I still won't believe that the show was shut down because of viewers request.There are several other examples where there was uproar for the actors leaving but the channel/PH never shut down a show.An internationally recognized popular show shutting down within a week at viewers uproar-they must be kidding right?There is more to it than what we are seeing now which we might not even know but having said,IPK has ended-we can just hope for the best in the future.

I am glad the show shut down when it did even if I had no active role to play in it..the story and the chemistry of Arshi and Sarun were what set this show apart from all the other run of the mill shows on air now ...even if khushi found another love after Arnav died .. The innocence and purity of story would have been lost ... Arshi chap chuke the hamare man par ab change nahi ho sakte the ...

Anyway the great story they had been having post remarriage where most people were sticking only for Arshi and Sarun chemistry ...the characters of Arnav and khushi had no continuity with the characters established earlier ... Aise main to establish a new character is extremely difficult ... The new product has to be really really strong but they were going to go with an angry young man a clone of Arnav and possibly a gray character and a compromise marriage... Rehash of the same story which would have reminded us every step of the way if what we lost ...

The trps would eventually have dipped and all the good name for show, cast and crew would have been wasted . This way all concerned cast , crew, PH and channel are still reaping benefit from it ... Is anybody talking about the decline in story line. ? No ! Ipkknd will now always remain an iconic show ... Not some obscure show which was great and then trickled down to obscurity in the end and taken off air for low trps ..

So if fans took it off air then they did the smartest thing !

Show got closed because of many reasons. SP is not silly to close internationally famous show because of only spamming and calls.
