"Khushi joined them. She was also worried, but took away the writing book to distract them. She put the book in the cupboard and found an old radio. She turned it on and an old Hindi movie song started to play there. Khushi tried to lighten up the mood of Payal by dancing and acting. Buaji also joined them. All of them danced in the tune forget about the financial crisis of the family. Khushi got relaxed to see her jiji and Buaji happy. They didn't have money, but they knew how to find happiness in trivial thing, specially Khushi. She sure finds her happiness to make her family happy. " very true 👍🏼

I love khushi and bua ji's relationship they are always on each other's cases but they cannot be apart for long - thts true 😊

Episodes 52 and 53

While Khushi is trying her best to set up her sweet business Lavanya is going through the test of fire.

Lavanya is modern day working woman who hasn't had to cook in her life. It if fine because ASR is absolutely okay with it. Jan miya biwi raazi toh kya karega kaazi right?

But no. Nani is bent upon looking for traits of the ideal bahu in her and it looks like ASR has fed Lavanya to the lions. 😆

I feel sorry for Lavanya. Kitna papad belna pad raha hai usko. Literally.

But there is one thing I don't feel sorry about. Is she blind? ASR isn't showing an iota of emotion toward and she is going to his room to kiss him goodnight 🥱

Dear Lavanya,

I would like to let you know that ASR is showing more emotion toward the flying curtains in his room than your hug. He is hesitating when you are trying to get close for a kiss. Let me tell you another thing. ASR doesn't look the type who would hesitate to get what he wants. In fact he would probably pin you to the wall with his eyes and hands. So dear, don't waste any more of your time in this mad house where the crazy nani is setting her crazy goat to nuzzle your feet, when we know you wanted someone else to do that. That ain't gonna happen. Just get the hell out of there.

I just loved your letter of advice to la. Oh.. I wish someone really sent her one when she was in RM !! Poor la .. because I seriously believe, she knew in her heart that ASR is not that interested in her but even then she was desparately looking for some kind of reaction from ASR !! Maybe la should have been given her own story and clubbed her with NK. would have been fun :)

episode 52

it's not easy being a serial writer. even if there's a whole team of you taking care of different things. to come up with a plot movement, plus dialogues, and the design of it all every single day, that's some task.

and then the lovers.

to device a meeting of the two, again and again, without getting into a rut. an absolute challenge. we're on the fifty second day of the serial. from day one these two have met. every day we see them coming upon each other in different ways, with all sorts of little nuances added, story grown, attraction taking hold. somewhere along the way, rabba vey has entered the scene, the breeze, even the awareness of each other. flashbacks have become a trusted technique to connect dots, "show" feelings. and they've moved from being perfect strangers from two different worlds who clash at first sight to this. where the thought of not being in each other's sight is causing palpable pain or complete misery and confusion, depending on whose side of the story you're watching.

we've just seen a plethora of flashbacks as asr looked at the locked door over 50 and 51. finally, khsuhi's confusion has cleared and she has taken dm's "ishara" to come back, not leave delhi.

jay davi maa mishtanna bhandar is coming up around some really cute scenes hinging on a bizarre business plan. of course, i've suspended all disbelief, since i'm really keen to see how the lovers will get together again. and of course, sanaya irani, abha parmar, deepali pansare are fine actors who can bring a loveliness to practically anything, the writers have gone all the way to cooky without holding back, yet somehow it's working, happyji adding the cutest footnotes to the scenes.

just one conundrum, how should the two meet in this scenario? why, it's a sweet shop, they'll meet here, of course. and since the man is a diabetic, he can't partake of the sweets, but what's to stop him from getting some kachoris. with a slosh of chutney for good measure?

the most ingenious meeting of two love birds i think i've ever seen. writers deserve an applause, a standing ovation for that. it shall be theirs once i stop rolling on the floor laughing. the front page tycoon and the ticked off maithaiwali, met for a hot date... here take some more chutney, you!!! said the smitten sweetheart. he looked implacable though and kept eye contact right through.

sanaya was utterly awfully madly nutty. and did you see how well barun acted? 😳

this was my high point in the episode. enjoyed the rest of story telling. naturally, poor la bungled big time. poor mami said, "hum toh samjhe the ki ekdam rajdhani express hai par ee toh nikli payssenger tirain," i'd thought is was an express train, turned out to be a real slow one. nani was too sharp for the super duo. the cinnamon added just the right flavour to malai kofta but completely spoiled the taste of the meal. the girl who would rather get the servants to cook and was willing to try, couldn't bear it all no more. she stormed off. her irate boy friend followed. but only after a flare of his famous temper, "nani, ab sach mein bahut ho gaya." face stony, eyes simmering, fire wanting to burst out of every pore.

