. it's like a layers of reflections, slightly different and enriching the central thing.

take care.

Lovely update Indi esp the Maa part. The eloquence with which you dwell into his most feared yet dear and sensitive zone of his mother always touched me. Accidental death of a dear one is some thing one may not be able to get over for a long time if not never. How everything around one catapults in matters of min. The way that garland kind of fell of from his parent's picture on that Barsi, I thought/ wished some how the writers would bring his mother back, I wanted to see that man's face when and if that happens! Yes perhaps very dramatic, but if things can go abysmally wrong in a sec, heavens may shower one with luck as well!
I didn't realize Aravali range crosses Delhi. Have fond memories of it from Mount Abu trip few yrs ago. You made him go even a double extra mile of not just getting the bers but actually plucking them by himself, must have been a hard task.
Didn't realize that kitchen romance was premarital, it was some thing, kitchen with all its literal earthy smells! Khushi, as much of a full of heart heart as she is, could never really mask her desire for him, which makes her love even more endearing.
Also, looking forward to the evening with Dr Verma at the RM dinner table.. and ofcourse Arshi honeymoon, Are you taking them to Singapore??:)
Hats off to your resolve writing amidst the packed boxes Indi. Good luck with everything.

hi horizon,

thanks so much for reading.

you are right about never being able to get completely used to an untimely death of a loved one, especially if the life were taken and didn't end naturally. stays with you, respolving is hard in many cases, because even understanding at times is not possible.

his maa coming back... would hav been lovely for him, wouldn't it?wish such things could happen. maybe in another time frame somewhere deep in the future, when we have understood death a bit better.

you know, my school was located in the delhi cantt area, subroto park, the terrain was exactly as i described it with ber plants everywhere, we used to pluck ber all the time and hang out among those brown yellow rocks. and our princie always said these were the the last bits of the aravali range, the spiny ridge area... so i just went with that. i hadn't even thought of those rocks and shrubs till i had him angry and looking for a place to calm down. strange, i went straight to that place, and the i remembered the ber...😆

dr verma has me most intrigued now... and honeymoon where? singapore is not too bad... ha ha, maybe i should meet them when they come.

checked wiki, it said:

Delhi Ridge, sometimes simply called The Ridge, is a ridge in the National Capital Territory of Delhi in India.[1] The ridge is a northern extension of the ancient Aravalli Range, some 1500 million years old (compared to just 50 million for the Himalaya).[2][3] The ridge consists of quartzite rocks and extends from the Southeast at Tughlaqabad, near the Bhatti mines, branching out in places and tapering off in the north near Wazirabad on the west bank of the river Yamuna,[4] covering a distance of about 35 kilometers.[5]

The Delhi Ridge is said to be the green lungs for the city and protects Delhi from the hot winds of the deserts of Rajasthan to the west. It is also responsible for earning Delhi the tag of the World's Second most bird-rich Capital city after Kenya's Nairobi.[6]
