Barun's interviews are always contradicting & even if I want to believe him, I can't make myself to do so.

uske interview hamesha contradicting hote hai kabhi kehta hai mai bored ho gaya hoon usake ekdam pehle interview mai bola tha ki serial ka concept aacha hai role challenging hai ye sub aacha tha to 8 month mai bored kaise ho gaya 2 year mai bored hota to samaz sakte to ab kehta health issue uske nov ke toi ke artical mai usne kaha tha ki balki uske dad ne bola tha ki yehi samay hai aage badhane ka to mai badha aise bahout interview hai jo contradictory hai.

i just wonder sometimes why the actors of other serials are not as overworked as B arun says he was. Are the other production houses following a different pattern of working hours or is it just Barun that couldn't handle it. Then I think that ipk didnt use the side characters much and put a lot of burden on the leads, but then sanaya didnt complain as much about the work hours or maybe she did and i dont know about it. but the difference maybe that Barun also had to play the role of a husband at home.

@Bold:- This I think is the major reason for Barun being burnt out. The other PH work very good with side characters and plan their shoots well ahead and also they have 2-3 locations where they can shoots. The other PH also give time outs for their leads to recover and go on holidays. Karan tackker did that during the shooting of Behna, VD took about 5 weeks of leave from Jan for his wedding and honeymoon. You hardly see VD's body double in MB as the track has already been shot much before VD went on holiday. 4Lions had pathetic scheduling and everyone from Abhaji, Akshay, Karan, Daljeet, Deepali have complained about the scheduling. Can you believe that they had only one room where they did the entire shooting. Of course you would be burnt out if you had to work with such a pathetic PH. And earlier with Geet, both Gurmeet and Drashti fell sick quite often when they were working with this PH. So I would say it is an inherent flaw working with 4Lions.

I remember when he quit some loser bashers told me that he has inside source tat he got 2 films (besides mamr) including Ekta's film,,(the rumor then) , I wonder where thoes losers bashers n .lairs are now

God, just stop bashing him up, will you?! He quit the show because he wanted to. Thats it. Period. Afterall its his goddamn life, isn't it? He is answerable to no one but himself. Doesn't matter whether a film came his way. He CHOSE to step down. Isn't that enough?

@bold: I may disagree with you on a few other things but I absolutely agree with you on this. I thought a PH should have at least 2/3 weeks of banked episodes for a show to go on air. So from that how disorganized should have one PH been, to loose that advantage and to degenerate to a level of shooting on the same day for the same day's episode. I wonder how dis functional their work schedule should be to reach this stage!

@Bold:- The problem might have been that 4Lions is a small PH and it can't manage more than 2 shows on air at the same time. When IPK started Geet had steep decline in the quality - it was a known fact that 4Lions got everything including technical crew/cast from Geet on to IPK. Still Geet was able to go on because Endemol was other PH involved in the making of the serial. But with IPK 4Lions were the sole producers or rather the major players here and when they had too many things on air, the focus and attention on the show declined and it declined rapidly. There were no good side stories developed/no logic in the stories/characters were wiped out with stupid storylines like Sheetal track and Mrs.India track. So basically for the PH in the last few months, IPK was something akin to a burden which they had to carry on and so there were no banked episodes and no shoots were canned way ahead of time and actors were called on the day of the shoot. This is ridiculous. It seems Gupta house was demolished the next day after remarriage - What about Garima and the past ? Shouldn't they have some scenes showing Garima/Arnav/Khushi coming to terms with the past. And then the whole creative team quit.

So I would say a lot of factors contributed to the demise of the show but one thing that really makes me angry is the callousness with which the PH dealt with everything post remarriage. I feel that had the PH been little professional and closed off the loops properly instead of giving stupid tracks, this bitterness could have been avoided and IPK could have gone in history as a very different show. But got to give it to 4Lions - they butchered everything that made this show special and in the end the show that ended was not the IPK that was when it was started.

yeah even me want to know where is Ekta and yasraj films...someone made big post that Barun got best award in one of award cermoney becoz ekta want to do movie with him ...that award cermoney promoted by Ekta ...how funny ...
