"fed up with the moping, she snatches the books from the accountants and says, enough of this. as she puts away the papers, she discovers her departed uncle's transistor radio. apparently, an avid listener of music, buaji's husband. was there more to that story, why the four quirky photographs otherwise?
and so starts khushi's favourite mood restorer, dance. the screenplay writer was in a cheeky mood, we got an arch love song about how you keep saying "no" when you mean "yes," and when it comes to love, just shoot my heart and and take my life, it's for you." - i love how she can cheer up any1...anytime...anywher...love her spirit 😊
"this can do, won't let anything get me down, spirit of khushi's is endearing, infectious, and laudable. not at all a believer in the "rona dhona" default setting of most women in our media, khushi has a refreshingly contemporary attitude toward life, her faith in tradition and ritual notwithstanding." - i agree 👍🏼
" she's not "cool" (though he was right later to call her the coolest person he knows)," - whn does he call her cool?
(of course, for the sake of viewer expectation and satisfaction, creatives never could show asr too much into la, but i have to say, it felt plausible here, for even bringing her home was not really his idea. plus, he had no clue khushi would have this impact on him, that he wouldn't be able to resist, so it all sort of worked out nicely.) - hav to giv it to the writers...for how they r bringin the story...its really amazin 👏
"a breeze rose, it played with his hair, then went and touched her, the most gentle and mellifluous rendition of rabba vey unified the opposite experiences. not quite opposite though, for behind shut lids, his wish came stealthily to his inner space. a locked door, thoughts of her. come back, his heart and sinew seemed to say, it hurts when you're not around, but his head held. no, he doesn't believe in such things. pyaar mein dil ko maar de goli, lele meri jaan. a neat shot, and heart shut up. no! he moved di's hand away. he didn't believe, had no vishwaas... and what could a star grant, that too one that was itself ending? " - i love the way u hav said it...👏
"why can't a curtain just be a curtain, why must it remind one of a playful, intrusive dupatta? one that touched him, caressed him, never seemed to want to leave him. yet she was going, hamesha ke liye. and he was just falling, falling upon her, into her her eyes, falling through."
asr was important. not only because he was hot, handsome, troubled, but because he had a universal appeal. somewhere in many of us a bit of him, something a little broken, a longing for something afar, a perfection, a completeness. a huge thanks to barun sobti for making him so real and breathing. every feeling he conveyed i knew in some corner of me, sign of a deeply written and expressed character. this morning my niece of 19 smsed, i am missing asr. no it wasn't just about good looks, there was so much more. - exactly i agree tht Barun nd Sanaya brought them...but its also their characters...how beautifully they portrayed...them tht it touched our hrts...nd left an impression tht'll stay forever ❤️ (or left a lastin impression)

why do stars fall down from the sky

close to you Nice take on stars the stars which will bind Arnav and Khushi together on so many occasions leading to tenderness love dead parents talking to each other during the time they took a promise not to talk so that they stay at peace😆 ultimate surrender to Arnav (they complete themselves by becoming one )by Khushi before her pheres her wedding day oh that stary sky whether it a shooting star or just watching the stars . Somehow I always assume the today Arnav's Dil made a wish for Khushi though his dimaag told allsort of things to his Di about a dying star etc and also both his Di and Khushi also wish for happiness
today gunshots and shooting stars came calling.
a lovely peek into ms sanka devi's personality. things are looking heavy. payal and buaji try to match expenses to earnings and peruse the dismal situation with worry. buaji talking nonstop and blaming khushi for her hair brained ideas. payal, sad at khushi's predicament.
but khushi?
not an ounce of worry or tension. she decides to dispel the gloom. her first strategy: tease buaji. then at payal's despondent, we might as well give up and go back to lucknow, a sharp, "nahin jiji, hum itni jaldi haar kaise maan sakte hain?" no, jiji, how can we accept defeat so easily?Hum honge kyamiyaab ek din Khushi makes this song true. Happiness is her Mantra and thats what made Arnav say ye kiss mitti ki bani hai after he told her the truth about Shyam she was behaving quite normally when she was leaving from GH to RH so also she is a ray of sunshine and makes everyone see a ray of hope in all situations.
