Its Bizarre! My colleague and friend's driver, Tinku,a young boy of 22-23 years, died when the bike he was riding pillion crashed down a bridge last night 12.30pm. And only yesterday I gave him a shirt to wear during the pujas and he was so excited, wore it and showed it around saying, "Madam, has given this to me. My day is going so well!" I am not crying anymore. Just wondering and praying I gave him some happiness on the last day of his life.

Strange are the ways of Mahishasurmardini! Tinku was not an asura(demon)! He was a good driver, a sweet natured person, always smiling and very helpful! A case of mistaken identity, I presume.

On seconds thought there must be a bigger picture! Maybe if he had survived, he would have had a vegetable like existence.

ASR, caught in an unfamiliar and rather uncomfortable territory of expressing his feelings for his girl, found something that would exactly say what he meant to... a red bindi... as he looked dreamily into her eyes, yet his smart Harvard brain and a deft hand would make sure to align that bindi on the mirror so that it would exactly sit where its supposed to on her forehead, in the center of her eyebrows when she looks at her reflection! No delicate box with a glittering diamond ring, no kneeling down, no holding hand... but an exact culturally analogous act to propose to his girl... that that act takes one's breath away!

ASR, the suave man, who wouldn't believe in any of the orthodox rituals, in the end did give everything what his tradition adhering woman would dream of from her husband much feore they actually got married, a payal (anklet), chudiyaan (bangles) and a bindi (vermillion)! Then she called him most tenderly "Arnavji" and he said "hmm..." most intimately...it is moments like these.. couples like these .. who perhaps can make one believe that no rituals are necessary to feel and respect a couple's unison at many levels!

A beautifully crafted and enacted sight, that ends up alas as their last moment of bliss before it all went for a nose dive. "Ab jab meri manzil nazar me thi, toofan tujhe bhi abhi aana tha kya"??!! (now when my destination is well in sight, O storm.. do you have to hit just now?)

at first glance, esp the first pic, it didn't feel right to me either, but on second glance there is chemistry esp from his side, something he hoped he could recreate...i think once we see him as a diff character, it will get more acceptable to see him opposite other actresses. To me even if Sanaya was in this movie, the magic of Khushi Arnav would still be missing...with that said, It would be a dream come true if Sarun worked in a film together.

don't really have an opinion on Shahnaaz, all i know is she is one lucky gal, she was in Shahid Kapoors first movie and now in Baruns...yah, LUCKY!

I usually post Arnav and Khushi's romantic scenes or gif. But the episode was so heart breaking that thought to post a sad gif.

such a nice woman like Anjali, won't be good for any girl.

Why you, but Anjali should leave you.

He again moves forward towards her. Khushi admonishes him to touch her and warns him not to dare to touch her ever. She huddles away from the place.

Pause: I wish if Arnav would stay back to listen to their full convo. But sigh, he went without hearing the whole thing and made his judgment. As a result both of them had to go through ocean full of grief.

There are lots of bouquets in front of Payal Who sent those flowers to her? Akash?. Khuahi comes there, she is panting in embroilment. Shyam words are reverberating in her ears. Payal asks her if she is alright. She hides her anguish. But Payal says her she is getting tensed in every single moment. She wishes to meet Akash. Both sisters hug each other. Khushi thinks to tell Arnav about Shyam. She scurries fast to meet him. Payal also gets worried to se her perturbation.

Anjali makes a phone call her roguish husband. Shyam's gets happy in premonition that it must be the call to let him know about Anjali's accident.

It seems like the moment is finally arrived what I've been waiting for.

But he gets flummoxed to hear her voice. He thought she is dead by now. She tells him to look up as she is up there. Shyam turns and see Anjali safe and sound standing and smiling at him. The phone drops from his hand in bewilderment. He thinks how he survived after what he did with the car. He gulps his fear to see Anjali moving towards him. Anjali is overwhelmed to see her husband after the accident. She hugs him. shyam pretends to be worried. She tells him in quivering voice that she met a minor accident, but she got so scared to lose him. She expresses her immense love for him and hugs him again. Shyam face became taut in anger; his nostrils are flaring. Anjali asks her how the decoration is. he tells her as she did it, it has to be good. HP intervenes them and tells Anjali that the pandit is asking for her.

Arnav's rancor was justified, how he delineated Khushi to him was unbearable. There was something sinister about Shyam, what frightened me. it was really torturous to write the analysis. But no matter what Arnav will not leave Khushi ever.

Yes, how did khushi think ASR wrote with lipstick? She is sanka devi and to top it poor girl is already tense with what he would talk and cant think straight. Loved how they used to show fine details during those hay days like ASR calling the hospital to tell them to take care of Mohan to the best of their ability and that he would pay Mohan's bills.

Yes, you are right Anjali seemed to be in that car all day long. And interestingly every one but for Shyam were worried for her where abouts and even when she got back Shyam is no where and no one found it absurd. Any way, they can't weave drama without these loop holes I guess.

About ur pondering of ASR not investigating about the break failure, perhaps he would have if not for that storm unfolding immediately. But he didn't realize Khushi's finace was Shyam either, so this is more understandable than that.

ASR, paramedic?:) Usually men are good at first aid, or so my experience, esp smart men, not sure how being smart is related to dexterity of hand.. or may be it does!

On that terrace notably ASR pauses and listens to what khushi would say , and the min she said that " chod deejiye Anjali ji ko" his heart sank and his head and shoulders drooped to abysmal depths. Why ASR didn't charge to Shyam? First, he is not some one who would walk into other's conversations as a eve dropper.. and after he saw what he saw, his brain is dumbfounded.. as it happens naturally with anyone, his emotions took over his brain. I don't think any normal being can utter a word for a long time after they see what he saw and believed there. It's a natural involuntary reaction. It would have been unnatural had he been shown as his original angry fierce self going head on even after watching such an aghast.

I agree that arnav should have listened in full.. but again it's a subconscious involuntary reaction to get away from some thing hurting.. if fire is burning one's hand, one pulls it back instantly.. won't keep letting it burn to see what all it does..and even if he does hear that Khushi is not a guilt party, still it's massive jolt for him to see his mother like sister's life falling apart, esp, becos she revers her hubby like a God!

And that pressure towear saaris after marriage, what is that! since i got married in India, my in-laws side of the family which is HUGE, mostly from Americal also but for the elderly grand parents in India, they made all the babhus wear saaris...and yes i was completely embarassed b/c i hadn't a clue how to wear...somehow managed for the short time i was there. I too was excited to wear saaris for a few days but to feel like i HAVE TO wear it kinda made me want to push back and put my jeans on...thank goodnes we stay mostly in the city where i can enjoy my vacation in comfort when i go...but i can't believe the types of pressures women still face
