Truly ipoona, the initial Khushi was innocence, grit, and life personified, just love those...not surprisingly he is smitten all over.. She was just infectious! You are so right about who blinked first. Me read that that falling of her initiated his rise... Rise of that warm, tender self inside of him lying dormant for a long time now!

True, they had both backed themselves into a corner. And of course ASR never did complete what he started to say to her to prevent her from leaving his office in the first place.

But he had caught her... Not just that first time ...

Their first contract... As unfair as the one that follows... and just as binding... He is starting to tie her to himself with whatever means necessary...even as he will continue his reign of terror !!!

Not for one moment does he think she would back down. He advances forward once again... He knows she would come back fighting... She steps up to meet him...

She has no other option. When he walks by unconcerned while she sits there nursing her arm, that is the final insult on top of the termination letter.

She has to let him know she matters, that he can't just chuck her out of the window like a broken bangle.