...
this can do, won't let anything get me down, spirit of khushi's is endearing, infectious, and laudable. not at all a believer in the "rona dhona" default setting of most women in our media, khushi has a refreshingly contemporary attitude toward life, her faith in tradition and ritual notwithstanding.
there's no shadow of "abala naari," helpless woman, clinging to this sprightly young woman. she's not rich, she's not from an upper class back ground, she's not "cool" (though he was right later to call her the coolest person he knows), she's not a son. but she is all of herself. upbeat, fearless, ready to take a chance, and supremely positive. the dukh bhari dastaan struck women's portrayal could learn something from her. lovely thoughts
and because of this attitude i was willing to overlook her patently crazy plans. something always seemed to say, she's going to make it, the path may be unconventional but she'll get there some day. gave me hope.
her light, comedy oriented expressions were not just about having fun, they spoke of her, who she was. expressed her sunny side up-ness. perhaps a young girl, orphaned cruelly finds her own way to stay on top of things, stay happy. perhaps she knows the value of happiness; for at eight she was given all the burden of sadness life had to give. this was khushi's way of coping maybe. believe in stars; keep solid, concrete dm by yoiur side, friend, guide, mentor; and come what may, reach out for happiness.
"
asr went to la's room to console her after the debacle at the table. but as i watched him sitting there stiff and aloof, i had the feeling he was not being able to switch on and off efficiently between his yearning for the madcap girl who was gone forever and his current reality. one he had created himself, with his stubbornness and need to assert his right to live his own life his way. he was struggling, it was clear. and la, immersed in her misery, and the huge problem of not having brought her water proof make up, just didn't pick on his mind being elsewhere, continuously. (of course, for the sake of viewer expectation and satisfaction, creatives never could show asr too much into la, but i have to say, it felt plausible here, for even bringing her home was not really his idea. plus, he had no clue khushi would have this impact on him, that he wouldn't be able to resist, so it all sort of worked out nicely.)
brother and sister sat in their private space, surrounded by plants, by the water, where his defences were usually down, and they touched a chord within, that tied them to each other. khushi sat out in the night breeze.
suddenly, a shooting star.
"jiji! jiji! jiji! toot-ta hua tara..." she was delighted to see the shooting star. all set to make a wish.
"relax, di, ek toot-ta hua tara hi hai, bas..." relax, di, said he, it's just a star breaking and falling, that's all.
how different the two. his sister was not one to give in, she insisted he make a wish and covered his eyes with her hand. on the other side of delhi, khushi closed her eyes in her little world, believing in wishes that come true. a breeze rose, it played with his hair, then went and touched her, the most gentle and mellifluous rendition of rabba vey unified the opposite experiences. not quite opposite though, for behind shut lids, his wish came stealthily to his inner space. a locked door, thoughts of her. come back, his heart and sinew seemed to say, it hurts when you're not around, but his head held. no, he doesn't believe in such things. pyaar mein dil ko maar de goli, lele meri jaan. a neat shot, and heart shut up. no! he moved di's hand away. he didn't believe, had no vishwaas... and what could a star grant, that too one that was itself ending?
he left the sanctuary, unable to hear its truth. but di played elder sister, elder relative, one who loves him as a young one and wished that he he was aleways happy and that some should come into his life who'd finish off his pain, his dil ke dard, forever. hamesha.
segue to khushi. "kya manga?" what did you ask for? "kuch khaas nahin... kal hume koi bada sa order mil jaaye..." nothing special, just that let us get a biiig order tomorrow.
in the garden open eyes had been closed, in bed, just the other way round. a breeze blew, as he slept.
his eyes opened. he seemed to hear a call. a pensive air in him, a search...
he walked up to the open doors, and the curtain blew, instinctively he held it to push it away. an armada of memories floated up across the water. light danced on the pool, reflections played on his face. and a girl stepped out, catching hold of his thoughts, his feeelings.
