[QUOTE=samin6]Episode 66 and 67
-----------------------------
I was thinking- Arnav Bitwa and Khushi Jee- Aap ke kitni naam hain?( How many names do you have?
OK after every accident I kind of become more religious and so even in IPKKND was remembering that apparently Biwi Ayesha (RA) when pleased would say, "Allah and his prophet Muhammed (pbuh)" and when upset with her husband would say, "Allah and his prophet Abraham (pbuh)".

Let us see how our Arnav Bitwa calls Khushi --
- When Angry- Khushi Kumari Gupta
- When concerned - Khushi
- When wants to derogate her- Uss Khushi
- When irritated by her- Uss ladki
-When longing for her- Woh ladki
- When really really really disturbed by her- Uski
When speaking to Nani- Uss Khushi Kumari Gupta.
-When wants to contradict her ( yet to come)-- Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada).
I was noticing- How even in memory Uski (Her) to Arnav meant only Khushi - not La or any other girl he knew

How Khushi calls Arnav we know but in this two episodes she crossed all limits. Which means she was really really really really overwhelmed with Arnav. She usually restricts herself to giving one name at a day to Mr Raizada but let us count how she called her only in this two episodes.

- When concerned or loving Arnav- Aap
- When angry and still feeling professional- Mr Raizada
- When love and hate collide- Laad- governor
- When love and hate collide and still hate is more- Uss Laad Governor
- When overwhelmed she starts giving him names randomly- She called him
- Rakshsas,
- Kanz
- Ram teri ganga maili
- BIna shaadi ke saat saath rakshas

- When talking with Anjali- So far the polietest - aapke bhai.

Also realized that Khushi was more like Buaji then her mom. She called her all random names but with Payal she says only Payalia. We know that Khushi loves Arnav a lot and hates to love him so much. So made me realize just in this episode that Buaji also calls Khushi so many name because she is also overwhelmed by her love of Khushi

Episode 66!!!!!

Sorry for not commenting on all the analysis, poems, and etc but i did read them all!!! TAKE UR TIME MY FRIEND😊

This episode starts off with anjali telling shyam that she found someone to tie a rakhi on him and it is Khushi ji...shyam freaks out silently and saves his outbursts and said i wish you told me earlier but now i have some work to finish and was sad and just agreed and hangs up...bua ji is like what's up (in my mind she said that)🤣 and shyam is like i have to go to work and leaves...he leaves before bua ji could say anything to stop him (He is sure maha upset with the idea for khushi tying a rakhi on him) On the road he is crutching (my made up word for walking with crutches)like a fiends...and he just stops and an auto ricksaw stops a little bit before hitting his broken foot (how convenient) and the driver is like yo dude move...YES HE IS INDEED A PSCHOand deaf guy move alreadly...he gets back into his auto rickshaw and shyam is furious and turns around and grabs the man out of his ricksaw and beats the life out of him...people in the crowd finally stops shyam...and shyam realizes what he has done and apologizes and gives the guy money to fix himself up for all the injuries he might of given the poor guy (why in the world was shyam kicking the guy with his broken foot...wouldn't the make his injuries worse???) But from the looks of it gunda shyam is back.
INDEED HE IS GUNDA😈
At the RM the pooja is going on...anjali is performing pooja on arnav and in the background the Har Khushi song is playing (the male version) anjali ties the rakhi on arnav and asked him if this year the rakhi is good...anjali was like please say yes...arnav was like no...anjali gets sad and arnav is like it is very good...everyone is happy and akash's face was like bhai tum bhi na(his facial expression was the best) BEST SCENE EVER during the pooja nani was telling khushi that every year anjali makes a rakhi for arnav and akash and both brother and sister break their vrat at the same time...khushi is happy hearing this...Now it is akash's turn for his rakhi...after the pooja is done anjali feeds her brothers ladoo...she had the ladoo at arnav's mouth where la is like asr can't eat that because it has sugar...anjali is like it is sugar free but today it can slide...everyone smiles...Arnav said that the ladoo was really good this year..who made it...anjali was like this year khushi made it...RABBA VEY...arnav was like great she is affecting me (i was like arre vah arnav already likes the food his future wife will make...how cute)
HE LIKES EVERYTHING ABOUT HER
After the pooja is completed, anjali, khushi, and la are in the living room...and anjali was giving the list of things she should teach la...and anjali was like OMG so many thing but so little time...khushi was like it will work out but when is the marriage...la was like there is no marriage...me and asr are living together...la explains what a live in is and khushi was freaking out (very cute scene) la was like if it weren't for nani i would be in asr's room but that will happen one day...Khushi is eating a somosa repeating everything la said bite after bite...arnav then comes up and looks at khushi, who's mouth is full of food (my worst nightmare, if a guy sees me like that) HAHA. I NEVER CARED WHAT OTHERS THINK AND SAME IS KHUSHI.DID U NOTICE HOW ADORABLE SHE WAS LOOKING AND WAS ADMIRED BY HER ARNAJI TOOand he gets out of his revery and asks la about the file...everytime he asks...khushi hiccups...after the third time he screams enough and him and la walk out talking in a quiet place...anjali was like khushi are you okay khushi said yes and drinks the water...as khushi was leaving...she hears arnav yelling at la about the file...khushi leaves thinking poor lavanya ji...she must be forced to be in this live in...back to arla...arnav was like you have to choose between house stuff and work...la was like khushi comes in the morning and i am with her til evening how can i manage all this...arnav was like exactly pick one but do not become like khushi..HE CAN'T STAND ANYONE LIKE HER OR NEAR HER.arnav leaves and la was like i am only tolerating her for di...what if khushi leaves herself???sounds like someone is scheming...YEAP VERY SHAPPY MOVE THOUGH

