The starting was heart wrenching. I feel very bad for Arnav and Anjali. They both lost their everything at such a tender age but didn't leave each other's side ever. I used to admire their relationship in the show and you are making me miss those moments again. I remember this particular thing from the show where Anjali makes Rakhi for her Chhote. You brilliantly wrote the scene:)

Aww Khushi is so cute. She wants Arnav to rest but ASR is ASR, workaholic..!!

I loved reading the flashback part. I like when Arnav shows his love and affection for Khushi but I love when he yells at her and tries to ignore his feelings.

i like anjali and asr too... trying to feel that relationship as deeply as i can. have a couple of bros... it's a strangely intense relationship. even when it feels light and theek hai, chhoro, it really isn't.

that in pink... so true. hi intense feelings around her, tender or mean, all were fabulous, as were hers.

Wonderful update. I just love the way you weave your own story in the IPK story. Also the Arnav here is such a darling, in the pool, he laughed and humoured Khushi !! Wow !!

Chapter 10

I really loved the first part. Anjali's thought process as her little brother is about to come into the world. Her knowledge that her dadi and papa would have always wanted to have a boy as a first child, yet she loves her younger brother unconditionally. The thoughts of an elder sister who looks upon her brother with motherly love is beautifully written. Don't how much of this part is factual, but I feel the emotion definitely is.

The flashback is too hot. My thoughts, is it only the second time we are visiting this period of time, the first one being the very first chapter about the kiss. I am not able to recall if there was any scene mentioned between that one and this scene. Really interested to know how these two ended up here after their fights, Lavanya, etc. in your story. Oh, BTW, La has yet to make her entry, I presume.

Emotional part where, Di, Nani, Mami, NK meet Arnav post recovering from coma. But, inspite all, how does one escape the feelings of jealousy. 😆 Nicely put in an otherwise heart touching scene.

Yet to read the next one. Soon, hopefully. 😊

This one is quite engrossing. A very touching first part. Parents' fights play havoc on young minds. And a very young Arnav coming up and assuring his Di, 'main sab theek kardoonga'. Maybe at a very young age, he realised that it was up to him to set things right for his Ma and Di. Arnav Anjali bonding has always been so naturally portrayed, we are not far away from those scenes on our thread. He just had to hug her so, tell her about Ma. Ma was there that day, but both sensed her differently.

A happy second part, bringing a feeling that things are coming back to normal. Hope it was ok not heeding to the doctor's advice. 😳

Loved the flashback, Arnav and Khushi both looking for answers, both hurt with the turn of events, both end up yearning for each other. And the man ends up making a hasty decision. Eager to see what happens next.

Shyam babua, watch out, a man dressed in black is seeking to sting you. I am sure everyone is waiting to see the dhulaai. 😆

durga, so happy you liked. simple as their story might seem, there's is complexity of a deeper kind there. so easy to become pedestrian and flat or go to the other extreme and become too convoluted while describing their relationship. how they work out their feelings for each other was always fascinating, i feel they need to be seen in the context of that.

glad the anjali arnav thing feels real. kind of pivotal his relationship with her. she is the only one and he the only one of the nuclear immediate family they had.

yeah this shyam i really want to fix. let's see of i can get him. wondering should asr be in white shirt when hammering him or a suit... i want him to be in james bond mode for this special occasion.

see the doctor recommended, didn't insist, so... nah, he's alright. tough boy he is.