why can't a curtain just be a curtain, why must it remind one of a playful, intrusive dupatta? one that touched him, caressed him, never seemed to want to leave him. yet she was going, hamesha ke liye. and he was just falling, falling upon her, into her her eyes, falling through.
lavanya walked in and broke his reverie. his real world needed attention. his girlfriend needed a goodnight kiss, but he was so wrapped up in that darned dupatta.
the evening was saved by naniji and her trusted lieutenant, lakshmiji. naniji fired a couple of rounds and the goli marna seemed to work.
a note:asr was important. not only because he was hot, handsome, troubled, but because he had a universal appeal. somewhere in many of us a bit of him, something a little broken, a longing for something afar, a perfection, a completeness. a huge thanks to barun sobti for making him so real and breathing. every feeling he conveyed i knew in some corner of me, sign of a deeply written and expressed character. this morning my niece of 19 smsed, i am missing asr. no it wasn't just about good looks, there was so much more.![]()

Thank you!Episode 53:"Come on ASR, itna kuchh ho gaya aur tum kahe rahe ho "realx", mein idhar ro rahi hun, aur tumhe faraq he nahi pad raha" La's words made something click in Arnav, he knows La's tears don't stir him up like Khushi's, something deep from within shakes up when Khushi sheds them, seems like he is thinking to himself, why so much farq padta hai (makes a difference) with her and Farq nahi pad raha with La? He cares for La very much, in fact he felt terrible for her when Nani embarrassed her at dinner and even fought back with Nani after she called La a liar, "Lavaanya kam se kam try to kar rahi hai (she is atleast trying)_...Nani, ab sach mein bahut ho gaya!" Perhaps his reaction to La's tears is normal ASR behavior but how he gets lost here with Khushi's thoughts, maybe of her tears or of that locked door "hamesha ke liye..." is no ASR, it through and through Arnav. Completely oblivious to La's complaints while she makes her way to her mirror, while she is in front of her mirror, when she walks back to him, and even when she cuddles to his arm, she get his attention, but it's a delayed reaction"I know ASR, as long as you're with me, both us can handle any situation" ASR has to think for a sec before he nods yes to a hopeful La, before leaving her. Barun at his best "oblivious" face again...pure brilliance!Payal and Buaji are doing some bookkeeping and learn that they havn't broke-even. Khushi walks in and asks "now what happened Buaji?"At the GH, things are bit tense,Buaji as usual speaks her mind "you stay quiet! this is all your fault!" mocking her niece "dukaan chalai ha (gonna run a store)" and further yelling at her for giving free sweets to kids, "badi aaye daan data, heh (big charity giver, heh!)" all a bit comic but the frustration was a serious matter since the family just can' t afford to go into a deeper hole.My favorite eternal optimist, Khushi reminds them that " tomorrow is a new day" and later she gets them to dance 😊[This is one aspect of Khushi they have kept consistent and i'm oh so grateful for, Sanaya was at her Khushi-best today, from the the dancing to the wishing, young, vibrant, colorful Khushi]Mami cries a river because she's insulted and hurt by Nani's remarks of beswaad khana (tasteless food). Mama scolds her for getting involved to whitch mami replies "aap to sutupai kar lo " while wipping😆. So sweet ho aakaash tries to consoler her. Nani fianlly puts a stop to her, "khana boora nahi bana rah(food wasn't bad), but i had to do this to bring the trueth out. She laid down the rule that noon can help Ms.Kasyap "i hope everyonoe understands" and she leaves the table also...noone got to eat dinner, poor mami, all that work for nothingStars are a big part of this story, not only because they aligned so magnificently to bring these lovers together, but they played a big part in bonding the two.An orphaned girl believes her parents became a star and are watching over her, a concept that an orphaned boy would otherwise be quick to dismiss, but he knows her pain much too well, there is nothing but compassion for her. months later, in a moment of weakness he would turn to the girl and ask her like he was a 7 yr old, "To kya woh sach mein tare ban ja te hai?... meri maa mujhe dekh kar khush hai? (so do they really become stars, is my mom happy to see me)" he had started to believe her, it becomes a common ground for two personalities who otherwise need no reason to clash.Today, a shooting star connects the two in beautiful parallel scenes."jiji tut ta hua tara!" Khushi yells out for Payal who runs out immediately"Kya tuta, kaha tuta, kaisen tuta!!!!" 