Fellow IPKKND fans,
I have been reading Barun, Abha, Sanaya, & of course LM interviews, reactions & other posts on this topic in this forum. "Sir, how is any of this my fault", this sentence by Barun was what struck me most in LM interview followed by Sanyana being real life Khushi: "No, we will work even harder, we will make this show work"...Today, again the forum is at war... but I think we fans are not exploiting this crisis to our advantage.. we are letting this opportunity go to waste...
Should have, could have..
This section should be filed under water under the bridge category.. yes LM was not happy with direction of the story, so left in Nov. 2011 & then returned for re-marriage till end of show.. there was tension, took an unspecified turn that he didn't agree with... it is channels fault, it is PH fault... but my question to fellow fans : Do we CARE??
Cold hard Facts & current situation
It is universally acknowledged that this whole team was magic, not just the leads but everyone & everything came together & just clicked.. perfect.. very rare occurance... and as a fan I think it is also universally acknowleged that the fans are still here... wanting the team either in a new show or IPKKND2...
Also as LM & Abha's inerviews indicate the time is now to take action.. here is the current situation (as far as I know) for various actors:
Barun: From his print interviews, SPL interview to viewers & other articles we know...
- He has a movie coming up to shoot in April, he should now be in a workshop preparing for this movie.
- His first movie is releasing in April too...
- His response to one of the back stage attendee's question about season 2 was positive.
- He is considering offers from Zee TV to work 20 hr/week for TV... if & a big if this is true.. looks like he would consider working for TV if his hours are reduced & in parallel he is able to explore other (BW) career.. sort of juggle both..(no judgement here... it is his life)..
Sanaya: From her US paper interview, LM interview and other articles... we know...
- She is not interested in Film career.
- She is in the reality show about hosting on Colors TV... but nothing long term project
- She was interested in working hard to continue with the show.. she could take on the lions share of the burden...
Daljeet:
- I know.. I know.. we fans absolutely hated her Souten track... but her chemistry with Barun was electric.. the closeness between these 2 on screen siblings came alive in every episode...
- as far as we know... she is still available...
Abha:
- We know that she is right now not considering anything till her son's marriage...
- she is extremely interested in bringing it back on with the team...
- Would definitely want her for IPKKND2
Utkarsha:
- I haven't seen any information regarding any new projects...
- cannot imagine IPKKND2 without her..
Jayashree T:
- I haven't heard of her working on any other projects
- She is also reported to open to work with the team.

Akshay:
- I haven't heard of any upcoming project
- His displeasure was at being sidelined and being a prop most of the time...
- He could be crucial esp. if Barun is willing only to work 20 hrs/wk, he would have to pick up the slack..
- His off screen chemistry with Barun was more in evidence than his offscreen.. this could brought into on screen
Deepali
- Has done some commercials but not any major project
- Her displeasure was also being sidelined..
- Her chemistry with Khushi as sisters was outstanding.. the older sister looking out for her slightly off track yet well meaning younger sister..
- she & Akshay could get more to balance out Sanaya & Barun
Karan
- We all love his Naneji...
- Get him a job & a girl..
- He is still available.. otherwise would have announced on twitter
The rest of the cast - my POV less important but would still love to have them all back
LM & behing the scenes team
- According to LM, the entire team is ready to come together again to re-ignite the magic
FANS: Now to the most ingredient of IPKKND.. us Fans...
- We called, spammed.. created hungama.. we didn't want Arnav dying..
- We didn't want Khushi with anyone but Arnav...
- We closed the show down
- We are getting video released by channel..
In other words... we have the power... even the show is off air.. even though we are not on the main forum... yet the posts are as busy.. we are still frequently here to give latest news, interviews...
If anyone can bring around a second avatar of this... it is the Fans... right now we are very disorganized.. talking about issues out of our control... it should not matter to us if it is Channel or PH fault...
The only way I see this working is unite as before.. get ourselves organized so either SP or different channel, the same PH or different PH.. .. we should get this off ground before and keep the date of June as the beginning of new season/show...
If anyone on this forum has any contact in the indurstry.. and any idea of how to bring this about... we should get a plan of action going... and shock the TV indurstry with our Fanpower once more...
Can I request the mods to keep this post as Sticky, on first page... and let us spend our energy & time on bringing this about... We brought it to close... We will bring it back to life...
Suggestions by forum members so far:
- Weekend show - like Teri meri : While not getting our daily Sarun fix.. this might actually improve the quality of show..
- Daily show - but with reduced Barun presense.. expand other leads roles.. including Khushi's..
- Comedy show - Complete new genre for Indian TV, along the lines of Friends/Seinfield... semi-reality... they portray cast of a daily serial, but this would be about behind the scenes... what we would see in SBB, SBS etc.. but of course scripted...
Since the show ended so abruptly, we can do IPKKND2...

- With Barun... working reduced hours.. give us some intense Rabba Ve... maybe Honeymoon to start with a bang... send Arnav to US..bring back Payesh (a pregnancy track?).. continue with Khushi starting to run the business with Akaash & NK.. bring in a love interest for NK.. a "hard nosed" girl.. i.e.. get the other tracks going.. and ... then bring in Arnav from US trying to persuade her to move, Nok jhok about business etc... maybe bring in Shyam... have Di falling for his words again(?)..
- Without Barun...do a leap... Sanaya is Khushi/Arnav's daughter... she is like ASR.. thinking her parents abandoned her...Khushi is dead, despondent Arnav stays in US unable to face a life without Khushi...a mature actor comes back as Arnav.. and is aghast at his daughter... of course this may require a either a whole new cast for the rest of the family, or retain them but show few years older... but can be done...
How do we get in touch with either PH/LM? Do you think we can somehow make contact via TeamBarun?