Khushi comes home and is still thinking of the live in concept...khushi pulls payal aside and explains it to her...and payal was shocked as well (these sisters reaction was just too good...it cracked me up) khushi is convince arnav forced la...Bua ji comes in and asked who is staying together...khushi said me and jiji, she does not want bua ji to know the real reason because if she hears that khushi might not be able to work there again...THen the door slams and khushi was like what was that...bua ji said it was shyam and ever since he came back he is in tension...and she asked khushi to go and ask why...in shyam's room shyam is packing his bag and waits for khushi to come before he packs his bag...khushi is like why are you doing this he said because he has no one of his own...khushi is like i know why you are doing this...it is because i will not take your money..KHUSHI HAS MY RESPECT FOR THAT.YOU GO GIRL.he said that how can you not take my money but work for a person that has insulted you time and time again...khushi said that she is doing this for her dad and she can do anything for him even if it hurts her self respect (i respect her for that)...Shyam then thinks since you are so stubborn to work at the RM...i have to do something...What is shyam planning...WHEN HE IS NOT PLANNING??????????😈

ANITA GOOD ONE I LIKE YOUR MONOLOGUES ..HILARIOUS🤣🤣 MY COMMENTS ARE VERY VISIBLE

Indi, just read your post mentioned above and also some of the comments. You've really written everything that I felt in detail. Some of the comments were interesting too. Really, by conducting the second marriage, the sanctity and purity of the first one is discarded and so is the relationship status of Arshi during the 6 months. I want to quote these lines from the post -

you may ask so what's the legal status of the marriage? my little reading tells me that the gandharva practice of hindu marriage (one of eight practices, all legally acceptable under certain circumstances) which requires not much more than a private ceremony between two people is still considered valid as long as there's evidence in the form of pictures and/or a period of cohabitation between the couple and acceptance by the family and neighbours of the marriage itself. in case some one wishes to challenge this, the onus is on them to prove the marriage is not legal. if the things i mentioned earlier exist, the law tends to judge in favour of maintaining not destroying the marriage
Even I was thinking of the Gandharva practice where the rituals are minimal, usually just exchanging of garlands. But, I had doubts if that practice is valid in today's times. Thanks for letting know that it is legally acceptable.

Thanks Indi for that post, you really gave me alot more to think about, though i've been on the same page about believing their feb wedding was always valid, i never even thought about the legal aspect of it. have heard ASR say "legally wedded wife" and since i already believed they were, didn't give it much thought. The part @Durga quoted up there stood out for me as well, and you are sooo right!

I would like to share my personal wedding day experience, i had over 1200 ppl(no issues with witnesses) at my wedding, about 30 close family members and our trusted panditji...we did all the rituals perfectly, but somewhere somehow b/w all 1231 of us the sindoor rasam was forgotten...as a bride it all was a blurr to me + i was sick (ofcourse). a few days later i realized it, and being the bollywood buff that i am, watching all those heros put sindoor in heroines maang, i dreamt of the day my hubby would on me, i screamed! and my husband was like dude calm down, its too late and i was like "ek chutki bhar sindoor ki kimat tum kya jaano..." no j/k didn't really say that...later i called my mom and told her, she was alot cooler about it than me. She said as long as my and hubby accepted eachother as husband and wife, that's all that matters...in sweet gujju way, so my wedding wasn't de-validated b/c of one thing (i did take himto my little mandir at home and make him put sindoor in my maang, but it was more about feeling like those heroines i realize now). sorry got off the subject...but reading about the Hindu ceremony made me think about my day. btw, living in the USA, i never got in a practice of putting sindoor on a daily basis so that's why it took me a while to realize the ceremony wasleft out