and before i go, just one other thought. khsuhi and co's success at getting customers reminds me of mine when i attempted to sell lovely hand made things from india in a "muhalla" that was supposed to have plenty ready customers: my daughter's school fair. buaji's desperation echoed mine, khushi's joy at making even one sale, certainly i've been there. and did you see the face of the first one the three ladies swooped down upon? was he the one who months later would try to attack khushi on a lonely road, and get her karate moves? her mithais or her chops, what's your choice?

now all is in the hands of the one and the only. and she did a mighty good job of showing the writers the way today. jai devi maiyaya.

Payal is so shy, she does not even dance openly wiht her family when she did she immediately stopped.

In lavanya's room, arnav was trying to console lavanya...but he was so aloof the whole time. la said i am crying and it makes no difference to you...he goes into deep thought (habout what i have no clue-but i can guess khushi) la goes to teh mirror and said how bad she looks...she notices arnav not paying attention and goes to him. and she puts her head on his shoulder😡 ( i got a little jealous) and said if we are together we can solve any problem.

Khushi was outside and was looking at the stars, and then suddenly she sees a shooting star and she screams shooting star shooting star (of course in hindi) payal comes and khushi shows her the shooting star (seriously i never saw a shooting star like that). bua ji comes and asked what broken all frantically...and khushi said it was a shooting star...and all three guptas make a wish. All the way on the other side of town...anjali and arnav see the star...anjali asked arnav to make a wish and she put her hands over his eyes. then the instrumental rabba vey starts to play and showed arnav and khushi both wishing. Bua ji was like what did you wish for and khushi said nothing special...bua ji was like nothing special took you that long, how long would a special wish take. khushi wish for all of them to stay together like this forever and for the business to do good...payal wish for her parents to be happy and have no problems. khushi said that is a good wish and it will come true. Bua ji said we should go to sleep and if tomorrow's business does not do good, my hopes will be like that star. the scene switches to the RM, anjali asked what did arnav wish for and arnav said nothing...if a star is about to end how will it help me and if it were to help it would have done it already. Arnav walks away and anjali said, if you cannot wish for yourself i can. Anjali wishes for arnav to be happy and wants someone special how can get rid of his fears and pain.

In anjam's room, anjali walks in to take off her jewelry...and shyam is asleep and thinking of khushi and regretting not listening to her, and wonders if she will come back and that he will have to go to lucknow. Anjali notices that he is not asleep and asked what is wrong and if she can do anything..he said not and anjali got said because he did not tell her his problems. anjali sleeps on his shoulder and shyam said he might have to go to lucknow. Anjali thought there is a problem with his family but shyam said it is for business...anjali becomes sad again and asked if he forgot...shyam said no in two day it is our 3rd marriage anniversary. and he promised he will be with her on that day. shyam said talking to you all my problems are gone and i am sleepy now..so they go to sleep.

Nani is walking around with laxmi, saying since Lavanya has been in this house i cannot sleep peacefully...Right then lavanya is sneeking around going to arnav's room, and nani saw her and hid. Arnav is in his room and he cannot sleep...he goes by the window and the curtain flies on his face and he thinks of khushi and all the instances where the dupaata flies on his face ( i swear anything flying fabric makes him think of khushi). Then lavanya came from behind and wrapped her hands around his waist😡 (that should be me) and arnav is like what are you doing, la was like no worries i came to say good night and no one saw me. they sit on the bed and la tried to kiss him and arnav stopped her, and said no one is here...and she tried to kiss him again...but when she was about too laxmi was licking her feet...and she thought it was arnav, arnav showed her his hands and she said your eyes and hands cannot lie but your feet can't...arnav turned on the lights and it was revealed that it was laxmi...la got scared and come on the bed and said laxmi is worse than a ghost...it must be a detective...arnav called JP and nani came in acting like she is looking for laxmi...and she got mad when she saw la in arnav's room and the episode ends

nice colourful one. that one in pink bold underlined, careful girl, you have several soutens lurking on the thread. never noticed buaji and husband's picture but i too find the bua khushi relationship most interesting and lifelike. i loved the aloof asr, i guess he is still to wrapped in dupattawali's dreams. 😆 poor boy. and then the eager girl friend. and then the goat and the grandma. can't a guy be left to mope alone?
