As Khushi felt his presence,
Her eyes opened , to the truth that
Arnav is, was and always will be
Her protector
As she moved into his shadow
She knew he will be the wall that will shield her from all harm
As he proclaimed " pati Jo hoon"
She knew that he will fulfill it, with man, vachan and karm
( with his heart, his words and his deeds)
His gulal colored fingers gently caressed her cheeks
Conveying the love his lips refused to utter
Their eyes met, many questions were asked, and many answered
Today Arnav and Khushi may refuse to see the reality of their love
But we saw the reverence with which he touched the spot
Where khushis fingers had kissed his cheeks
And we also saw, the way she sealed his touch with her fingers
Warm and secure in the care of her biggest "tormentor"