After reading your post i see why you feel so strongly about the remarriage.. As i said earlier, on my second watch i felt much stronger about the first marriage being valid but didn't oppose to the remarriage as much. It will interesting to see how i feel about it now. ❤️ your idea of a intimate wedding, exchange of garlands and the reading of the letter from his momma. awww. in the end i believe it really was about two things, to satisfy ppl and to have a story, as we painfully got the memo shortly after the wedding "the story has run its course" 😕 'WHAT THE!" I wasn't watching the show as of then but I wish they would''ve come to you Indi, oh how i wish!!!

Episode 67

The Evil King

Sometimes people in power take advantage of their peons. They sometimes twist things to their advantage and that is exactly what Shyam is doing. He is using Kushi's sweetness and naievety for his own welfare, portraying himself in a sad way so that she will give him her sympathy, therefore gaining entrance into her heart. Disgusting! He tells her he has suffered greatly in his life (really, Shyam, really?) and even Kushi has caused him to suffer. He considers her as family; Kushi asks him why he is saying all this. He's packing to leave, again trying to tug on her heartstrings, but little does he know she doesn't feel that way towards him. He goes to leave and the whole house is upset but he is going; tomorrow is the festival of Lord Krishna's birthday and he needs to be home with his wife and family. Perfect play, Shyam all your subjects are under your control; you are an Evil King like Kansa.

A psychopath liar! His pretense is so irking!

At the RM Anjali, Mami and Mamaji are watching television and the breaking news is about a man leading a double life having a wife and a mistress. The family is intently watching and in disbelief as the broadcaster weaves the story of this man, his double life and his infidelity; as he is saying this we see a reflection behind Anjali of Shyam (Thank you Arshi for opening my eyes to see that) . This goes to show you how perfectly astute our creatives were, fantastic shot and premise behind it. Shyam joins them and throws his two cents in as well and he says you can not judge a person by his appearance and he would be in court everyday if he associated everyone with their deeds. Just the thought makes Anjali shiver. Shyams thoughts fly to Kushi and Mamaji watches the TV and smiles. Some light humor between Mami and Mamaji and he says after all the banter he knows men stink but why would he suffer more than once in his life! HaHa Mamji good one; you are behaving a little Kansa like as well.

I always loved Mamaji's sense of humor.

At the GH Kushi is lying in bed with a worried look upon her face. Payal is stroking her hair trying to sooth her younger sister for she knows when she worries. She tells Kushi that she always does good, right? Kushi nods. Devi Maiyya knows that, right? She nods again. So enough don't think about it, Shyam was worried give him space to think about it and you can call him in the morning. All will be well. She nods again. Got to sleep you have to work in the morning. Kushi tells her sister she does all this, suffers all this for her mother and father. It's just that Laad Govenor's mistake'the Evil King.

She goes to sleep and wakes up in a dream. She is in a court room where she is the judge, Lavanya is the plaintiff and that Evil King, LG, ASR is the defendant. Buaji is the statue of justice behind her. Lavanya call hers Chamkilli, um, your honor while Buaji is whispering in the background the words she has to say. ASR says he doesn't have all day. Buaji whispers, "After seeing all the facts and the evidence' Kushi repeats, "After'.JALEBI! (they are on her table), ahem, after seeing all the facts and the evidence and after hearing all the witness the court has decided that the mistake has been made by ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA! He kept her in his house by force without marrying her. He has insulted the institution of marriage and he will receive punishment. His punishment will be he is to stay away from Lavanya. (Good one Kushi is this subconscious mind speaking?) Lavanya thanks her. ASR points his finger at her and says I will not forgive you for that. She says, Look you can not scare Lavanya away and he says but I can you! Buaji says throw him in jail for he has insulted the court. She stands up and says you can't blackmail this court. He leaves his stand and hovers over her, Kushi cowering in the chair. I CAN do this! Buaji places her hand on Kushi's shoulder, giving her a little support and Kushi turns and says to him no YOU can't, because the Law is above all! Laad Govenor. Not so hard she says to her Buaji she is shocked to see that justice is her aunt who is holding the paddle. She scolds Kushi saying it is your entire fault and her dream or I should say nightmare ends with her screaming as she is just about to be paddled by Buaji. She wakes up.

Khushi's dream is eccentric like her.