🤣 buaji run out worried something more valuable broke.😆The star crossed lovers both witness the shooting star, She couldn't be more excited and her belief strong in these stars, after all her parents are up there, while he deems all of this rubbish and tells Anjali to "Relax Di, its just a shooting star, don't get too happy"But as usual Anjali gets her way and tells him "jaldi se wish maango (quickly make a wish)" she puts her hand over his eyes while Khushi closes hers and wishes away. The soft breeze pick ups on both of their faces, becoming a messenger between the two...touching Arnav's face, it brings the essence of Khushi to him, he pictures the locked door and Khushi's words "Hamaari shakal" (my face) dekhna nahi chahte na aap (don't want to right)"...to see her shakal is his wish, for her to come back is his wish...but his ego forces the denial to emerge, "Di, mujhe kuchh nahi chahiye, I don't believe in this stuff, aur jo tara khud khatam ho raha hai, vo mujhe kya dega, and if the star could fulfill wishes hen it would've asked for itself already"hmmm his need to add the last line, certainly there is ASR sarcasm in there, but there is more resentment, she left "hamesha ke liye (forever)" and he is helpless now, how is a shooting star going to help? He walks offBut always his well wisher, Anjali doens't miss a chance to wish upon a shooting star for a cure to his painful heart that would make way for his happiness, his KhushiWhen Payal asks khushi what she wished for "Kuchh khaas nani...just that we all stay together, and happy and also that we get a big order tomorrow" her first answer of "nothing special" had a lot of weight to it. She didn't want to say anything until Buaji teased her. I believe the wind chimed in while her eyes were closed, just as it did for Arnav, in addition to the things she mentions, surely he came in to her mind during this wish, but unlike Arnav, she is sure her wishes will come trueThe wind still whistles and wakes up a "sleeping handsome", actually don't think he was really sleeping. Slowly he walks over to his window where the wind was calling for him, giving life to his drapes. He tries to tame the drapes, only its happy flying triggered memories of Khushi's duputta. is there anything that doesn't remind him of her???The romance in his eyes on his face as he held the drapery, the anguish..UFF UFF UFF (Only Sobti would make me wish i was a curtain! )as these thoughts of her dupata entered, seems he forgot to shove the drapes to the side and held on to them instead. He has a the tightest of grips on her dupatta, I mean his drape, like he never wants to let go...He looks outward, under the moon light, only soft tender feelings he breaths out, the water reflects so heavenly on his face bringing a certain calmness, a coolness, this dhoop(heated like the sun) of a man takes in the gorgeous chandini raat (moon) that the whooshing wind has brought him to ...Gonna stop here, just feels right today not to let him be interrupted, EST, there is still 1/2 hr worth of Valentines day left so 😊 wonderful episode to disect for me today, filled with shooting stars, wishes, the most handsome man by his pool side under the moonlight...looking like a greek God...sigh and a beautiful girl under the sky looking as beautiful as ever (even more so than the red saaris for me)... perfectly apt for these star crossed lovers and the perfect recipe to awake the romance in any girl. Beautifully explainedThe ambiance created by the makers both outside the GH and RM is pure MAGIC! they put the romance and in air and HOW? we could smell, feel and breathe it in! marvelous👏👏👏left out Shyam's stomache turning scene in bed in honor of today but just want to mention Abhaas Mahta's acting there deserves and applaus, what he did with his voice modulations create draw a "feel sick" feeling in the audienc, was really good.DROOL CORNER!!!!! gonna have fun with this one, including 52 as well :)
❤️ He woke up with his eyes lusting for romance ❤️☺️
