One more thing.. even if we report, are the mods taking any action against these people.. they just close the posts.. so what is the use? They come back and post the same pathetic thing again and the cycle continues..

Mods need to take action against these instigators when we report those. but I don;t see that hapepning here. If that was the case, then these people would have been banned by now or their Wil raised to much higher level than they currently have if at all they have any..

@Puja - I understand completely. It doesn't help the cause when you stoop to the level of others. And a vast majority of us do ignore already and I would encourage everyone to do the same. That is from our side what we can do.

But, I still have this question for mods. If a bully on the bus calls your child's friend names in front your child everyday, and your child ignores it, does it make the bully's behavior right, should he be allowed to continue because there is no response and can you blame your child if one day he finally stands up and cusses the bully out saying SHUT UP. We would not tolerate this scenario, but seems like we are asked to here. That's my little sticking point.

they are really tired making posts after posts for the last two days. First of lack of subjects, second every thread will have to run at least 10 pages, subject should be there, member availability should be there, contribution from the fans should be assured, but the last one is the most vital one. Otherwise the thread won't run. So, i just want the mods not to close the threads, it is a punishment and a liability on them that these threads are open, directly hitting the ego of the topic maker. Let them run those threads successfully.😆

Ok yes Fans can ignore or report the mockery and Bashing that happens against Barun and you

But we should also realize as humans we all have limit on how much we can take, we cannot always be patient and take the garage that is thrown at us. Most are saying we are wishing ill for "Bashers" but they are not saints either they wish ill for us and Barun everyday. They want Barun's Movie to be a flop, some want him to have a divorce, some wish he just dies out of the blue and what not.

If someone says this about your family member will you take it and have patience, if someone says this about your husband will you take it, and if someone says this about your favorite person will you take it and keep your damn mouth quiet. I hope everyone sees the two side of this Story or whatever you like to call it.

If a child gets bully the #1 thing he/she must do is run to help, you cannot always take everything in your own hands and same applies here we want the higher authority to look into the matter and do something about this fiasco

I don't wan't to seem petty, but I honestly cannot believe that members like Omnipotence are still on IF. Seriously. It doesn't make any sense to me. Yes, ignoring is the right thing to do, but that doesn't give these individuals the right to continuously make new posts to bully the actor that this forum specifically caters to. it's ridiculous! The fact that he is happily making the same degrading posts, instigating the same fans and is responsible for this entire heated discussion when he is no more than an immature basher is a bit confusing to me. Why aren't any final, concrete actions taken against a member who obviously shows no signs of wanting to stop? He's here calling for a revolution against bashing in general, but targeting one actor, one forum and one fandom seems a bit immature to me, especially when the message should extend to every forum on this website. Ultimately they look foolish, more of a hate group than a revolutionary group. Creating pages specifically to instigate members and take screenshots but still allowed to come back? I don't understand the logic. I mean this with all due respect, but I really think more stringent actions should be taken against these individuals who clearly and openly declare that they are here to make a ruckus. I see threads that go over 100 pages that don't get shut. As one member suggested, maybe it is not a bad idea to add one more moderator who will be available when your timings clash and render you unavailable. You do an awesome job and we know you put in your best effort, but these bashers just do not get the message. They can't be tamed. They don't want to be. A person who openly admits to not wanting to respect does not belong in this forum.

See. I just don't get how individuals that happily admit to creating these sorts of posts (as shown below) should be dictated the same conditions that lead to a temporary ban as people who just want to maintain peace. WL increases don't affect them, I just think more radical steps should be taken. That is again, solely my opinion.

And this is something I've even asked Saara about too...Why on earth can't they take action against the member? Last time I remember, there is still such a thing as temporarily banning someone, right? Why not do that. And Saalu mentioned this above as well. 👏

Then again, a basher will bash - by hook or by crook. What are MIDs for?? (and how can mods control that?)

Unlike in asli zindagi where you can certainly take legal action against an offender, I don't see much of a solution here. 😕 It's one member who can have many faceless names. It's just not possible to control the bashing.

Great topic, I wonder how I missed it so far and just saw it and went through the last 2-3 pages of responses.
The objective of the basherz is pretty clear; they are here to rile up and agitate the fans and take pride in creating fan wars. The days of actual criticism are long gone. The ultimate aim being that they want to close down the forum that they call Sobti shrine.
I cannot entirely blame the Mods; i think they have their hands full with the volatility in the forum and usually if Mods are available and online they to take the needed action.
There was a time when the negative criticism and particularly the name calling and the inhuman bashing really affected me; now I'm just amused. I think one has to have a really pathetic real life to spend all your time and energy discussing hate while hiding behind a faceless id in the online world. I mean just imagine how pathetic it must be to wake up every day and find new ways to annoy Sobti's fandom😆😆.
My simple advice; just ignore. If they open 5 posts in a day and no-one but their own toli responds they will automatically find another way to channel their energy.
One thing this forum has taught me is to ignore that what i do not agree with. People here rarely change their perceptions so trying to do that is futile; respond to what you like, move away from what you don't.

I know Neha, that's why I asked this of the mods. Freedom of speech is not absolute. We cannot incite hysteria. We cannot make threats to harm people. There are consequences. Similarly, there are curtailments to free speech here.

Now I can take criticism and others rights to say they hate Barun. The 1st Amendment in the US allows racists to fly the confederate flag march for racial supermacy of whites. But the same 1st Amendment allows a white person who is not the target of these marchers to assemble and call them 'pigs'.

So, if we cannot hurl abuses on IF, then we should ALL abide by the curtailment of freedom of speech to keep the forum safe. We are being asked to watch the parade but not exercise our rights. That's a no go. There should not be this diference.

But I do ignore the posts. It's amazing to me how much they pay attention to Baun and his fans.

When someone is banned they will be more active with MIDs. Last day one of our famous opposite group member PMed me saying this is her MID ID as her original one got banned. She could not tolerate that I could not recognize her, in fact I recognized her much earlier itself. I have reported that now to mods.

Some people thinks they are above everyone and they can lead others too, just limit the guiding and leading in their side itself, we know how to deal things here in this side.

As puja said, many knows what BS fans care capable of. So, don't test the BS fans.
