Hello forumwasis' I m Pooja , 23 years old BMS grad, from Mumbai'I wud like to share my journey wid barun'

Well, I first watched Barun in DMG'Where he was in hospital bed'I found him weird, but interesting..

Later' I was one day flipping channel..nd suddenly I crossed sony. I watchd him in a scene were he was stuck wid heroine in some hotel room..wearing nothing..lol..i watchd him 'and I noticed dat he was completely different from DMG' I noticed him once again'

Then came IPKKND.. I watchd it for sanaya'but I was literally bowled over by Barun s acting 'his every

nuances..made me , my father , my whole family sit and notice him'then I googled and found his name to be BARUN SOBTI'at first I found his name to be weird but now I find varun name to be weird :D'

Being a south Indian ..we were not exposed much to TV 'as we are very studious'but IPKKND WAS THE ONLY SHOW WHICH WAS watched by me and my family , my neighbours religiously'Barun became a household name'my dad used to say'hw each and every role was perfectly casted'arnav, khushi, mami, nani, di, shyam, everyone was apt for the role'

I got married in October 2011..to my husband who is a gynaec' I made him watch the show' he too was amazed wid arshi and 8 pm became our family time'me ,and father in law used to watch it regularly'and we enjoyed roller coaster ride of IPKKND'

BARUNS HONESTY, SIMPLICITY, LOVE FOR HIS FAMILY , WIFE, ACTING SKILLS , EYES'WERE SOMETHING

WICH MADE ME ADORE Him. My father in law..( a retired bank officer) always says he has got something within him wich is undescribable.

12 weeks before I found dat I m pregnant'and I was jumping wid joy'it was decided( by my husband and me) dat if it was boy then he wud b named arnav nayak'and if it was girl then she wud be called khushi nayak'(SUCH WAS IMPACT OF IPKKND)

I was a silent reader on forum'then the whole fiasco started'barun bashing ..blame game etc'and I became a barun defender/ drooler/ fangirls/ or whatever we are called'

But this made my love and respect for him grow leaps and bound during dis period'hw he handled the situation very calmly was really appreciated'its true dat he doesn't need to come out and shout to say his innocence'coz his true fans will always support him'..

When the disclaimer was aired'my husband literally uttered dat its good they are ending ..otherwise the shows essence wud had been lost'and it wud hve been dragged '

We became a big family of barun droolers' 2-3 weeks before I found dat I m carryin a boy(as my patidev is gynaec)_ 'my whole family is excited to welcome arnav into home'but my father in law was of opinion dat he shud be named barun rather than arnav'as he was really amazed by the person barun is'.and it is decided by my in laws mutually dat my little one wud be named barun nayak..

MY father in law is a very modern thinking person'he also logins to IF using my ID' he reads fanfics

( Mirage is his favourite)'various posts, VMs, articles, offscreen videos( we used to watch it together)..

Being a experienced person he really adored barun for his skills and wished to name his grandson Barun..

As his wish is being granted' we are waiting for my little barun to arrive in this world'

I hope he mkes me proud 'just as BARUN SOBTI DOES'

May Barun aquire greatest heights, then I can even more proudly tell my little one dat he was named after him..

I wud try to inculcate the best skills in him and I hope my little barun wud be as humble as barun sobti is and wud love his family just as Barun does'

As a whole family , we never went to theatre to watch films'but dis year'we are making exception just to watch sheer talent called BARUN SOBTI..

AS i m on a maternity leave , and preparing for my MBA , ...aftr 2 years if i get a chance to work wid channels...just like Ashwini YARDI ( who had made star plus no.1 and now she is colors mentor)... i wud make sure ... i cast Barun and Sanaya ...in a romantic never seen before show..

THank you so much dear for sharing your experiences with IPK. But one thing I can tell you I cannot watch IPK with anyone. I always watched alone online or Telly. Couldn't watch romantic scenes with anyone 😳 Anyways congratulations for Barun Nayak