The breakfast table at the RM is full everyone is there but Shyam who left early for "work". Mamaji wants to start his day with sweets after all they are celebrating. Mami says everybody is busy eting but will they celebrate the boy's birthday. Lavanya asks whose birthday is it and is there a party. Nani says why you want to sing and dance to another inappropriate song? Mami continues and says its Lord Krishna's birthday. Lavanya does just not understand it. Anjali tries to explain about Lord Krishna as well. Today is the feast of Janmashtami.

Lavanay was just so unfit for the Raizada family.

Krishna Janmashtami (Devanagari ????? ?????????? k???a janma??ami), also known as Krishnashtami, Saatam Aatham, Gokulashtami, Ashtami Rohini, Srikrishna Jayanti, Sree Jayanti or sometimes merely as Janmashtami, is an annual commemoration of the birth of the Hindu deity Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu.[1]

The festival is celebrated on the eighth day (Ashtami) day of the dark fortnight of the month of Shrava?a (August'September) in the Hindu calendar. Rasa lila, dramatic enactments of the life of Krishna, are a special feature in regions of Mathura and Vrindavan, and regions following Vaishnavism in Manipur.[2] While the Rasa lila re-creates the flirtatious aspects of Krishna's youthful days, the Dahi Handi celebrate God's playful and mischievous side, where teams of young men form human towers to reach a high-hanging pot of butter and break it. This tradition, also known as uriadi, is a major event in Tamil Nadu on Gokulashtami.

Krishna was the eighth son of Devaki and Vasudeva. Based on scriptural details and astrological calculations the date of Krishna's birth, known as Janmashtami,[3] is 19 July 3228 BCE and departed on 3102 BCE. Krishna belonged to the Vrishni clan of Yadavas from Mathura,[4] and was the eighth son born to the princess Devaki, and her husband Vasudeva. Mathura (in present day Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh) was the capital of the Yadavas, to which Krishna's parents Vasudeva and Devaki belonged. King Kansa, Devaki's brother,[5] had ascended the throne by imprisoning his father, King Ugrasena. Afraid of a prophecy that predicted his death at the hands of Devaki's eighth son, Kansa had the couple locked into a prison cell. After Kansa killed the first six children, and Devaki's apparent miscarriage of the seventh (which was actually a secret transfer of the infant to Rohini as Balarama), Krishna was born.

Since Vasudeva knew Krishna's life was in danger, Krishna was secretly taken out of the prison cell to be raised by his foster parents, Yasoda[6] and Nanda, in Gokula (in present day Mathura district). Two of his other siblings also survived, Balarama (Devaki's seventh child, transferred to the womb of Rohini, Vasudeva's first wife) and Subhadra (daughter of Vasudeva and Rohini, born much later than Balarama and Krishna).[7]

Hindus celebrate Janmashtami by fasting and staying up until midnight, the time when Krishna is believed to have been born. Images of Krishna's infancy are placed in swings and cradles in temples and homes. At midnight devotees gather around for devotional songs, dance and exchange gifts. Some temples also conduct reading of the Hindu religious scripture Bhagavad Gita.[8]

Anjali continues that Kushi will explain everything to you the story and the rituals that take place during the pooja for this feast. He hears her name looks up. Lavanya says oh, okay. He is leaving and Lavanya tells him about Kushi's condition how she doesn't want to see him or meet him face to face. He gets annoyed, how dare she, in my own house? As he is walking towards the door she walks in. The scene is like something from an old western movie, gunslingers meeting for the first time for a duel. He firmly and determinedly walking towards her, suave, and debonair, eye to eye, in his thoughts, 'how dare she say that she doesn't want to see my face, it's my house' and she is doing the same thing, Popping chana slowly into her mouth with no fear, a determination of disgust, what kind of man is he who brings a girl into his home without offering marriage but she doesn't stop there as they pass she mutters he is a bachelor AND a demon! What the hell? He says and she runs bumping into the column. She turns looking at him again and runs away. They both have shared the characteristics of an Evil King with much hatred and resentment towards each other today.

Very well said.👏

Preparations are in full swing at the RM. Namaste. Kushi has entered and is excited because they are celebrating the feast as she did in Lucknow and thye decorated the house for Lord Krishna's birthday. Mami comes and has a snide remark for Kushi. She is so mean. Anjali reminds Kushi of what she has to teach Lavanya today. Kushi feels bad for Lavanya thinks about their "live in" conversation and decides she must be nice to her, after all it's that Evil King's fault. She pops more chana in her mouth worriedly.

