Meanwhile at the GH, Khushi comes up with the idea to advertise catering, to which Buaji immediatly begs her, no more ideas, please . Khushi convinced her by using her dad's business strategies, "haan nahi kare hai, to konu aur ujha lai dieyo sasura laike(if i don't say yes, you come up with other problems)" "THANK YOU BUAJI!!!!!" and there is that hug :)

Arnav immerses himself in planning a anniversary party for Anjam (thanks Anita!), may be that will take his mind off of all things Khushi right? NOPE! He is on the phone with the same manager that Khushi just scored a contract with for his party "the party should be perfect, all guest should walk away complimenting it. understand?" La walks in just as he is hanging up wanting to complain about what happened in the mandir (where even after Nani specifically told her to get up early and come bathed, she didn't so Nani got really mad), but Arnav has no time or the mood for her drama since he has to plan in just one day (wow i would so hire him as my party planner if he wasn't so rich ).
She asks him what dress she should wear but he goes back on the phone..guess he didn't hear her, "hamaari bridal collection ki red saari pehnu? the one chamkili wore?" those sensitized ears pick up her name... attention no longer on the phone, pictures of Khushi in the red saari as he stands there thirsty to drink in her beauty..
he stops himself as his dimaag fights back "enough Lavanya!" he turns around "mujhe aaj ke baad uska naam nahi sun na hai (I don't want to hear her name after today)!"
just last night he woke up in the middle of the night to the most tender thoughts of her, her dupatta sweetly touching his face. Indeed he loved being "wrapped up"(Thanks Indi!) in her dupatta, and in her. Total submission to her essence, he was not ready to be interrupted by his girlfriend, he was still very much in a daze when La was trying to kiss him. But since he last saw Khushi, a certain resentment had been building up toward her then he saw the lock confirming his fears that she left. Every thought of her that wandered in, made him more vulnerable, a tag that doesn't suit Arnav Singh Raizada.
He needed to gain that control back.Later, while opening his khazana of personal belongings, Arnav noticse the motis (pearls) belonging to khushi's blouse that he had torn so vigorously that night at Sheesh mahel. Is there a more intimate place to put them than where his personal belongings stay in secured box? he has already made her a part of him 😊
There it is, the vulnerability on his face at the sight of them and his desire to feel them in his hands. The touch of them transport him to that moment the first night they met
seconds into the thought, he erupts, he throws the beads in such anger his whole body swings around. How out of control he must feel to erupt like that at her thoughts? how much did she hurt him by not listening to him and then leaving? That's it! no more! ...when he faces us again, the best back-score ever is back and so is ASR...well he's trying anyway. Hard-hitting dialogues spoken by the most hard-hit man to himself.
"itna kamzor nahin hai Arnav Singh Raizada ki ek ladki ke khayaal ko apne dil se na nikaal sake! ek saaye ki tarah chha gayee hai mere dimaag mein (ASR is not so weak that he can't fortge about a girl, she's on my mind like a shadow)"
By throwing those pearls out, he believe he is ridding of her thoughts and well.. her, but so much pain on his face because a part of him is also in those pearls, both have already become shadows of each other, the one doesn't exist with out the other... Arnav will understand this one day "agar tum koshish bhi karogi Khushi, tab bhi hum alag nahi ho sakte, Arnav aur Khushi hamesha saath rahenge (even if you try Khushi, we cant be separated, Arnav And Khushi will stay together forever)"
" bar bar usi ka khayal, uss hi ka chehra, jaise mujhe challenge kar rahi ho...nahi mein haar maan ne waalon me se nahi hoon. (her thoughts keep coming, like she's challenging me, no, i don't lose) "
She had been a challenge for him since their first meeting errr confrontation, then he signed a contract with her which he fully intended to win... but the unexpected happened, he fell in love...and for some time she was no longer a challenge, whatever she was, he was engulfed in it...he inhaled it... but now her constant walking away as he tries to speak to her and the constant taunting of her thoughts...she is a challenge again, or is it that calling her a challenge is the only way ASR can even begin to flush her out since he always has to win?
"Emotions, Ehsaas, inn sab ki meri zindagi mein koi jagah nahi hai...aur na mein kabhi ban ne dooga. Tum mere uss kal ka hissa ho jo beet chuka hai aur ab, Khushi Kumaari Gupta ek naam se zyaada aur kuchh nahi hai, (you were a part of my past, now you're nothing more than a name Khushi Kumaari Gupta) "
"Mein tumhe apne ghar mein jaga nahi bana ne doonga (I won't let you make place for yourself in my house)" he tells her the first day Anjali brings her to work at the RM, so adamant that he has no room for emotions, ehsaas (feelings), pyar (love), Khushi and jaga ban ne nahi doonga (emotions, feelings, love, Khushi and he will not make room for).
Determined he is, but this determination looks awfully familiar, "Arnav Singh Raizada ko kisi ladki se koi farq nahi padta (no girl will make a difference for ASR)"...he said to himself that day he saw her in the red and they when he saved her from an oncoming car. fact is when it comes to Khushi the harder he pushes away the closer he gets to her and the same goes for Khushi, and both are is pushing mighty hard.😉
His face say," i will forget her, i will win" but his eyes have moistened throwing her pearls away, they reminds me of a line from the first IPK promo: "Kaash mein tumse pyaar kar paata (I wish i could love you)"
Wonderful scene as Arnav and Nani reach a mutual understanding the wave their peace flags for the day of the party. There was so much respect in Arnav's eyes for this nani...just lovely
La wants to help more with the party, but he bluntly tells her he doesn't trust anyone except himself, realizing what he just said, he looks back at La apologetic for what he just said, "its ok ASR, but i have surpise planned for them also" [His sentence about trust says a lot, about where La stands in his life and how protective he is of his Di, only trust himself, on the note about La planning the surprise, i wonder why he doesn't ask her what she's is planning, he knows his gf is not the brightest bulb in the lot...and he just said he doesn't trust anyone when it comes to this party...just a thought.]
Khushi and Payal pass the taste test by the restaurant owner that hired them to cater for the big party. He tells them to hurry, the party will start on time.
"is there any info that will make it easier to find?" a very happy Khushi asks
"Shanti one, jaha raizada house hai"
Khushi's smile disapears and looks up in shock, Payal knows this will be a problem, "hum wahan nahi jaa sakte(I told you, i can't go there)" even after he warned to ruin her business, she was ready to walk out. Thankfully Payal convinces her reminding her of how much they need the money and how Buaji leased the bangles [im still very mad that they never got their money for this order] Khushi longs for Arnav just as much as he does, but this is exactly why she is terrified, he is a rakshash and needs to stay that way. Also if she goes there, he'll know that she didn't go to Lucknow and maybe even accuse her of being a liar. As always she asks from protection for DM when it comes to him...protection of her heart, of her feelings.
Heart-grabbing ending as we are set up for the maha-epi 2, Khushi and Payal arrive at the RM, nervous and anxious Khushi rings the bell, meanwhile Arnav on his phone yelling at some one. Khushi steps into his world again, a soft breeze...a soft melody... he feels this "ehsaas" that he has no room for, but when its in his midst, all is forgotten even the phone call...she prays that he isn't home, even though she felt him..Personally i feel she didn't really mean that :)
"Nahi woh yahaan nahi ha, mein uske baare mein nahi soch na chahta..."
