Honestly these awards donot matter much, but if predudice is openly practiced, either by the channel or the PH or the jury, thats kind of sick!

no, a big ph will typically have or be involved in 2 or 3 shows running simultaneously so i think they wouldn't be expected to choose just one name or just one show. i'm sure their lead actress from their other show was also put forward but didn't make the final cut, and is nominated for fresh new face only. yep, i agree that barring a couple of prestigious industry ones these awards dont matter much, especially to him, but i'm sure that bias was practiced if it was the ph who left barun off the ipk nominations. i know every barun and sarun fan nominated him on the ita website, so he should have been a nominee in the popular vote category - the jodi nominations will be out soon and i'm waiting to see what happens with that.