In the GH the pooja is also being prepared on a modest scale. Shyam and Payal are preparing and Buaji comes in with the statue of baby Krishna which she places on his swing. Shyam says hehas prepared sweets for everyone. She says Kushi will eat them all. She reminisces how Payal and Kushi as children would cook and sing and it was so much fun but now she is working. Buaji can't believe her job is to teach someone to be a good bahu. Payal says she said she would come home early. Do not worry.

Kushi is a stress eater. She is popping chana in her mouth; will you find comfort in those beans? Anjali looks at her and asks what she is thinking is she going to teach Lavanya? Kushi says yes and jovially goes and says hello to that poor victim of the Evil King. She sing songs her name, Lavanyaji, How are you? A little to jovial if you ask me. Very well no doubt she answers. She answers I know this is not your fault. Lavanya looks at her like she is crazy. She notices her basket of flowers and proceeds to teach Lavanya about the story of Lord Krishna, how he was carried in such a basket. She asks her to come and sit down she is going to tell the story of Krishna and his parents. She is playing the role of Vasudev his father and Anjali will be Devki, Krishna's mother. She starts by tying her dupatta and says it is a very old story told by her forefathers and so she remembers it. Anjali says well done! SHHH! Evening a dark and dreary night, its cloudy and rainy, thunder and lightning'CRACK'everyone jumps at the sound of the thunder. Vasudev and Devki were held in captivity when Krishna was born. Lavanya is confuse, captivity? Devki? Kushi says she will explain. She explains about Krishna's parents. Anjali is playing Devki and she is about to have a baby, Krishna. Now she is in captivity in a jail. Lavanya, "Di, jail? Why? Who took her to jail?" "King Kansa" "Who is he?" Lavanya asks. The front doors fly open and in comes our Rakshas, ASR. Kushi continues,"he is the brother of Devki. He was very authoritarian. He was very proud of himself. He had a lot of hatred in his soul." Lavanya still in a confused state says to herself, sister, brother, ASR? Hilarious. "He was always involved in bad things." She points her finger, "His name was King Kansa," and in walks ASR right in front of her pointed finger. HICCUP! Oh, Miss Kushi kumara Gupta you have it bad for this man and you don't even know it. The Evil King is standing right in front of you, open your eyes, pay attention, he is fuming! She slowly turns towards her pointed finge and sees him, mouth hanging open; Anjali stands up maybe she can save her. She realizes her finger is pointing at him, retrieves it and brings her arm down. Anjali reminds him that he is to go shopping for the pooja today. He remembers. He leaves but before he does he stops and looks back at her.

Who is this insolent girl who dares point her finger at the Evil King?

Loved your brilliant update of the episode.

episode 64

di, yeh yahan kya kar rahi hai!

how the ocean roared today. it lashed out repeatedly, breaking its fury upon its shore. lacerating it, whipping it, punishing it for being there, for mattering, for beginning to enter its inner space, its protected inner waters. go away, get out, never ever come near again. but what's an ocean without its shore. what's a shore without its ocean.

as the ocean churned, nafrat came out first, loads of hate, fear, ugliness, terrible feelings, ones that shook up everyone all around, poisoned the whole environment with its touch. reminded me of the samudra manthan many indian kids grow up hearing of. when the demigods and demons churned the oceans and so much came out of it. lethal, horrid things at first, but finally amrita, the nectar of immortality. could that have been love?

asr is not called arnav, ocean, for nothing.
WELL SAID

and today we saw its terrible face. yet it was a part of him, in its own way it had a certain terrifying beauty. there was no game, no twist, nothing unclean in his anger, it was as pristine as he is, came straight from his fear of that thing called love, and expressed itself without chhal or kapat, trick or wiliness. it was what it was.
YEAP U R 100% RIGHT AS HE IS AFRAID AS SHE IS

and once expressed, it brought his infuriated mind back to earth. almost.his anger was part of his nature, made him him. shiva, who was supposed to be the ultimate husband, was not known only for his "goodness." complex character he, lots of anger there too. YEAP GOOD AND EVIL BOTH LIVE IN HIMthe expressed sort, in fact he is remembered often in nataraja form, while performing the cosmic dance of destruction that will allow the recreation of the universe. a very deep character conception indeed.

in a funny sort of way as asr's voice hit an all new pitch, as though he was losing control, his very insides unhinging, storm tossed, a note of hysteria in it i could have sworn, i felt his voice rise, and circle wildly in a dance itself, a dance that would wreak havoc.I WAS THINKING THAT IS NOT HIS VOICE

"matlab? yahan kyun? di, mujhe iss ladki ki shakal bhi nahin dekhni hai... kabhi resignation dene ke liye... kabhi party mein mithai dene ke bahane... pata nahin kaun kaun se bahane karkar yahan aati rahi hai.. aur aaj aap isse yahan lekar aayin hai," voice rising, a falling apart in it. i don't want to see her face, she makes strange excuses to come to my home... you may be taken in by her, but not me...

