ok now this is really frustratingš”...so really????š” it's because of fans that IPKKND ENDED????
šššššSome facts:- 'the story has run its course': who did this statement? NOT FANS...Fans did not say this but I believe it was a consequence of fans actions. The PH just couldn't please anyone. There was an uproar when Daljeet wanted to leave with people begging her to stay(not me though)...so like normal people the creatives made a track that focused on Daljeet (because the fans wanted to see her, right?) so what happened then...another outcry no one wanted to see a Daljeet storyline. People only wanted Arshi/Sarun. PH knew Barun wanted to leave so they asked the audience 'we've done the Arshi story...what do you want now. Unprofessional though it might have been I can understand their frustration. The biggest problem was that the PH listened to the audience too much, they had a story to tell and they should have stuck to that and I totally agree with 'dekhna hai toh dekho'. Unfortunately fans acted as consumers with the right to demand changes rather than an audience which entitled tthem to give feedback but at the end of the day they needed to remember they were watching someone else's story and vision.- the storyline started to fall down: IT'S NOT BECAUSE OF FANS...Again,fans did have a small part to play in this too...alll they wanted was Arshi, they didn't let the creatives tell their story. I believe the story the creatives wanted to tell was a darker story but people just wanted romance. The sad part is that the creatives drew fans in so well into their story that fans started to think of it as their story...kudos to the team who was able to do this. Again creatives were ultimately responsible for maintaining a decent storyline but it's impossible to please everyone, for instance people hated the swami and GH tracks but I absolutely loved them and in fact was watching them just today.- the show has lost its charm and essence: NOT BECAUSE OF FANS...That's a matter of opinion I for one was still glued to my screen every evening at 8pm and not just for Arshi/Sarun, I actually still enjoyed the show...I didn't even have any issues with the Mrs.India track because even that was better than all the saas-bahu dramas.- Internal problems happened: NOT BECAUSE OF FANS...Agree. I don't know what the internal problems were but they were obviously there and even if they were caused by fans feedback/demands the PH/SP should have handled them.- Actors Cv's heads etc have left the IPKKND ship: NOT BECAUSE OF FANS...but perhaps because of fans demands? People keep saying that the other actors were underutilised but hand on heart how many people really wanted to see major storylines revolve around the other characters.- the 'dekhna hai to dekho' line WAS NOT SAID BY FANS... Nope, but I agree totally with the person who said that. No one forced anyone to watch, if people didn't like what they saw they had every right to give constructive criticism and either continue watching or use their remote controls.- Barun was under contract for 1 year: IT WAS NOT BECAUSE OF FANS...Agree with you, that was between Barun and the PH/SP. Having said that though the PH then had every right to continue their story the way they saw fit, whether it was by replacing Barun or bringing in a new character. It was their story, their business and their right to do what they wanted without fans demanding the show be shut down because they needed their fairytale. Again fans had a right to give their feedback to the PH/SP not the incessant spamming that was going on.We're being blamed? šš”it was so easy for them...they showed us crappy tracks so we'll get angry and as if it was not enough they wanted to introduce a new character...they knew fans reaction...a little honesty would have been better...they've lost interest for IPKKND a long time ago and they were waiting for THE BIG MOMENT...when patake will explode... and this is what happened...as fans viewers and consumers we have the right to express our views...because some of us are paying to watch channels like SP...The thing is the power was always in the hands of the fans...fans always had the right to change the channel if they hated the tracks so much. As for the new character there are a lot of people who were willing to give the new character a chance. I've seen the phrase 'star crossed love story' bandied about all over the place and now people talking of the premise of IPK. A 'star crossed love story' by definintion is one that ends in tragedy and the premise of the show was 'nafrat paas aane na de...mohabbat door jaane na de. I don't see a definite promise that we were going to get a happily ever after story. Yes, that would have been nice but when the lead wanted to leave and people refused to see anyone else in that role then yes fans were responsible.I disagree with consumer rights to the point of making demands when it comes to entertainment...I don't feel I have any more right to tell a PH how to tell their story than I would a film production company on how the storyline for their film should be or an author on how they should write their story.SO NO FANS ARE NOT TO BE BLAMED... and about people who've lost their job I'm sorry for them...but they knew that they were under contract...it could have been 1 2 3 or maximum 4 years...even less...we all know that if we enter in this 'world' it's not forever...Barun Sanaya and all the cast are nothing to do with it...they were only actors who did their job...The 200 people losing their jobs literally overnight was a direct result of the show closing down and fans definitely did have a hand in closing the show down. It was not the fans job to think of those people but it wouldn't have hurt for people to spare a thought for those people purely on a human level but forget that people were totally cold hearted about these fellow human beings. The thing is if people had let the show continue these people may still have lost their jobs but at least it would have been with a notice period and purely because the show couldn't be sustained. I can't condone someone losing their job whether it's for one day or one month because of something as selfish as my need for my TV show to be the way I want it to be. I'm not saying that fans alone were responsible for the closure but I do think their input through the endless spamming was the straw that broke the camels back and maybe made SP think that all of this was just too much bother.NEXT TIME BETTER FOR US NOT TO GET EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED TO A SHOW... This I agree with 100%.I don't think we are ever going to know the full truth of what happened and quite frankly that may just be better, but I think none of the parties involved came out of this smelling of roses.
