She was the matriarch of the house. She had brought up two emotionally challenged grand children , had remain solitude to her family's happiness , held her position in the worsts of time and even when her authority was challenged .

Q6 One thing you do not like about her character?

Nani was someone who had always been able to challenge Arnav and bring him to her level , but on the other hand she had stopped to rise where bonds of tradition were concerned. Lavanya's urban nature was single handily declared to be unwanted and she was without given a chance declared an outsider.

Nani's character flaw was more highlighted when later she didnt object to Sheetal , who was a step more of what she had never liked.

Nani's act of holding on to Khushi when in that moment everyone had been in two minds [the remarriage day] had shown that however she might have reservations but she was a good judge of character to an extend that she hadnt blamed a family member of the crimes done by another member of the same family , even though it had cost her own daughter's life.

I learned to hold my judgements on people im not much aware off.