"main isska asli chehra dekh chuka hoon." i have seen her true face.

she is flummoxed.

"aisi ladki jo paison ke liye kuch bhi kar sakti hai..." she can do anything for money.

everyone shocked. she's stricken at this insult. "khushi kumari gupta... kitni bhi koshish karlo main tumhe apne iraadon mein kamyab nahin hone doonga." try what you like, khushi kumari gupta, i won't let you succeed in your intentions. what intentions? who is this gold digger he knows, that comes up in innuendo again and again? obviously, she was there in his past... in sheesh mahal, the house of mirrors where all the mirrors shattered one day and dreams lay scattered... bikhra... like the pearls on a string snapping. (their first meeting came to mind.) he was relentless, that woman had to be punisheId, and so the blame fell on a surrogate head. HMMM..SLIGHTLY TAKING IT A DIFFERENT WAY BY AGREEING WITH YOU AS ACCTO HIM SHE IS BUT I THINK HE KNOWS SHE CAME BACK FOR MONEY NOT FOR HIM BUT HE DOES NOT BELIEVE IT JUST USE IT AGAINST HER.MY POV ...JUST TO DEFEND HIMSELF AS HE IS NEVER WRONG AND AT THE TOP HE IS BAFFLED WHY THE HECK THIS GAL"SAYE KI TARAH CHA GYE HAI" HE WANTS TO COME OUT OF HER SEHAR.IF SHE IS SCARED ,HE IS TOO AS NONE IN THE PAST COULD POSSIBLY DO SUCH A THING.

an innocent head with only hope and clarity in the eyes. she who had returned for her family's sake, requested by his sister to come back and bring peace back to his house was now being told she was after money. yes, she was a deal maker... but all she wanted was the good of those she loved. that, the only profit she played for.
YES SHE ALWAYS DOES BY HER HEART NOT BY MIND BUT USES HER MIND TO TAME HER HEART.ISN'T THAT BEAUTIFUL

yet, i am glad asr let his anger out. otherwise it would have further confused his emotions. i accept him with all his sides, the good, the nasty, the slappable. unwittingly his di said a pertinent thing, "IT WAS NECESSARY pad gayi dil mein thandak?" has your heart been cooled? yes, a certain cool will reach his heart, once the heat is out. to create we destroy... to find nectar we first rid the oceans of poison... to feel pyaar we must be prepared to know nafrat. this love's path is through the nafrat. actually, nafrat door jaane na de... the hate also doesn't let you go away, it ties you. and at last it is out there, openly.

her tears shine at the edge of release, glistening, catching light.

"iss ghar mein tumhe apni jagah nahin banane doonga." i won't let you make a place in my home... but it is elsewhere that she makes it...

"ab bas karo"... it's enough.

he is sounding less and less in control. spiraling emotion.

chhotey, listen to me.

no, di. heard enough.

chhotey, ek minute.

"ek minute bhi nahin, nani... iss ladki ke liye main ek minute bhi compromise nahin karoonga...jis ladki ne meri insult ki hai... meri baat katne ki himmat ki hai aur mujhe ulta jawab diya hai, woh aaj mere samne mere hi ghar mein khadi hai." what he didn't mention was the real problem. she has dared to enter a place that is sacrosanct. his dimaag... his mind. she sits there, he has been trying for days to overcome her power there. recently, "
SHE BROKE ALL THE BARRIERS AND CRACKED THE SHELL OF THE GREAT ASR SERIOUSLY "PYAR HAMESHA DIL SE HOTA HAI NAAP TOL KE NAHIN"HIS HEART IS NOT WITH HIM AND DOMINATING HIS MIND ALONG WITH IT WAS HIS BIGGEST PROBLEM

uss ladki ke baare mein sochna band karo," be a man, forget her. before that, when it first hit him, the pondering in the rain... am i wrong? no, main sahi hoon. later, a little lost, "yeh kya ho raha hain mujhe..." he must stop her. the ocean must tell the shore to recede... go away. and so just like he has said once before to her, only that time it was his office, now from his home...

