poor arnie

well he did loose on his first ever deal man

but its good naa for a day he can chillax

and not worry about work

or have aman call him every now and again

gosh that was so cute right

hope he is ready for it

khushi: wah.. hoe cute na arnavjii... but why arent there many people on the roads arnavji.. she asked innocently...

arnav starred back in horror: because not everyone here are salman or not everyone would have such a deal!!

khushi hit him on his shoulder

arnav: ouch that hurts man!!

khushi: btw arnavjii you did your college here only na??

arnav: not here khushi... thats at BOSTON.. HARVARD

khushi: hmm... so you must have gone out in rains many times na... even there it will beautiful right

arnav: hmm.. i loved the rainy days

khushi: wah... really... she was all excited to know but it din last long

arnav: yeah.. there used to be many off.s so i could prepare well for my boards!!

khushi hit her head with her hand : huh...

arnav: what!!

khushi: arnavjiii...how can you be like this arnavjii

arnav smiled: thats because i was not ARNAVjii that time khushiii

khushi blushed and after lunch they continued walking when suddenly khushi noticed a girl jumping in the rain under the tree while a man was playing music using a guitar nearby

khushi: arnavjiii... see that.. how much he enjoys the rain

arnav chuckled: khushii.. he's not enjoying.. he's earning

khushi: what!!

arnav: yeah.. ppl don beg in this country.. they earn few dollars this way instead...

khushi was suprised at that and she rushed to the old man jumping out of the umbrella with arnav screaming behind her

arnav: come here khushiii

khushi ran over to the old man!!

khushi: hi uncle...

the old man stopped played and looked up to her curving his lips for a smile: hi...

khuhsi: hi i am khushi... you love playing in the rain??

old man: hi.. i am george... yeah... yeah i do...

khushi: but why don you dance as you play.. it will be more fun??

arnav starred at his wife's madness in horror: unbelievable man!!!

the old man smiled looking at her chirpiness: do you have any song i can play for you??

arnav smirked: here comes the fun.. these guys arent gonna know her salman songs

but it was arnav's turn to be suprised

khushi: yeah!!! can you play MY FAVORITE THINGS from sound of music!!

arnav's eyes literally popped out in shock and his mouth struck open at what he heard!! did khushi just say an English song???

the old man looked at her: haah.. you are a fan of SISTER MARIA

khushi smiled nodding her head!!: bachpan sey

the old man looked at her and she hit her head : i mean from my childhood... you know thats the only song i know.. my husband listens to more english songs and she pointed at a shocked arnav

the old man: hey!!!

arnav nodded his head with a smile and the old man started playing his song as khushi stood grinning wide and tugged her hand inside arnav's .. the little girl who was playing came forward near the man and she held khushi's hand pulling her to dance with her...

the crowd had gathered and as khushi looked at arnav who was staring at her meaning not to go she winked at him much to his annoyance and joined the girl( plz don feel this exaggerated!! this happens abroad and i have been a part of such crazy happenings)

as khushi was lost in dancing with the kid many other little kids from the crowd joined them as a few teenagers too joined in and as the guitar played faster the mood for dancing was perfect and the drizzling rain added the fun to it...

arnav stood staring at his beauty in front of him as she swayed carrying the little girl in her hand with other kids rounding her in glee

she twirled around the kid in glee and then picked another kid holding he rhigh in the air making the kid smile

the old man sang aloud and

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings

eveytime it was time for the chorus khuishi joined in with the children screaming:

the crowd laughed and so did arnav...

khushi turned looking at him who was smiling at her and she felt so good to see him that way...

the old man started the next verse

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels

( khushi looked at the little girl in front of her and pulled her two pony tails shaking he rhead with a smile)
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles

Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings

( the kids opened their arms as if to fly and khushi did the same chuckling with them)

and they sang together

arnav smiled looking at the entire crowd joining her madness in singing ... least did he imagine he would be standing on the roadside in the rains listening to music and adoring his wife... khushi was the best thing that had ever happened to him

a kid jumped in water spalshing it around laughing out loud

khushi walked over to arnav pulling him in as he refused with a smile... she requested with a smile but still he din nodding his head...

she knew it was hopeless and went back to the kids pulling her

the old man started the next verse now

Girls in white dresses and he coughed breaking his voice and suddenly khushi felt a change in voice... it sounded familiar and when she turned she could see arnav singing standing near the old man with his hand on his shoulder and the old man playing the music

khushi starred at him in utter suprise ... arnavjii...

arnav smiled as he continued

Silver white winters that melt into springs

and he walked closer to khushi and hugged her side ways as the crowd joined the chorus with the couple

These are a few of my favorite things

khushi sang it so loud that it was obvious what was her favourite now...

the old smiled at the adorable couple

and finally let out the last verse

When the dog bites
( and the childdren laughed)
When the bee stings
( sshhh)
When I'm feeling sad

and khushi pouted her lips as arnav hit her head with his fingers playfully

I simply remember my favorite things

and khushi hugged arnav and the entire cloud was applauding in the fun they just had!

the little kids pulled khushi down kissing her cheeks from either sides simultaneously...

as arnav stood smiling more and the old man walked to him pulling him into a bear hug.. the entire crowd then dispersed and the old man was glad to see his money box filled to the brim...

he had never sung so happily and he looked at khushiii

he took out a chocolate from his bag and gave it to her: thank you.. thank you very much...

khushi smiled as she got the choclate and gave it to the little girl beside her who jumped away smiling with it

old man: you have earned me enough!! i have never sung this song in ages... GOD BLESS YOU MY CHILD>.. is there anything i can do for you?

khushi pulled arnav: you have uncle!! showed me a side i have never seen of him as arnav smiled nodding his head

arnav: and so did you khushi.. i never knew you liked an english song!

the old mans smiled at the adorable couple as he saw the love in their eyes for each other.. so pure and so true

he blessed both of them: be happy like this always!!

khushi smiled wide at him: keep smiling uncle !! why dont you come to india.. you can try in hindi films you knowww

arnav chuckled as the old man smiled: i shall.. but not for films .. to see more people like khushi...

arnav held his head in pride as khushi smiled happily and they continued their walk bidding good bye to the man!!
