Whether to use the name or publishing photos to get more "hits" it's quite normal in media world. Indian TV world hasn't seen anything like IPK before ( I mean the phenomenol success) In recent times. That's why they were NOT able to produce DVDs. They were not ready to cash in at that time. If this was a show in USA ... All the FanFiction and analysis you write would sell for 7-8 bucks each ( and 4 lion and SP would take a share from it). Atleast some books by 4 lions on " behind the scenes" with photos would be published by now. Some crazy conspiracy theorist would write a book on "why IPK shut down" blaming the Talibaans or something! Some Lunatic would sue 4 Lions saying IPK was originally written by him, not by Gul! None of this has happened. What has happened is quite mild compared to western ideology of media business.

Indi... I told you how much I loved LOST. I was glued to it for years, deciphering and arguing on theories with people I never met ! 😆 After the show ended the production house ( Bad Robots , JJ Abrams) sold every piece of item used on the show on Auction ( that seemed pretty low to me). Some rich guy bought the Dharma VW van for hundreds of thousands of $. My Asian self got over the Culture Shock by discussing with my online buddies about our wishlist ( what we would buy ..if we had the Money) ! We went by " join them if you can't beat them" philosophy. I often wondered what I would get from IPK set if the opportunity was there...😛 I would love to have the green couch or the wicker chair on the side of the pool. What would you want?

* IPK was a milestone for my life... No amount of cheapness by PH / channel or anybody can take away the joy I felt watching IPK. Am also grateful for a bunch of wonderful people I met on BFTP. I am Kool with everything else. Love your photo of Sheeshmahal. Don't they look like a couple exchanging wedding vows?