"nikal jao mere ghar se.

get ouuut."

as he watches her furious, a tear rolls down her cheek. something begins to change in his gaze.
HER TEARS ARE HIS WEAKNESS

she leaves. unbearably hurt. even the air around seems to have ceased to breathe. LOVE THE WAY YOU SAID IT

he stands there looking a bit disoriented, almost sad.

anjali is mad at him. happy now? itna gussa chottey?

you've done wrong not by khushi, you did wrong by me... you have thrown her out, you will bring her back. THATS IT SHE IS ADAMANT AND RIGHT TOO AS SHE IS DOING FOR HIM

"main kahin nahin jaaonga, di! woh ladki mujhe iss ghar mein nahin chahiye, and that's final.yeh MERA ghar hai! this is my house." i am not going anywhere and she isn't coming back here. this is MY house.BIG EGOISTIC WORDS BUT FOR ANJALI LIKE A BOMB SHELL AS THIS IS HER PARENTS HOUSE.FELT FOR HER BADLY.SOMETIMES BROS JUST SAY THOSE THINGS WITHOUT THINKING

the dance of destruction peaks. stops. and with anjali's turning away, the first steps toward creation are taken. she walks away, stumbles, falls... di di.. he rushes to pick her up, but she won't be in his world any more. WELL SAID

he has hurt his sister, kills him more it does. again he has taken the pot and thrown, destroyed the rose to punish the thorn. two roses this time. arnav singh raizada ka nishana kabhi nahin choogta. asr never misses his mark.
HE DID HURT MOST IMPORTANT PPL IN HIS LIFE"YEH DONO MERI ZINDAGI MEIN BOHAT IMPORTANT HAIN"

di, darwaza kholo, di darwaza kholo, please. you know i didn't mean that. di enough di, please darwaza khoslo. please open the door di, i didn't mean it. naniji admonishes him. intense his gaze. so much in those dark, clean eyes.
LOVE THIS EDIT INDI SHOWS HIS GRADUAL CHANGES IN HIS MOOD AND EXPRESSIONS.JUST LOVELY

"kal raksha bandhan hai."
tomorrow is raksha bandhan.

he's struck. he struggles... hint of sadness and shame on his face. then a disengaging, a slight tightening of jaw...he turns and walks away... asr music.

khsuhi is taking off her jewellery and throwing them down on the dressing table. she throws her dupatta.. she has found a substitute to take her anger out on too. and angry she is. like him, has her temper. just that it isn't an "issue" as it seems to be with him.
THEY ARE SAME IN NATURE

payal is all concern. and indignant. how could he behave like that. let's go back to lucknow. but before that can happen, another phone call from amma. babuji is losing his health worrying about the shop.

"hum khushi hain" she says typically taking over the phone from payal, taking over the responsibility of her family always... and then, "hume poora yakin hai ki iss andhere ke baad devi maiya ki jyot ki roshni zaroor aaygi..."

i am convinced after this darkness, dm's flame will surely bring light.

and the bell rings.

he is here.

with an offer. music raises pace and scale, reflecting the turbulence. he can't leave her well alone, he raged in earlier, threw her out, raced toward his sister... then back again, now to her. waters ebbing, flowing, now rushing away, now hurtling back in... a shoreline really emerging through it all.
HE WAS LASHING OUT WHAT HE WAS INHALING ALL ALONG FROM HER AND THE PAIN HE WAS BEARING WITH IT IS UNBEARABLE SO THAT WAS HIS DEFENSE MOVE

"hai re nand kissore... aur phir maafi..." has he come to apologise, oh g, wonders buaji.

"arnav singh raizada kabhi kissise mafi nahin mangta..." asr never asks for forgiveness from anyone, terse interruption.

"main yahan sirf tumhe wapas bulane ke liye aaya hoon..." he has come to call her back for di. many months later he will say "wapas aa jao... mere paas... mere saath," YEAP FROM NOW ON HE WILL NEVER LET HER GO OUT OF HIS SIGHT EITHER HOOK OR BY CROOK.in one of the finest episodes of ipk, august 1 2012, come back with me... that time only for himself will he ask. tonight his mind won't let him see that. the poison must be drained first. in fact, the beauty and the beast is another tale that comes to mind again and again.only beauty could see the beauty of her beast. does she see it now? as she stares dumbfounded while he slaps wads of notes down, insulting her further? maybe not consciously... but she is so in tune with her heart, i get the feeling it tells her things that she will turn pages and look at later. for now, not a word from her.

her rakshas is back.. interestingly, change one letter and it becomes rakshak. demon... protector.

the one eye of horus that arshi writes of. the one eye we've seen before... the night of the rain hug, when he gets down from his car... much later, during the escape from kidnappers, right here. also her one eye during ankh micholi mahaepisode. is this all by chance? or are the director, the writer, playing with the theme of protection and protector all along? whatever it is, it gives thought.

