CHAPTER 2

Khushi was heading towards her car followed by payal and rohan . her PA soumya opened the door for her

k:soumya ,isn't everything ready for todays meeting with mr sharma I just wanted to get through with the deal . it will give our company 250 crore profits

R: (in a hurt tone) manu, iam your friend, as you say your best friend then why do you want to do business with that b**terd .even my company can do this deal. He'll eat you live

k: rohan you're my best friend ,I agree but business is business only profit counts there . I just want to make a deal that will benefit my business and my family, no hard feelings ok

R:ok(not in a happy tone)

Pa: mam , sorry to intrupt the conversation but mr Sharma is missing since last night , his secretary informed it in the morning

k: what happened?

R: maybe he went for a weekend with his present mistress that 20 year old girl who is now his pa

k: enough of this talk rohan . lets not interfere in others personal life

k: (to soumya)ok lets postpone the meeting

p: are we going to talk only business over here . man, what a bore di lets talk anything else. Or I'll be fast asleep when I reach collage. Then I may not get to sleep during the lectures

k: (playfully holding payal's ears and acting to be angry) payal are you going to collage to sleep or to study

p: chill di chill iam not a bookworm and a front bencher like you . the lecturer is literally boring us to dath with his melodramatic voice and reading. The best thing left to do is to sleep

k: let me see your marks then I will decide wheter to cut your pocket money or not

p: sorry to disappoint you but iam still first in class , so you can't cut my pocket money

k:I know dear after all you're my sister

Mr shark checked his reflection in the mirror. It was perfect. Nobody will recognize him as his disguise was pefect.

It had taken him about half an hour to get ready. First he put on a foundation and on top of it his disguise of an old man of about 50 years .he then fitted a beard and a moustache (both grey in colour)even the most vigilant security personnel would not be able to tell that his face was not natural

He was the master of disguises nobody ever knew his real identity

"khushi will itself tell me about her plans and routines . Her whole cabin and phones are going to be tapped" he thought

Mr shark soon put on the uniform of a bsnl worker (a telephone company) and adjusted his badge. It read

"sunil kumar

Senior operator

bsnl"

it had taken him 20 minutes to create the badge. He had carefully taken his photo updated it into his laptop ,fed all necessary information including its logo, printed on the a4 size paper ,cut it carefully and laminated it . and the badge was ready. He checked his bag .everything was in it . the two tapping devices – one each for the two phones in the office, a bugging device to record the conversations in the office .a transmitter would transmit it to his destination. he had used batteries with 3 month validity which would disintegrate after 3 months by itself and therefore won't be an evidence to this killing which was his own creation.

Satisfied with his work he whistled happily as he walked away from home ,heading towards khushi's office

the security stopped the old man at the entrance

" who are you?why are you here .show me your identification"

(he showed the id card that he had made 20 minutes back , but it looked so natural the sides had been bent and the edge was soiled)

"the telephone company received a complaint that the phone in the md's room is not working and must be repaired before he comes. So here I am "

"Ok let me check your bag"

(the security checked it but didn't find anything extra ordinary

"your company seem so vigilant with security"

"yes not even a fly will enter this place without clearing the security. We will even give up our life to save our boss"

Ya not "even " a fly thought mr shark

"oh, so is he so good to you all"

"not he, but she .she is a gem . She looks her employees happiness before her own"

"ok let me finish my work"

He soon enters the md's cabin and fits all the bugs .no one would ever find them . they were so perfectly hid

As he left the office he sees khushi entering the office ,he thinks

she looks more breath taking than in the photo he had seen. Its gona be a lovely time when we meet in person you will be mine before you leave this world oh it would be so exciting

soon khushi passes him. She doesn't notice him

he leaves the office and headed to the old steel factory where he had a big 'fish ' to fry. It's name was mr Sharma- the owner of sharma group of companies

Khushi was thinking about arnav, his talks, his expressions his eyes his desirable cheeks , his mannerisms and the way how he had touched her cheeks yesterday .she felt that place again and blushed. She was thinking

Why did he want to meet me today

Maybe to tell about how he enjoyed the evening

Or maybe to tell me that I am like a good friend

Or maybe he may tell that he loves me

Or even he may propose me

We may go to Hawaii for our honey moon

There we will…………….

Stop it khushi , a guy took you for a date last evening that doesn't mean that he loves you or will marry you. maybe he may have a girlfriend or maybe even engaged . no it can't be so – the way he looked at me last night is the proof that he loves me

Does that mean that all guys that look at you that way loves you?

Maybe he is behind my money

No he richer than me

Maybe he will be a good friend or may be……….

Her thoughts were disturbed by rahul who had come to give her a file

R: hallo khushi ,I am standing here for the past five minutes and you didn't notice me eh, what!!!the great KKG is daydreaming . let me call the Guinness world of records khushi who doesn't waste a single second spend 5 min daydreaming

k: cut it off rohan why are you here ?

R:cool khushi cool . I was just joking this is that naidu's file you asked for

K:thanks buddy

There was a knock at the door .

Mk come in

Arnav entered with a smile . he wore a smart black suit . he looked soo irresistible .khushi's heart skipped a beat.

k:Rohan if you would excuse us please

R(in a hurt tone) ok khushi

k: so?

a: so what ?

k: why did you want to meet me

khushi's pov

Oh god I didn't even haave time to check my make up. Oh I didn't even notice that it was 12 . oh that rohan….hope that I look presentable. Maybe he would ask me for a date

End of pov

a: hallo ,in which dream land are you?

k: sorry I was thinking about something.

a: ok I just came to meet you to talk about a business deal. It's a place 15 km from Mumbai. Today it is worthless , but tomorrow you would get enormous profit from it as geologists found a rich mine of iron over there . They haven't announced it yet. Maybe in a week or so they would announce and so if we buy it soon we would get enormous profit. Would you like to see the place?

Khushi's cloud of happiness burst, all her dreams felt scattered. She soon returned to her business mode and said

k: ok let's go