YES THAT NIGHT HE DID PROTECT HER AND THEN POTECT HIS ASR ARMOR SHELL FOR NOT LETING HER IN AS HE THINKS BUT SHE WAS ALREADY IN
LATER AGAIN AS A PROTECTOR FOR SAVING HIMSELF AND KHUSHI AND THEN HIS Di DURING KIDNAPING.HE IS A PROTECTOR ALL ALONG

"kaafi hai? ya aur rakh doon?" enough? or should i keep more?

one more wad.

"pehle se double hai."
it's doubled now.

the insult scorches her skin, she clenches her fist but keeps quiet. "bikhar raha hai" ma had said, she will not let her family's dreams scatter.

"kal subhe main tumhara intezaar karoonga. aur jaanta hoon ki tum aogi." i'll wait for you tomorrow morning... i know you'll come.

payal barges in, no she won't! tell him we're leaving for lucknow...

khushi stands silent. she can only hear her ma's voice in her head. her dad is falling sick worrying about money, tears in amma's voice. tears in khushi's eyes. two wads of notes. and a bagful of insults.
SHE ALWAYS SUFFER COZ OF HER FAMILY

"what are heavy? sea-sand and sorrow.
what are brief? today and tomorrow.
what are frail? spring blossoms and youth.
what are deep? the ocean and truth."
~~~ christina rosetti ~~~
yes shyam did enter the episode. and since i couldn't yell get ouuut!!! at him, had to tolerate him. he is perhaps the most interesting foil character i've ever scene. asr raves rants screams shouts says awful things but is surf ultra clean. shyam always speaks gentle and sweet (sorry i can only hear the hisss) yet all the detergents of unilever, p&g, nirma combined will not be able to clean this stench, this cretin, oh oh oh.
HATE HIM. YES DHULAI HONE WALI HAI ISS KI
Indi Muahhh for this as u can see how much I enjoyed it I was going to use only ur fav purple al around .Sorry my comments are longish 2day as I was lost in your world oh sorry words.You can take all the stars for describing Arnav and his ranting and his oceanography his beautiful eyes ...I can go on and on and on .Just a big hug
The part @Durga quoted up there stood out for me as well, and you are sooo right!
I would like to share my personal wedding day experience, i had over 1200 ppl(no issues with witnesses) at my wedding, about 30 close family members and our trusted panditji...we did all the rituals perfectly, but somewhere somehow b/w all 1231 of us the sindoor rasam was forgotten...as a bride it all was a blurr to me + i was sick (ofcourse). a few days later i realized it, and being the bollywood buff that i am, watching all those heros put sindoor in heroines maang, i dreamt of the day my hubby would on me, i screamed! and my husband was like dude calm down, its too late and i was like "ek chutki bhar sindoor ki kimat tum kya jaano..." no j/k didn't really say that...later i called my mom and told her, she was alot cooler about it than me. She said as long as my and hubby accepted eachother as husband and wife, that's all that matters...in sweet gujju way, so my wedding wasn't de-validated b/c of one thing (i did take himto my little mandir at home and make him put sindoor in my maang, but it was more about feeling like those heroines i realize now). sorry got off the subject...but reading about the Hindu ceremony made me think about my day. btw, living in the USA, i never got in a practice of putting sindoor on a daily basis so that's why it took me a while to realize the ceremony wasleft out
After reading your post i see why you feel so strongly about the remarriage.. As i said earlier, on my second watch i felt much stronger about the first marriage being valid but didn't oppose to the remarriage as much. It will interesting to see how i feel about it now. ❤️ your idea of a intimate wedding, exchange of garlands and the reading of the letter from his momma. awww. in the end i believe it really was about two things, to satisfy ppl and to have a story, as we painfully got the memo shortly after the wedding "the story has run its course" 😕 'WHAT THE!" I wasn't watching the show as of then but I wish they would''ve come to you Indi, oh how i wish!!!
All agreed all of you as I researched it the day he said to her "Legally wedded wife".Yes Durga I researched and a friend of mine in the school also confirmed it through her grand mother.Your Quote is valid and Indi your detailed article is awesome as you broke down all the things way in an explanatory way.
Ami so u wanted ur hubby to do "Chuti bhar sindoor" lol .You were sick during ur wedding .gf you need to take care of you.I 've been telling you over and over.You have a log way to go.I am getting in the middle of my age and this is my condition but "Dheet Hadi hoon".Joke aside really take care of you seriously.
